Fated

Every day we make lots of decisions. We can never read the future, and although we try to choose well, there will be times in everyone’s life when things don’t work out. We may take a wrong turn and end up far from where we want to be, we might choose something that hurts us or those around us, or we may make a decision that makes our lives miserable. We all know when we’re on the wrong road, but because of circumstances, we might not immediately turn around and redirect our course. Life is complicated and if we’re tangled up in a situation with others it may be difficult to free ourselves and walk away. If we continue forward and it turns out we made a disastrous decision, we will pay the price, whatever that may be. We may lose friends, disappoint family, hurt those we care about, or damage our credibility. We can never change the past, but where we’ve been cannot define what we can become. We aren’t fated to failure because we’ve made a mistake. Our lives are in our control and when we’re ready to change direction and start again, we can. Nothing can keep us on a journey we don’t want to make. When we’re ready to change, we can stop where we are, look at all the options possible and choose the best road moving forward. Our past mistakes are not indelible ink, permanently tattooed on us. We can repair damage from a bad decision, rebuild relationships and forge ahead. It doesn’t matter what’s behind us. What counts is what lies ahead and how we move forward. There is great success waiting, and we can do what is needed to reach it. No goal or destination is too far or too difficult to achieve. We can change anything at any time and move toward the lives we want the most. What’s gone is gone, and the future is ours to design. Nothing can keep us from anything we desire, and we will succeed.

There are people all around us most of the time, and when we falter, chances are others will notice. Some may simply see what’s happened and move on. Others may hold onto it and try to use it to hold us in place. They may remind us of where we went wrong in the past, and continually bring up our shortcomings. Nobody is perfect and we all have things we need to work on. There is nothing to be gained by constantly rehashing past mistakes. By learning as much as possible from where we’ve been, we can take that knowledge with us to help us as we move forward.

Personal pain can be very difficult to overcome. If we’ve gotten hurt badly by a choice that tilted us in the wrong direction, it can be hard to let go of the disappointment. We may think we should have known better, but nobody can see the end of the road from the beginning. We are intelligent and can trust ourselves to make the best choices moving forward. We can have faith that no matter what comes, we will prevail.

Today if you’re struggling over a mistake you made in the past, and it’s holding you down, think about all the things you’ve done well. You are good at many things and nothing can keep you from success. Trust yourself and step forward with confidence. All your dreams are ready and waiting. There is great success ahead, and you will reach it.

Now What?

Life is full of surprises. It would be great if they were all happy events like an unexpected party, found treasure or an unforeseen promotion, but we don’t live in fantasy land and sometimes the surprises that come are unwelcome and difficult. Our whole world may be turned upside down in a moment and everything we depended on and thought would happen may go up in smoke. The road we were happily pushing forward on may disappear, and the rug may be pulled out from under us. “Now what?” we may wonder. How are we going to proceed when the way ahead is gone and we are standing alone, bereft, and confused? We may struggle to see through dark, difficult days, and believe life will never be good again. It may seem as if everything is over, this is it, and we are done, but that will never be the case. We may be dumbfounded and feel lost, and unsure how to proceed. Hard times will undoubtedly come to us all, and our worst dreams may materialize before our eyes. It doesn’t matter what goes wrong, it doesn’t matter how bad the situation gets, and it doesn’t matter if at first, we can’t see any way out. The answers will be there for us. We are intelligent and highly capable, and we’ll find them. There are limitless roads to every destination. If the bottom falls out of our plans, we can make new ones. If we can’t move forward where we were, we can adjust our course and start again. Nothing is powerful enough to end our progression or hold us down forever. Nothing. Every single dream is still there for us, and we can reach them. We already have all the courage and wisdom we need to do anything we desire. We can stand firm, look at all the possibilities and then decide how we want to proceed. Storms will come, and dark clouds may press, but they cannot continue indefinitely. With patience and determination, we will find our way through and reach success.

Everybody stumbles from time to time, and we’ll all face challenges that try us and push us against our limits. Rome wasn’t built in a day and we don’t have to solve everything right away. We can take a break when we need it, and as our minds rest, new answers will appear. Everything we need to succeed is there for us. We can step forward with clarity and be confident we will prevail.

When we’ve been enduring a difficult situation for a while, and no matter what we do it continues, we may believe it will never end and we are doomed. Change is constant, but it isn’t always immediate. Nothing can stay the same forever, and we have everything we need to endure and manage whatever we must until our situation resolves. We are strong enough to handle any issue or problem, and will find our way through.

Today if you’re going through a difficult challenge and are struggling to find the way forward, trust yourself. You are smarter and more powerful than you imagine. Decide what you want, and step forward on the road that will take you there. Nothing can overcome you. Every success and every dream are possible, and they will be yours.

Two Roads

The world is filled with opportunities and possibilities. There will be few times when we have only one possible way forward, and often there will be several options and roads we could choose, and many different prospects ahead. We’re in control of our lives and can design them any way we desire, but where we go depends on the choices we make. Every decision will take us somewhere and change something, and if we’re not paying attention or don’t look before we jump, we might end up somewhere we never intended to go. When we’re standing at the crossroads between going one way or another, the direction we choose will decide what comes next. Two roads may look the same, and we may not be able to see beyond the first curve. There may be no obvious difference at first, but they may end up at entirely different destinations. So how do we choose? There is no way to read the future, but by learning everything we can about the choices available, we can trust ourselves to make the best decision. We can step forward on the road that will lead us to the destinations we want most, and then continue forward until we reach the goal. Life is complicated and there will always be unforeseen developments that may slow our progress, problems may arise that stop us for a time, and we may need to take a detour or two. But if we’re determined to continue forward, nothing can keep us from success. When two roads lie before us, and we must choose, we can take our time, and decide what we want most. We are capable of making excellent decisions and can choose the direction that takes us to the future we desire. Every single possibility is already there for us and nothing can keep us from reaching any destination. By trusting ourselves, and stepping forward with confidence, we can make our dreams come true.

Our lives are often busy. It’s easy to get caught up in routine responsibilities and set our personal goals aside. We may think we’ll get to them when things slow down, but life is complex, and there are few times when everything falls into place perfectly. Our personal dreams are important, and when we’re ready, no matter what’s going on around us, we can begin toward them. The life we want the most won’t just happen because we desire it. We must create it. Every possibility is there for us, but we must decide to step forward and claim it.

Indecision and procrastination are powerful and can hold us in place indefinitely. If we simply think about what we want instead of making a decision and stepping forward, we’ll go nowhere. If we continually put off choosing something, time will pass, and nothing will change. We can have the lives we want, but we must create them. We can be confident, choose the roads we desire most, and then move toward success.

Today if you’re trying to decide which way to go, trust yourself. You know what you want and have everything necessary to succeed. Look at all the possibilities before you and choose the road that will take you where you want to go. Everything is possible and nothing is too far or too difficult to reach. Step forward with confidence. Nothing can keep you from success and all your dreams can come true.

Not Yet

Life is unpredictable and nobody knows how long they’ll be here before their ticket comes up and they check out. For most of us, life is long, and if we’re focused, there will be enough time to accomplish many of the goals we want. We can choose the destinations we desire, and then proceed toward them. However, if we flounder around, procrastinate, or just sit and let others pull us along, we’ll never achieve the things we desire no matter how much time we have. Years will come and go, and we’ll still be in the same place doing the same things. Nothing is beyond our reach and once we decide what we want, we can make a plan to get it, and then step forward and do what is necessary to succeed. If we’re determined and keep our eyes on the prize, nothing can keep us from success. Some things will come easily, but the big dreams and destinations will take effort and time – sometimes a lot of effort and time. If we’ve been pushing forward for seemingly forever, and our progress is slow, we may begin to feel it’s hopeless – we’ll never get there. Some things may elude us because they are not available right now due to situations out of our control. If we can’t advance, we can set the goal aside, and move on to something else. The destination will remain, and when things change and the road ahead opens, we can start again. Just because we haven’t yet reached the prize doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Timing is important and setting something down for now and moving onto something else isn’t giving up on the dream. We know what we want and can design our lives in ways to reach success. Every single dream is possible, and with wisdom and clarity, we will make them ours.

Failure is a natural part of life. It’s a learning process that shows us what doesn’t work and helps us change direction when we need to. Losing round one doesn’t mean we’ve lost the game. Failure isn’t the end of the journey but is actually success that hasn’t happened yet. We can take everything we’ve learned so far and choose the best way forward. Nothing can hold us in place forever, and we already possess everything necessary to accomplish anything. We can be confident and sure as we move closer to the goal, and trust that we’ll gain the prize.

It’s hard to be patient when we’re eager to reach a goal. We want to get to the end, and we want to get there now. Few roads are paved and clear for the entire trip, and we’ll likely run into issues, complications and snags that tangle us up and keep us from advancing. But every problem has a solution and we are intelligent enough to find all the answers we need. We are more capable and powerful than we imagine, and nothing can keep us from success.

Today if you’ve been on a long, difficult road, and the goal is still far in the distance, decide how you want to proceed. You can stay the course or move onto something else until things change. Be open and look at everything clearly. All the answers are there for you and you will find them. Every success is possible, every dream is waiting, and you will reach them all.

Going Solo

Life is full of opportunities and we can do anything we like. Our lives are ours to design and every goal is possible. We are in control of our decisions and can make them in ways that take us closer to the destinations we most desire. There will always be others around us, and if we share our vision with them and explain what we want to accomplish, they may cheer us on, or they may disagree and try to dissuade from our dreams. Everyone has their own opinions about how things should go, and we’re all entitled to choose any path we like. We can listen to any suggestions or advice, and then do exactly as we please. We never need agreement or permission to create any scenario we desire. After all, our personal journey is for us, and nobody else. We aren’t here to pave the way for anyone else’s dreams, and we never need to hold ours back because others don’t like it or don’t think we should proceed. We know what we want and although support and agreement is nice, we don’t need it to succeed. We can go solo and chart our own course to every destination we seek. The whole world is there for us, and every conceivable plan is possible. We need only decide what we want and begin forward. We can do what is necessary to achieve complete happiness, even if we must do it alone. We’re born alone and we’ll certainly die alone, but in between there will be others around us. Their influence may be great, and we may value their experience and wisdom. They may want us to do as they ask or go along with them, but we don’t have to follow their lead. We are entitled to our own dreams and desires and have everything we need to make them ours. We can trust ourselves to create the lives we want the most and find great happiness and satisfaction.

It’s great to build good, strong relationships with those around us. Having family and a network of friends can embellish and enrich our lives. We may enjoy spending time with them, sharing activities, and learning new things. They may invite us to do many things, or want us to emulate their decisions, but we never have to do anything we don’t want just because we have a connection. If they want us to go somewhere we’re not interested in, or do something that isn’t right for us, we may politely decline. Having a relationship doesn’t mean we must be the same.

Our journey is ours to determine. We are unique and individual, and there never has been, nor will there ever be anyone exactly like us. The roads we choose to travel are ours to choose, and we may go anywhere and do anything. By embracing our own desires, and appreciating our specific gifts and talents, we can find great pleasure and joy each day. Every success is there for us, and we can reach them all.

Today if you’re being pressured to change your plans and go in a different direction, choose the road that will take where you most want to go. You never have to go along to get along. Be confident and chart your own course. Nobody knows you better than you know yourself. Step forward on the journey you desire and proceed toward the goal. Nothing is out of reach, and you will succeed.
