Big Red Line

Everyone has their own ideas about how life should go and what we should do. We all have our own personal preferences about everything in our lives. We like some things over others, and pattern our lives in ways that enable us to do what we prefer. There are endless expressions and unlimited varieties all around us. When we want something, we can clearly define what it is, what it looks like, how we’ll get it and thousands of other parameters. If we’re looking for a companion, we can define the traits we like the most and try to find someone who fits them but it’s important not to draw the lines too severely. We can narrow the field all we like, but the more lines we draw and parameters we set, the smaller the group of possibilities will be. If we say we will only date people who are tall and have red hair, and refuse to even consider anyone else, we will eliminate a lot of other potential candidates. If we further add they must work in a specific field, make a defined amount of money, drive a certain type of car, and dress in ways we find attractive, we may specify ourselves right out of success. It’s good to know what we want, but if we keep our options open and allow a wide scope, we have a better chance at finding what we want. Sometimes the perfect situation is completely different than we imagined it would be. By keeping our minds open to all possibilities, we can achieve anything we desire. Every success is possible in every arena of our lives. We have what we need to find them, and with clarity and patience, we will reach them all.

When we’re facing a big decision and look at all the options before us, we may quickly discard some because we don’t like them, or they look too hard to manage. The first look at something can never tell us all the facts. New and uncharted roads may seem daunting at first, but if we take one step closer, and then another, we may find what looked impossible at first is within reach. Throwing ideas away before we find out what they have to offer may keep us from the best roads ahead. We are intelligent and highly capable. There isn’t anything we can’t understand and manage.

The past can never predict the future. If we’ve had a bad experience with something we might avoid anything that looks like it or reminds us of it as we move forward. Life isn’t a record that repeats over and over again. We need not limit anything because of a previous loss. One failure cannot keep us from success. It doesn’t matter what happened before, everything is still possible. Each day brings new opportunities for success, and with determination and focus, we can make them ours.

Today if you’ve been drawing a big red line around things you will not do, think about expanding your vision. You are incredibly capable and powerful, and nothing is too difficult or complex for you to understand. Be open to new ideas, and courageously step forward. The world is full of possibilities and everything is on the table. Every success is there for you. Keep your eyes open and they will all be yours.

Make You Happy

Everyone wants to be happy and feel satisfied, and fulfilled in their lives. We all deserve complete happiness and it’s within the reach of everyone. If we’re unhappy and unsettled, we might try to achieve contentment by acquiring things, and accumulating wealth. It’s fun to purchase things we desire, and they may bring us immediate joy, but the thrill of something new wears away quickly. Wealth may seem to be the answer to lasting happiness, but we will be the same person whether we achieve it or not. If we haven’t figured out what we really want and need, no amount of money will fix it. We might think if we find someone to love us whom we love in return we’ll be happy, and that is certainly possible. But every relationship has its challenges and there will be ups and downs that may cause hardship and stress from time to time. Contentment is fleeting when we get it from things or others. If we want real, abiding happiness, we are the only ones who can give it to us. By taking ownership of our own peace and fulfillment, we discover what gives us joy and then can design our lives in ways that brings it. There are endless roads we can travel, and unlimited things to do. We can mimic those around us and follow their example, but until we chart our own course toward the goals we desire most, we will never reach complete fulfillment. Understanding what we want the most, and then doing what is needed to make it ours, will fill us with great satisfaction and endless pleasure. Every single blessing we seek is there for us, and nothing is out of reach. We have the power to do whatever we want, and reach every success.

When we love someone, we want them to be happy. We may do the things they want to do, and agree with them, even if we feel differently, in an effort to make them comfortable. It’s good to compromise and work with those we care about, but giving up who we are and our own personal viewpoints to keep the peace or make things seem easier than they are, will not bring us satisfaction. We can build good, strong relationships and still express our own opinions. Our contribution is valuable, and by confidently sharing our ideas and perspectives, we will enrich our connections with those we love.

It’s impossible to find real, lasting happiness by relying on others to provide it for us. Everyone is working on their own lives, and taking care of their own responsibilities. We can’t lean on our friends or family and expect them to pave the way for us. We have everything we need to do anything we like. We can trust ourselves to reach any destination and accomplish any goal. Our lives belong solely to us. With determination and clarity, we can design them in ways that make our dreams reality and bring us incredible happiness.

Today if you’ve been waiting for things to change in ways that make you happy, take charge of your life. You are amazing and capable, and can do anything you desire. Decide what you want the most, and then step forward toward the goal. Nothing is too hard or too far away for you to reach. Every success is possible, and you will reach it.

Obstruction

We live in the world with billions of other people. We’ll never meet them all but there will likely always be someone around us. We all have our own goals and ideas, and are all on different roads. There are unlimited ways to get to any destination, and we choose our own path. Although our journey is ours alone to design, it doesn’t mean while we’re on our way we’ll be alone the entire time. Everyone gets to design their lives any way they like and we may face a time when someone else’s journey causes a disruption in our own. We may be in each other’s way trying to move forward. What we want may be in direct opposition to what they are trying to achieve, and if we must work together, there will be conflict. If we’re sure our plans are best and we’re determined to continue the way we started, it may be hard for us to listen to any other point of view. We can dig in our heels, and refuse to budge, but a stalemate will never move us forward. There is a way around every obstruction we may face. Compromising doesn’t mean we have to give up what we want. We can hear other suggestions for the way forward, and modify our plans to accommodate whatever situation we’re in. We never have to stop our journey indefinitely to allow someone else to complete theirs. It will always be possible to find a solution to any impasse that lets everyone continue forward and helps us reach our goals. We are smart and able to find solutions to any problems we face. By being open to new ideas and listening carefully, we’ll find the answers we need. Success will always be there for us, and we will prevail.

When we drive a car there are rules of the road we must obey. They are designed to help everyone move ahead without causing problems or blockades. We will rarely have the road to ourselves, and it’s important to follow the rules so that everyone can move forward and reach their destination. If we come upon something that blocks our path, trying to ram it out of the way or drive over it may cause us more delay and trouble than simply stopping, and looking for a way around it. The same is true in our personal journeys. We can always find an alternate route to get us to our goal, and overcome any obstacle. Nothing can keep us from success, and we can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Some people may feel they have all the answers and any non-compliance with their ideas is unacceptable. If they have authority over us, we may be compelled to follow their lead, but if not, we can choose our own path. We’re all entitled to our own opinions, but that’s all they are – opinions. Nobody has the inside track on anyone else’s life. We know what we want, and where we want to go, and with determination and focus, can reach every goal.

Today if your plans have hit a big roadblock and you can’t move, stop and look at all the possibilities available. There is always a way around any problem we face. Decide how you want to proceed, and continue forward. You are capable of greatness, and nothing can keep you from your goals. Trust yourself and step forward toward success.

Holding It In

Everyone is different and we all have our own opinions about how things should go and what we should do. There are endless ideas about everything that happens and those differences bring great depth to our experience and help us understand the world. But differences can also cause conflict, especially if someone believes they have the right answers and refuses to listen to any other option. If we must work with them and have a different idea for moving forward, we may struggle to express our viewpoint. Conflict is a normal part of life and can be challenging. If we remain silent, things may be easier, but keeping our ideas to ourselves prevents others from hearing another option. We are important and our contributions are valuable. We can be confident in speaking up and offering new ideas and different methods to accomplish any goal. We are capable and intelligent, and offer a unique perspective that can augment and enrich the way ahead. Every idea has worth, and being open and sharing our impressions and thoughts will bring refreshment and a new point of view that may unlock new doors. There is no way to know what suggestion will turn the tide and pave the way ahead. If we keep our thoughts to ourselves, they will never have the chance to bring us success. We are more powerful and wise than we think we are, and nothing can hold us in place. We can openly contribute to every situation and fearlessly explain our point of view. There is great success ahead, and by sharing our ideas and thoughts with those around us, we will reach every destination we desire.

Some people are very confident, outspoken and strong willed. They know what they want, and don’t hesitate to tell others their opinions, and push their way to the front of the line. If we aren’t as confident and are interacting with them, we may feel intimidated by their behavior. If we have a different opinion about how to proceed, instead of sharing, we may hold our ideas in and keep them to ourselves. Nobody can read our minds and it’s impossible for anyone to know where we stand unless we tell them. Nobody has all the answers. We all have something to offer. By trusting ourselves and speaking up, we can contribute to everyone’s success.

There is always a risk when we share our own ideas that those around us won’t agree, and we’ll be left standing alone with no support. That may happen, but it doesn’t mean our ideas are worthless. It only means they are different than what is needed right now. It’s impossible to know what the future holds, and a proposed course that doesn’t work right now may be perfect for something coming up. There is no down side to offering and hearing alternate opinions and new suggestions. They open us up to original concepts and different roads ahead.

Today if you’ve been unsure about sharing your own ideas, speak up and let others know where you stand. You are amazing and capable, and every idea has value. Be confident and trust yourself. Share your thoughts about how to proceed, and let others know where you stand. The whole world is there for you, and nothing can keep you from your goals. Hats

Our lives are filled with endless opportunities for growth, change and the ability to move ahead. We can decide what we want, and then look at all the ways forward that will take us there. We have many talents and each day we get the chance to do something new. Like trying on different hats, we can choose which we like and what fits before we move forward. Some hats may be too big, and at the first gust of wind, blow away never to be seen again. Some may be too restricting and uncomfortable, and it’s difficult to get them on and wear them for any period of time. However, some hats will fit us perfectly, and we can put them on and wear them with confidence moving forward. Our lives and the things we do reflect all the choices we make and the goals we want to achieve. We are highly capable and can do anything we set our minds to, but there may be times when what we want to accomplish doesn’t fit into our lives at this time. If we’re too busy, that hat may be too tight. If we haven’t clearly defined what we want to accomplish, it may be too loose, and we need to wait until we have a better idea of what we want to do. Not everything is possible when we want to do it. If the goal isn’t available right now, we may need to set it aside until things change. We can review our objectives, look at all the options possible and then decide what works best for us. Life is long and there will always be many opportunities available to us. Once we decide what we want, we can plan the way forward and move toward the goal. Everything is possible, and with patience, determination, and focus, we can have the lives we want the most.

Everyone is different and we all have varying talents and gifts that enhance our lives and the lives of those around us. Our individual contributions are what make the world interesting and rich with differences and interpretations. Some are good at one thing, some at another, and each offering adds something new to the equation. Nobody can do everything well, but altogether we can blend our talents and create something amazing and incredible. Every idea has worth and value, and working in tandem can bring about results beyond our imagining. We are powerful and wise, and bring great depth to the world around us.

We’re all good at many things but nobody is good at everything. Maybe the negotiation hat doesn’t fit us well, but we’re good at listening. Maybe we can’t manage the technical realm but we’re excellent at interpersonal communications. Understanding where our talents lie, and then making the most of them will enrich our lives and pave the road ahead. We all have a lot to offer. Recognizing our unique gifts and sharing them with those around us will bring us great depth and understanding.

Today, look at all the possibilities before you and decide what you want the most. Make a plan and take the first steps forward. You are smarter and stronger than you imagine, and every goal is possible. Choose your destination and with determination and focus, move toward it. Nothing can keep you from success. Be confident. You can make your dreams come true. Every goal is possible, and you will win.
