Struggle

Few things we desire come without effort. Some things come easily but there is often push back of some sort when we’re trying to do something new. Like an ongoing tug of war, we press ahead and then something happens that makes us step back a bit. The easy, clear, paved roads we hope for may happen once in a while, but most of the time there will be complications, detours, roadblocks, and trouble. We all want to be successful and stay focused enough to continue forward, even when there are problems ahead. The struggle to accomplish something isn’t always easy, and may at times threaten to overcome us. It can be hard and frustrating, but as we unravel each issue, we learn incredibly valuable lessons that teach us more about ourselves and the world around us. The old saying of “No pain, no gain,” comes into play. As we tumble and twist trying to find the right way ahead, we uncover much knowledge and gain wisdom that enhances us and enriches our understanding. If everything was easy to obtain, there would be little value in the experience. We know what we want, and even if the road to it is rocky and treacherous, filled with all kinds of complications and doubt, we can find our way. We don’t have to look at the whole process at once. We can take the next step and solve one problem at a time. Inch by inch we’ll get closer to the goal and with persistence and determination, will reach our destination. When we get there, we will be stronger and wiser for what we’ve accomplished and will carry all our gained knowledge forward with us. Each time we overcome an obstacle, we gain something. Our lives are a reflection of every experience we have. Every dream is possible and with patience and dedication we can reach great success.

Suppose we had our own individual genie who could grant us anything we desired. At first, it would be exciting filling our lives with all the things we’ve dreamed about. But in time, the thrill would dissipate as we realize gaining everything without earning anything feels hallow. Pushing through complications and solving problems are what bring us great satisfaction and benefit. As we learn and grow, our lives are augmented and enhanced, and we gain greater confidence moving forward.

Trying new things and reaching for new goals always carries some risk. Things will likely go wrong, and because we’re on new ground, we may take a wrong turn, or make a big mistake in judgement. If we don’t want to take any risks, we can try to keep our lives exactly as they are. But staying where we are will never open new horizons. Life is a great blessing. What we do with it is up to us. We have enough courage and wisdom to reach further and see how far we can go. There are unlimited things to learn and with each step we will find great joy in our discoveries.

Today if you’re struggling to get to a new goal, and the road is complicated and difficult, trust yourself. You know what you want and nothing can keep you from it. Every destination is possible and you have everything you need to prevail. Be confident. You are amazing and capable, and every dream can come true. Take another step forward. You will succeed.

One More Rung

Life is a journey that takes us many places and teaches us many things. As we move forward, we decide what we want to do and where we want to go. Some things come easily, but many times we must reach a little further than we’re comfortable, and trust ourselves to make the right choices, even when we’re not sure. No matter how far we go, the road continues forward. There will always be another step to take, and another rung to reach for as we climb. It’s up to us to choose what kind of life we’ll have, what we’ll do, where we’ll go, and how far we’ll travel. The options and possibilities are endless, and if we’re determined, nothing can hold us in place. But first we must decide what we want. We must choose the road ahead ourselves. If we like where we are and don’t want to face challenges or struggles, we can try to keep things the same. Repeating what we’re doing over and over is easy, and requires little energy. However, it’s impossible to learn anything new doing the same things again and again. Life is filled with possibilities and there are endless opportunities for growth and development. If we stand still holding on to what we know, that’s all we’ll learn. We are capable of understanding many things, and every new experience enriches us and teaches us more about the world around us. Even if we’re comfortable where we are, we can reach for one more rung and rise a little higher. As we step up, the view will broaden and deepen our knowledge. Nothing is too difficult for us to manage, and with confidence and clarity, we can move forward toward any goal we desire. The whole world is there for us. We can do anything and reach any destination.

Climbing a mountain is hard work. The path is always angled upward, and when we tire, it takes concentration and determination to continue climbing. Every step takes us closer to the top as we push against gravity and struggle to find our footing. If we don’t stop, we will reach the summit and find great pleasure in the view before us. Accomplishing goals brings us tremendous satisfaction and builds our confidence. By keeping our focus and continuing forward, we can reach any objective and realize great success.

Life offers all kinds of options. If we want to, we can just coast along and see what happens. We might end up in places we like, or we might not. If we’re just going along for the ride and not driving the train, we won’t have a choice of destinations. But our lives are important and every day is valuable. We can think about what we want and then do what is necessary to take us there. Every dream is possible and we can have the lives we want the most. We are powerful and capable, and nothing is beyond our reach.

Today if you’ve been comfortable keeping everything the same, there are countless possibilities waiting for you. Think about what you really want. Your dreams are possible. Decide where you want to go, and take the first step forward. You are strong and powerful, and nothing is too far for you to reach. Be confident. You can reach any goal you desire. Every success is there for you and you will prevail.

Lipstick

Life is unpredictable and things aren’t always what they seem. When we first think about something we want to do and explore our options, it may seem logical and easy to accomplish. But sometimes what looks good at the beginning changes as we move ahead, and what we thought was going to happen doesn’t. As we continue forward, we may discover the destination doesn’t look anything like what we bargained for. Even if we did everything we could before we started, we can’t know what isn’t available, and may face moments of sincere disappointment for the way things end up. We can try to make the best of things when our plans fall through, and everything goes south. We can put on a happy face, and pretend things are better than they. But if you put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig. Life is constantly changing and nothing is permanent. If we end up somewhere we don’t want to be, we don’t have to stay there. We can look at the options possible, decide what we want to do next, and begin again. It doesn’t matter if it’s complicated, or will take a lot of time to rearrange the road ahead.  We deserve complete happiness and if where we are doesn’t bring it, we can move. There will always be other options available, and we can change anything we desire. Sitting tight and hoping somehow things will magically improve will never work. If we want something different, we can go get it. We have all the wisdom and courage to accomplish anything we want. We don’t have to go along to keep things the same, or agree with anything we don’t desire. Our lives belong to us and we can design them however we want. We can step away, choose any path before us, and move toward something else. We already know what we want, and have everything we need to get it.

We can only see what’s visible and there is no way to know what the next turn will bring. Even when we plan carefully, things can go awry and we may end up in foreign territory. There are always unforeseen complications, and sometimes what we couldn’t see takes us someplace far different than we thought we’d reach. If the new destination is appealing and we like the scenery, we can stay. But if we want something different, we can simply move right on through and onto something else.

Some people may encourage us to endure a situation we’re uncomfortable with in the interest of ease or conformity. They may tell us we’ll get used to it and learn to adjust. While it’s true we can adjust to any situation before us, we never have to give up our happiness to make others comfortable. We deserve the best of everything we desire, and with determination and focus, we will achieve it.

Today if the end of the road isn’t what you’re seeking, there are endless other opportunities possible. You never have to settle for what you don’t want. You are intelligent and highly capable, and every dream is possible. If you want something else, change direction and start again. Nothing can keep you from success. You are amazing and strong, and will reach every goal you desire.

This Way or That

We make millions of decisions as we go through our lives. Many of them are minor and don’t have much effect on us, but some are important and powerful. When we’re facing a big decision, we must make sure we choose the path that will take us where we want to go. There will always be a result of every decision we make. Every choice takes us somewhere and if we’re not paying attention or choose badly, we may face serious consequences and end up somewhere we never wanted. Making good decisions requires focus and clarity. We need to understand what we want to gain, and then do what is needed to help us achieve it. When we have all the information we need to choose wisely, the path is easier to find. But there are always complications in life. Other people may influence us because of what they want, or what they think is best for us. Some situations may be fraught with stress and confusion, making it hard to see everything clearly, and we may not have all the information we need to completely understand what’s going on. If we’re unsure how to proceed, we can stop and wait until things settle down and we can see things objectively. We are responsible for every decision we make and by being patient, and taking the time we need to get all the facts, we will find the answers necessary to make the best choice possible. We can pave the road ahead by choosing carefully, and when we do, our journey will be easier. Every answer we need will always be there for us, and we can proceed with confidence and clarity, knowing what we want, and making sure we’re on the right path to achieving it.

If we’re bombarded by someone else’s ideas about what we should do, or pressured to move forward on someone else’s agenda, it may be difficult to make our own decisions. We’re in control of our lives and can always go along with others, even if we’re sure it’s a bad idea, and make the worst possible choice. Or we can stand strong, listen carefully, and despite other suggestions, choose the road that’s best for us moving forward. We know what we want, and with persistence and determination, can reach the goals we most desire.

There are endless roads to travel and unlimited destinations to explore. We can choose where we’ll go, what we’ll do, and what goals we’ll accomplish. The decisions of others belong to them, and we can choose our own paths. We don’t have to follow along, or comply with anyone else’s ideas about what we should do. Our lives belong to us, and we can make every dream come true. By being true to ourselves, and choosing the roads that take us where we most want to go, we will find great satisfaction and contentment.

Today if you’re facing a big decision, and there is pressure to go in a certain direction, trust yourself. You know what you want and have everything you need to succeed. Look at all the possibilities before you and choose the road you want to travel. Your life is yours and you have all the wisdom and courage you need to accomplish any goal. Be confident and step forward. Every dream is possible, and you will win.

Revising the Plan

Life is filled with opportunities and endless chances to learn and grow. We can attempt any challenge and pretty much do anything we want to do. But nobody is perfect and we all have limitations of some sort. We’re capable of doing many different things and accomplishing many goals, but there may be times when what we want to do isn’t workable. It’s true that every destination is possible, but we must determine if we can, and are we’re willing, to do what is needed to reach them. Nobody can be everything to everyone. If the goal requires too much time out of our schedules, more money than we’re comfortable spending, or there are physical demands we can’t meet, we can change our objectives and go another way. If no matter what we do or how we strategize we can’t make things work, we can revise our plans and start again. Nothing is permanent or written in stone. There are endless opportunities available to us and countless goals to reach. We can review our situation clearly, consider every possibility and then decide what we want to do. With careful planning and determination, we can have the lives we dream about. If something is out of reach, we can move toward another goal that will bring us satisfaction and happiness. The chances for success are always there for us. We can choose where we want to go and what we want to do, and then move forward with confidence. Our lives belong to us and we can design them any way we like. Every opportunity is there and once we decide what we want, we can look at all the parameters required to get there, and choose our next steps. We are strong and capable, and can see things clearly. We can choose wisely, and find great success.

While beauty is in the eye of the beholder, if we want to be a super model, we have to be tall. If we’re too short we won’t get the chances we desire. Some goals have specific requirements attached to them, and if we don’t possess those attributes, we will not get the chance to succeed. If we can’t do something we desire, we can find a way to manifest that desire in another arena. There are more opportunities possible than we imagine. We can find success and satisfaction, pushing forward toward every possibility.

Understanding our personal characteristics and accepting our limitations will help us refine the road ahead. We can tailor our goals and advances toward our talents and individual idiosyncrasies. When we work with our unique traits instead of trying to re-invent the wheel, the road will be more accessible and success will come more easily. We can push further and reach farther, and still honor our personal nature. We can accomplish our goals and find great happiness moving forward.

Today if a goal you want to achieve isn’t accessible, think about what you want to accomplish. You are gifted and talented in many ways. Consider all the possible options ahead and decide what you want. The whole world is there for you and you will do incredible things. Be confident and step forward. You are amazing, and you will reach success.
