Blasted

Every single adult has a past. It’s permanent and there is no way to remove anything we’ve ever done or said, or any relationship we’ve ever had. Nobody is perfect and we all do things that later we feel we could have managed better or made a better choice. But life is all about learning and we can only do the best we can at the time in each situation. There is no manual to consult to show us what our decisions may bring. There will be times when we take a wrong turn, say the wrong thing, or do something that brings complications and problems to our lives. We may get involved with someone who takes us down a road that leads to disaster. It happens, but nothing is forever, and we can change direction at any time, and in any place. When we realize we’re going somewhere we don’t want, we can turn around until we’re facing the sun again. We can let go of relationships that are difficult or damaging and move on, but life has a way of looping around, and we might find that despite our best efforts, those involved find their way back to us. It could be by design or chance, but either way, it probably won’t be comfortable. When we’ve changed our journey and have left someone behind to move forward in a new direction, our sights are set on a new road. If they return like a blast from the past and remind us of someplace we’d like to forget, we’ll have to find our way around. History is unchangeable but does not predict the future. We can move forward any way we want and go anywhere we choose. A reminder of where we’ve been is only that. It’s not a command to return to the past. Nothing can keep us from the journey we’ve chosen. We can keep our eyes focused on the road ahead and achieve anything we desire. We know what we want, and with determination and patience, will make it ours.

Sometimes it’s easy to see where our decisions will take us, but other times if the situation is complicated or there are a lot of other people involved, we may have no idea how it will turn out. There are always a lot of variables and sometimes things will go wrong. Bad decisions can stick to us like glue for a while, but as we continue to choose well, they will fade away as we move forward. We are capable of making excellent choices, and as we do, we’ll get closer to the destinations we want the most.

We may have a situation in our past that is so difficult we try to keep it secret. Trying to keep a secret may work, but information has a way of making itself known. Truth will always surface, and when it does, we will find a way to handle it. There is no situation so terrible or difficult we can’t manage it and manage it well. We are strong and have all the courage and wisdom we need to navigate anything.

Today if someone has returned from a difficult time in your past and you are unsettled, trust yourself. You’re on a new road and the past is behind you. Stand strong and look ahead. Every single dream is still there for you and nothing can hold you down. Be confident and sure. You will reach the goal you desire, and claim the prize.

Pierced Through

We build all kinds of relationships as we go through our lives. Our families, our close friends, our treasured associates, and others embellish our lives and we cherish our connections to them. It’s good to have strong, healthy connections with those we value and love. But our interpretation of a relationship may be different from the other’s point of view. They may not feel as close to us as we do to them, or they may have their own ideas about what the relationship can give them. If they are looking to use it to move themselves forward or get something they want, and don’t care about our feelings, they may betray us in ways we never imagined. Being set up or betrayed by someone we trust can be excruciating. It can feel like we’ve been pierced through with something sharp and wicked. We may be so stunned by what they’ve done we can’t move and must stand still until we fully understand what’s happened. Betrayal is a bitter and extremely painful experience. Everything has gone up in smoke and the connection we thought we had has been completely severed. It’s very difficult to repair the damage done. After the fracture, our entire landscape may change, and we may find we’re on completely new ground. It’s a very hard thing to endure, but it gives us valuable information. Once the truth of our relationship has been exposed, we can look at everything clearly and make the best decision for stepping forward. Even if we’ve lost something important, we’ve gained the wisdom and knowledge we need to continue with confidence, sure of the road ahead. We are far stronger and wiser than we imagine, and nothing can hold us in place. With clarity and focus, we will find the way forward and reach success.

When someone hurts us deeply, after we recover from the initial shock and pain, we may set our sights on revenge. They hurt us, so we’ll hurt them right back. It seems fair – they started it after all. But focusing on revenge will take us away from the things we want to accomplish. The time spent coming up with ways to make someone else miserable is time we could be spending on moving closer to the goals we want. By letting it go and pushing forward toward success, we win. We control our future and can achieve anything we desire.

Some people are just rotten. They don’t care who they hurt so long as they get what they want. We’re all accountable for everything we do, and eventually will pay for every choice we make. But when that happens is unknown. It’s hard to watch bad people get ahead and succeed, but their day of reckoning will come. In the meantime, we can focus on our own goals and dreams, and design our lives in ways that bring us great joy and satisfaction. We are powerful and intelligent, and can do anything we desire. Every single blessing is there for us, and we will make them ours.

Today if you’ve been betrayed by someone and are struggling to find the way forward, trust yourself. You are amazing and capable. Nothing can keep you from anything you desire. Look at everything openly and objectively, and choose the road ahead that will take you to success. Every dream is there for you, and you will prevail.

Remember

There are a lot of influences around us all the time. Everyone has their own ideas about life, and everything involved in living it. We all have our own version of how we think things should go and what should happen, are entitled to our own personal viewpoints and can do whatever we want. Influences can be powerful, and there may come a time when those around us are so insistent and persuasive, we forget who we are and follow along. It’s easy to get caught up in situations where there is a lot of pressure to conform, and it can be very difficult to stand our ground when those around us are intensely focused on making us agree. If we bend and go along, we might find we’re headed down a road we never wanted to travel. Everyone is different, and there will be times when we disagree. We’re all different and those differences will create conflict from time to time. We can listen to every idea openly and choose the way forward that’s best for us. People may say all kinds of things to get us onboard with their ideas and beliefs. We can respect and honor their views, and still stay true to who we are and what we want. Nobody can possibly know us better than we know ourselves. Every goal we desire is possible, and we never have to give up our personal journey to go along with someone else’s. If what they want takes us away from the path we want to travel, we can decline and step away. We’re always in control of our own lives. By remembering who we are and what we want the most, we can move forward and reach success. The road ahead will always be there for us. Every dream is waiting and with focus and determination, nothing can keep us from them.

Some people think they have all the answers. They are sure they know not only what they need, but what we need, and what the world needs. They are very confident and can be quite pushy when discussing their personal viewpoints. They are certainly entitled to their own opinions, but so is everyone else. Nobody will ever have all the answers. We can take any advice that’s offered, and use whatever works for us, but our lives are ours to design. We don’t need anyone’s permission or agreement to do anything we want to do. By trusting ourselves and moving toward the goals we want the most, we’ll find great happiness and satisfaction.

Getting caught up in someone else’s plans may take us to a destination we don’t want. Ending up on the wrong road doesn’t mean we have to remain there. If we don’t like where we are, we can move onto someplace else. Nothing is permanent. We can change direction at any time and continue ahead. There is no detour powerful enough to end our journey. By stepping forward with confidence and clarity, we can go anywhere and do anything. Every single destination is possible, and nothing can keep us from success.

Today if you’ve been convinced to follow someone else, stop and decide what you want the most. You are powerful and wise, and nothing can keep you from success. You possess everything you need to win. Your dreams are already there, waiting for you. Choose the road that will take you to them, step forward and claim them.

Keep Climbing

There are unlimited things we can accomplish in our lives. We can achieve any goal we desire and reach any destination before us. The world is filled with opportunities to learn something new, gain new skills, and visit new locations. We can do anything we want. We can set our sights on the goal we want the most and step forward to make it ours. We can’t see the future and although we may do everything possible to plan the journey, there will likely be unexpected developments and complications along the way. But if we remain focused on the road ahead and keep our eyes trained on the destination, we will reach it. Like getting to the top of a high mountain, once we arrive it feels wonderful – we did it! We accomplished what we set out to do. It’s great when we reach the prize, and once we succeed, we may stop for a while taking time to appreciate what we’ve done. We have overcome and won this challenge, but the world is full of mountains and our potential is unlimited. There are more things to do and every road stretches ahead to the next pinnacle. The top of one mountain is just the bottom of the next. We don’t have to climb them all and can be happy where we are, but if we want to reach further and see how far we can go, we can keep climbing and take on the next adventure. Living life fully and pushing ourselves to be more than we are now and opening new doors ahead will bring us great experience and satisfaction. The world is huge, and the possibilities are limitless. By trusting ourselves and going further than we think we can, our lives will be enriched, and we’ll gain a greater understanding of ourselves and the world around us. There is so much to be learned and so many places to go. Every opportunity is there for us, and we can make them ours.

It can be intimidating to step into the unknown. We don’t know what to expect or what we’ll find, and things could go sideways and get dicey. We can always stay exactly where we are, where we’re comfortable and know what’s going on. Keeping our lives small and staying within the bounds of what we know is easy, but there are unlimited blessings waiting for us if we’re willing to take the chance of finding them.

Some goals seem impossible to reach. They may require a lot of planning, or skills we don’t possess and are unsure we could manage. While some destinations are surely harder to reach than others, often we find that once we take the first step the road ahead isn’t as daunting or difficult as we thought it would be. We are far more capable and intelligent than we may realize, and there isn’t anything we can’t accomplish. We can shoot for the moon and reach the stars far beyond.

Today if you’re thinking about a big goal but aren’t sure you can do it, trust yourself. You are amazing and powerful. There isn’t anything you can’t conquer. Every single blessing, and every dream is there for you. Step forward and move toward the destinations you desire. Nothing can keep you from achieving anything. There is great happiness ahead, and you will succeed.

The End is Near

Life is full of challenges and we face new situations every day. There is no way to see the future and the road we’re on may turn and take us someplace entirely unexpected. That might be something fun and interesting or it could turn out to be something that brings great duress and difficulty. We all face trouble from time to time, and when something intensely negative happens that seriously impacts our progress and is filled with complications, we may feel overwhelmed and unable to move. If we’re completely lost and have no idea how to proceed, we may think there is no way we’ll ever survive, and feel like giving up and just surrendering. Of course, we can do anything we like, and if we want to throw our hands up, and run away, we can, but that will give us nothing of value to carry forward. Even if we’re sure the end is near and we’re going down in flames, chances are there are options and possibilities we haven’t yet tried. Nobody has all the answers all the time, but we have everything we need to find the answers we don’t already possess. By trusting ourselves and remembering how capable and strong we are, we will find the way forward. There will never be a situation so terrible and complex we won’t be able to figure it out. If we need help, we can get it. If we need more skills, we can obtain them. Everything necessary to move us ahead will be there for us if we take the time we need to uncover the answers available. We are more powerful than we realize, and with patience and focus, will find our way ahead. Every single destination is possible, and nothing can hold us in place forever. We are perfectly able to unravel every complication and problem before us and reach success.

Everyone has their own opinions about what is possible and how to proceed. They may tell us they doubt we’ll succeed, and know we’ll never be strong enough to conquer the goal. That is their opinion, to which they are completely entitled. But opinions are just that – opinions. They aren’t facts and don’t predict the future. We are in control of what we do and can determine where we’ll go and what we’ll accomplish. Although it would be nice to have agreement and validation when we’re struggling along, we don’t need it to prevail. We know who we are and what we want, and nothing can keep us from success.

Self confidence is important when we’re trying to overcome a difficult challenge. If we don’t believe we will prevail, odds are we won’t. There really isn’t anything we can’t overcome and manage. If we stand strong, no matter what lies before us or how unsettled we feel, and pull on our inner courage and wisdom, nothing can keep us from success. Our lives are ours to design. We can do anything and go anywhere. By believing in ourselves and stepping forward with confidence, every destination will be ours.

Today if you’re facing a very difficult and daunting challenge, and doubt you can succeed, trust yourself. You are stronger and more powerful than you believe. Nothing can hold you in place. Every dream is possible, and you will win.
