At the End

There are endless roads we can take to unlimited destinations. Our lives are a continual process of moving forward, either to somewhere we desire, or someplace else. We can make any choices we like and go anywhere we imagine, and each road we choose will have a destination at the end. If we’re paying attention and making decisions that keep us moving toward the goals we desire, we’ll reach success and find ourselves in situations and places that are pleasing. But life is complicated and there’s always a lot going on. Others may impact us with the decisions they’re making, and the way ahead may get dark and confusing. It’s easy to get distracted and lose our footing, and if time passes before we reset, we may not be able to reclaim our previous position, and have to start again. Every road ends at some point, and when we choose the first step on any path, we are also choosing the last. If we don’t want to end up where it’s leading, we’ll need to step off and re-evaluate our next move. Life is filled with opportunities and if we get lost or turned around, we have endless chances to try again. Every single destination is possible, and with focus and clarity, we can go anywhere we want. Our dreams are always there for us, and we can claim them all.

The world is filled with all kinds of opportunities, and there are lots of shiny things that may grab our attention. The lure and promise of success may pull us in several directions at the same time. We can do anything we like but it’s impossible to do everything we desire all at once. By looking at all the options possible, and deciding on what we want the most, we can begin moving forward toward success. We are wise and extremely capable, and nothing is too difficult for us to overcome. With patience and persistence, we can reach every destination, and find great satisfaction and happiness.

Lots of people may tell us what we should do, where we should go, how we should act, what we should look like, and endless other suggestions. We can take any advice we like, but nobody knows us better than we know ourselves. We know what we want, and have everything needed to achieve it. We don’t have to follow anyone else, or conform to their ideas. Our lives are ours to design, and we can do anything we like. We can choose the roads we’ll travel, and find success.

Today if you’re on a road that isn’t going where you most want to go, stop and decide how you want to proceed. You never have to stay anywhere you don’t want to be. Choose the destination you desire most, and change direction. You are intelligent and wise, and every destination is possible. Be confident and begin again. All your dreams are waiting, and you will make them yours.

Getting Closer

When we’re born, we know nothing of the world. As we grow into childhood, we’re influenced by everything around us. Our families show us what they value, and when we’re young, we often mimic their patterns and beliefs. As the years pass and we’re exposed more and more to different expressions and other ideas we begin to formulate how we want to live, and who we want to be. Every experience changes us a little, and each choice takes us somewhere. If we know what we want and where we want to go, we can choose roads that will take us closer to the destinations we desire but understanding who we are and what we want takes time. There are endless possibilities and much to experience. We evolve and develop as each day passes, and if we’re focused on the journey ahead, we’ll get closer to the person we most want to be. But life is filled with distractions and detours. It’s easy to let situations or others determine our next steps. If we don’t know what we want or where we want to go, we may simply follow those around us to wherever they are headed. We’re all in control of our lives and can decide how we’ll live them and what kind of influence we’ll have on the world around us. If we simply coast along, it’s unlikely we’ll ever achieve what we want the most. There is no way to get to the destinations we desire if we sit back and let someone else drive. Deciding what we want is the first step toward success. Once we know where we want to go, we can plan the journey ahead and do what is necessary to succeed. Each step forward will take us closer to what we want, and if we’re persistent and determined, nothing can keep us from achieving anything we desire. Every dream is possible, and nothing is out of reach. We can become the people we want to be and have the lives we desire most.

Every destination is there for us, but we must focus on the goal and do what is needed to reach it. If we get distracted by every shiny possibility along the way, it’s unlikely we’ll succeed. It’s impossible to move forward if we keep turning left and right to check out something new, or loop around to watch someone else. By keeping our eyes on the goal, we can share our lives with those around us, enjoy interesting things along the way, and still continue moving ahead.

We’re all defined by many adjectives – brother, sister, son, daughter, mother, father, cousin, co-worker, etc. All of these tell the world a little about us but who we are as individuals is more than these designations. Every decision we make, and every step we take, indicates who we are and what we stand for. We can change direction at any time and alter our course whenever we desire. How we’ll interact with the world around us, and who we’ll become is up to us. Everything is possible and we will succeed.

Today if you’ve been unsure about where you want to go, think about what you want the most. Every destination is there for you. Decide how you want to proceed and step forward with confidence. You have everything you need to do anything you desire. The whole world is wide open, and nothing can keep you from success.

Square Peg

Everyone is different and we all see things from our own perspectives. Our lives are shaped by the experiences we have and as we move forward, each experience colors the way we see things and how we want to proceed. There is no one perfect way to live life. We have endless opportunities to do anything we like, and can design our lives any way we choose. When we’re true to our own personal needs and desires, we can find great satisfaction and happiness. But there are lots of other people around us all the time, and if they have influence over us, we may be tempted to choose what they think is best instead of listening to our own inner voice. It’s certainly easier to let others plot our course and simply follow along, but sitting in the back seat will never put us in control of where we’re headed. Going along with someone else’s ideas about what we should be doing will only take us where they want us to go, which may be far from the destinations we desire most. Someone else’s destination is just that – someone else’s. It’s like trying to force a square peg into a round hole. It’s never going to fit. We know who we are and what we want, and nothing is powerful enough to keep us from the goals we want most. We don’t have to assimilate into what others are doing or conform to anyone’s ideas about our lives. We are in complete control of our own destinies. Every road is there for us and nothing is out of reach. By stepping forward and choosing our own journey, we will reach every destination with confidence and clarity. We can have the lives we desire most, and every dream is possible.

Some people are very confident and think they know how to live in the best ways. They may give us suggestions and direction for moving forward, telling us they know what we need. We can listen to any advice we get, but one thing is certain – nobody knows us better than we know ourselves. We already know what we want, and have all the wisdom and courage needed to achieve any goal we desire. Every destination is waiting for us, and we will reach them.

We may be pressured by family or friends to do things a certain way that works for them and makes their lives easier. It’s good to be helpful, but we don’t have to give up everything to get along. There isn’t anyone else like us in all of creation, and the paths we choose are specific and unique to our own personal desires. We can value our relationships and still hold onto our own identities. Being true to who we really are and moving toward the goals we want the most will bring us lasting happiness and fulfillment. We deserve every blessing, and with determination and focus, we can make them ours.

Today if you’ve been putting your own ideas on hold and going along with those around you, remember how incredible and unique you are. You bring great light and joy to the world, and every gift is there for you. Decide what you want the most, and step forward and claim it. Nothing can keep you from your dreams. They’re all there for you, and you will make them yours.

Along the Way

As we go through our lives there will likely be times when we badly want to accomplish something in particular. If we’re intensely interested in getting to the goal, it may consume our thoughts, and we may try to manipulate every step we take in order to move closer to it. We may become obsessed with getting there, and concentrate solely on what we need to do next to move forward. It’s good to be focused on the goals we want to accomplish but every day is a blessing, and as we push ahead, there will be other things going on. There will rarely be a time when we are only working on one thing. Most often, other areas and aspects of our lives will need our attention, and there will always be unexpected developments that require our consideration. If we only focus on the goal we’re seeking, we may brush other things off that happen along the way, and see them as distractions instead of opportunities. We are learning with each step we take and as we manage each issue, we gain new skills to carry forward. The road ahead is important, but there are other benefits we’re gaining as we move along. No matter what road we’re on, we’ll have lots of experiences along the way that open our vision a little more, and teach us something new. If we rush forward, focused only on our goal, we will miss the richness gained by embracing each step and learning all we can. Every goal is possible, and we already have everything we need to do anything we desire. We can trust ourselves to reach success, and still be involved in the world around us. There are unlimited blessings waiting for us, and we can have the lives we dream about.

Only concentrating on the road ahead might help us move forward a little more quickly, but tunnel vision prevents us from seeing what’s going on around us right now. If we ignore our relationships, thinking we’ll just set them aside until we reach success and then go back to them, we might find that when we go back, there is nothing there. Neglect can ruin connections and we might lose a precious bond pushing ahead. Good, strong relationships embellish our lives and bring us great satisfaction. We can keep our eyes on the goal we desire, and still make our personal connections a priority. If we do, we’ll find great success in all areas of our lives.

Each day we learn something new. We pick up a little more information about where we are and what we’re doing, and learn more about those around us and our place in the world. Being present for today instead of thinking only of tomorrow, will open our minds to every opportunity and help us open new doors ahead. Each day is a blessing, and by paying attention, not just to our personal goals, but to everything happening around us, our lives will be rich and fulfilling.

Today if you’re intent on reaching a goal, and are focused on your next step ahead, look up and see every opportunity around you. Today is the most important day of your life. It’s the only day you can live right now. Move toward the destinations you desire while embracing the world around you now. You are incredible and capable, and every goal is already there for you. Success is yours, and you will have it.

Phony Baloney

There are all kinds of people in the world. We get to know them as we spend time with them and they reveal more of who they are and where they’re headed. Our lives are often enriched by the differences we encounter, even when those differences are hard for us to comprehend. When we’re honest about who we are others respect us, even if they don’t agree with us. It’s easy to be genuine and express our true feelings when those around us are similar and we fit the current model. But there is unending variety in the world, and if we’re in a group where we’re very different than the customary norm, we may be hesitant to show our true colors. We might even pretend we’re something we’re not as a way of gaining approval. We can do anything we like, but if we profess to be different than what is real, we may dig ourselves into a deep hole as we try to keep the facade believable. Being accepted may seem like a good goal, but achieving it through misrepresentation may backfire in the end. It’s exhausting to try and maintain deception indefinitely, and impossible to keep it going forever. The truth will come out in time, and when it does, if we’ve been dishonest, what we’ve done will impact the trust others have for us. We don’t have to fit anyone else’s idea of what is acceptable. Our unique contribution, no mater how different it may be, is valuable and worthwhile. If others require us to conform to their views in order to be part of the group, we can walk away. Nothing is more important than our own personal honesty. No one else in the entire world can offer the gifts we have to share. We can be confident in who we are, and find great success.

Some people struggle with confidence, and in an effort to make things easier will simply go along with whatever those around them are doing. It’s a lot easier to ride along in the back seat than to take the wheel and choose the way forward. We can always coast and let others make choices for us. It’s easy to get along when we agree with everything that’s being said and done. But if we only do what everyone else decides, we will never be able to express our true desires or get the life we want the most. Nobody knows us better than we know ourselves. We have everything we need to make excellent choices, and all our dreams are possible.

We only get one chance to live our lives. Time flies by on wings of lightening and each day is priceless. What we do with our time, and the choices we make determine the life we get. We are important and can do anything we desire. We can express our true feelings in every situation and honestly face whatever may come. There is no need for phony baloney. We are powerful and capable, and every destination is there for us.  We can trust ourselves to choose wisely, and accomplish any goal we want. We are amazing, and a true gift to the world.

Today if you’ve been pretending to be something you aren’t in an effort to be accepted, remember you are unique and priceless. There isn’t anyone else exactly like you in all of creation. Be yourself and show us who you are. You are a gift to us all, and the whole world is blessed because you are here.
