Willing to See

There are all kinds of people in the world. They come in and out of our lives, we build relationships with them, we love them, we dislike them, we ignore them, we collaborate with them, and interact with them in endless ways. We will make all kinds of connections with lovers, family members, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. Every relationship has its benefits and its challenges, but if we trust those involved, we may feel confident that they are being truthful and clear with us. But people are complex, and sometimes may be deceptive or outright lie to us for their own reasons. If we’ve had a strong relationship with them, or love them, and things are just not adding up, we may investigate the situation further. We can always uncover the truth, but we must be willing to see everything as it really stands. If we’re afraid we might discover some deception that will impact our relationship, we can always simply continue on and refuse to look. But truth cannot be hidden forever, and will always rise. It’s disappointing and can be heartbreaking to discover someone we trust has deceived us, but it’s always best to get the facts and know exactly what is happening, and where we stand. Whether we acknowledge it or not, the true reality of every situation exists. If we know all the details, even the ones that are painful, we will better be able to decide how to proceed. We are our best advocate. By courageously uncovering every hidden factor, and laying open every detail, we will know how we want to move forward. We are intelligent and wise, and can be proactive and clear. We know what we want, and once we get all the facts, will be able to proceed toward success.

There is an old saying that, “What we don’t know can’t hurt us,” but that isn’t true. If we are being misled or are blindly following someone we admire without checking the facts, we may be seriously hurt in the end. It can be hard to believe those we love and trust may deceive us or manipulate us, but that can happen. There is no need to be suspicious of every interaction, but we can keep our eyes open and listen carefully to what’s being said, and look at what’s being done. Nothing can fool us forever, and we have all the wisdom we need to uncover the truth in every situation. 

Beautiful people and shiny, new things are very attractive. When we’re intensely drawn to something or someone, it can be hard to see everything that’s going on. The salesman at the Ferrari dealership may be able to convince us we can afford the exorbitant payments, because we are mesmerized by how gorgeous the car is. The same is true with people. If we are blinded by their outward beauty, we may fail to see what they’re really like and get caught up in a situation that hurts us in the end. We are smart and capable, and by stepping back for a moment, and taking time to see everything, we will be able to make the best choice moving forward.

Today if you’re unsure about something someone is telling you, take the time you need to find the truth. You are worth more than you can imagine, and deserve every happiness. Take your time, get the facts, and step forward with confidence. Every single blessing is there for you, and with clarity and focus, you can design the life you want the most. Trust yourself. Every success awaits, and you will make them yours.

Holding Fast

The world is a big place with endless things to do and people to meet.  Although we all have our own ideas about what we want to do, there are lots of shiny things and interesting ideas that may distract us. We are inundated with ads and campaigns. encouraging us to do this or do that, go here or go there, and they all look appealing and perfect. Everyone in every ad is happy and smiling and the promise is if we buy what they’re selling, we’ll be happy too. We can do anything we like and can follow any lead, but if we forsake what we want most for what is attractive at the moment, we will never reach our goal. We can jump from one idea to the next and always try the latest fad and we will get lots of experiences, but it’s unlikely they will move us forward. If we want to succeed at anything we desire, we must hold fast to the road ahead and keep our eyes focused on the goal. Just because something looks good on the outside doesn’t always mean it’s what’s good for us. We know who we are and what we want, and with determination we can reach any goal we desire. The world is a big, beautiful place and there will always be something new to try. By carefully deciding how we’ll proceed and doing what is needed to move forward, nothing can keep us from success. We are intelligent and wise, and we will prevail.

Everyone has their own opinions about things. Someone may disagree with our plans and tell us we should do something different. Maybe they think the goal is too lofty and unreachable. Maybe they are jealous because they don’t believe they could achieve it. It doesn’t matter what their motivations are. We are strong and capable, and don’t need them to agree with our decisions before we move ahead. Our lives are ours to design and nobody knows what we want better than we do. Every single destination is possible, and we have everything we need to succeed.

Life is complex and we never know what will happen next. Sometimes things develop that keep us from moving forward. There may be problems, complications, or issues that arise that prevent us from focusing on our own personal goals for a time. Just because we can’t do something right now doesn’t mean we can’t do it later. We can set the goal aside until things settle, and then return and start again. The goal will still be there waiting, and with patience and diligence, we will reach it.

Today if you’ve been distracted from the road you want to travel, think about how you want to proceed and start again. Detours and complications may delay the journey but they don’t end it. We can achieve anything we desire. Decide how you want to continue and step forward. You are amazing and powerful, and every goal is possible. Nothing is out of reach and you can get the life you dream of.

Getting Closer

When we’re born, we know nothing of the world. As we grow into childhood, we’re influenced by everything around us. Our families show us what they value, and when we’re young, we often mimic their patterns and beliefs. As the years pass and we’re exposed more and more to different expressions and other ideas we begin to formulate how we want to live, and who we want to be. Every experience changes us a little, and each choice takes us somewhere. If we know what we want and where we want to go, we can choose roads that will take us closer to the destinations we desire but understanding who we are and what we want takes time. There are endless possibilities and much to experience. We evolve and develop as each day passes, and if we’re focused on the journey ahead, we’ll get closer to the person we most want to be. But life is filled with distractions and detours. It’s easy to let situations or others determine our next steps. If we don’t know what we want or where we want to go, we may simply follow those around us to wherever they are headed. We’re all in control of our lives and can decide how we’ll live them and what kind of influence we’ll have on the world around us. If we simply coast along, it’s unlikely we’ll ever achieve what we want the most. There is no way to get to the destinations we desire if we sit back and let someone else drive. Deciding what we want is the first step toward success. Once we know where we want to go, we can plan the journey ahead and do what is necessary to succeed. Each step forward will take us closer to what we want, and if we’re persistent and determined, nothing can keep us from achieving anything we desire. Every dream is possible, and nothing is out of reach. We can become the people we want to be and have the lives we desire most.

Every destination is there for us, but we must focus on the goal and do what is needed to reach it. If we get distracted by every shiny possibility along the way, it’s unlikely we’ll succeed. It’s impossible to move forward if we keep turning left and right to check out something new, or loop around to watch someone else. By keeping our eyes on the goal, we can share our lives with those around us, enjoy interesting things along the way, and still continue moving ahead.

We’re all defined by many adjectives – brother, sister, son, daughter, mother, father, cousin, co-worker, etc. All of these tell the world a little about us but who we are as individuals is more than these designations. Every decision we make, and every step we take, indicates who we are and what we stand for. We can change direction at any time and alter our course whenever we desire. How we’ll interact with the world around us, and who we’ll become is up to us. Everything is possible and we will succeed.

Today if you’ve been unsure about where you want to go, think about what you want the most. Every destination is there for you. Decide how you want to proceed and step forward with confidence. You have everything you need to do anything you desire. The whole world is wide open, and nothing can keep you from success.
