Worth the Time

There are unlimited things we can do with our time. We can play video games, watch TV, visit family and friends, volunteer to help others, or anything else we like. How much time we spend on an activity often equates to the value we place on it. If we really want to get to the next level in a video game, we may sit and play for hours on end.  We decide how we’ll spend our days and what we’ll accomplish. Many things of little worth are easy to accomplish and we may fly through them without a thought. But if we want to do something extraordinary, something that will build a wonderful memory and stay with us and we move forward, we must be willing to put time and effort into it.  Nothing worthwhile comes easily.  Planning a big dinner with friends and family takes a lot of work and preparation. But the time we spend enjoying each other over good food and great conversation can bring us cherished memories that will last a lifetime. We get one shot as we move through our lives. Time is a commodity that can never be replaced.  Once it’s gone it’s gone forever. If we waste our time on things that bring little value, we’ll have little to show for the time we invested. Only we can determine what is worthwhile and what we want to do. Getting the lives we want the most is always possible, but it won’t come just because we desire it. We must define what is most important, and then do what is needed to make it ours. Life is an incredible blessing. What we do with it is completely up to us.

We are constantly bombarded with suggestions about how we should live and what we should do. The world is filled with all kinds of things we can do and endless places we could visit. There are unlimited distractions that may pull us away from what we really want, and if we try to consider them all, chances are we’ll ending standing in place and doing nothing. By focusing on what we really want to do and keeping our eyes on the road ahead, we can accomplish any goal we desire. We have all the wisdom and intelligence we need to design our lives in ways that bring us great satisfaction and happiness.

We are capable of doing anything and going anywhere. Some things will require a lot of time and planning, and at first may seem impossible to achieve.  Nothing is off limits or out of reach. If we’re determined and do what is necessary to move closer to our dreams, we can make them ours. Every destination awaits, and everything is there for us.  By keeping our eyes focused on the road ahead, and pushing forward, we will reach every goal.  We can do anything and design our lives any way we choose.  Great happiness is possible, and we can make it ours.

Today if you’ve been standing around thinking about what you want to do, choose what you want the most and step forward. Be confident and trust yourself. There isn’t anything you can’t accomplish. All your dreams are waiting and you can make them yours. Begin the journey now, and claim them.

Who’s In Charge

There are lots of people in our lives. Everyone is unique and they all have their own ideas about how things should go. If they are very confident they know what’s right, they may share their opinions with those around them, whether they ask for them or not. Those who are loud and confident may press us into following them and doing what they say. If we let them, they may take control of our decisions and we may end up far from where we want to go. It can be hard to stand up to someone in authority whose ideas are different than our own. We may start out going along just to keep the peace, but if we continue to follow along, we may end up simply making choices without thinking. Every road has a destination and we’ll eventually end up wherever it leads. Chances are we’ll be fine whatever happens, but being fine isn’t the same thing as being happy. It doesn’t matter what those around us want, and it doesn’t matter where they think we should go. We are in control of our lives, and when we’re ready, can take charge of the journey and move toward what we want the most. Our lives are ours to design. We don’t have to do anything like anyone else. We can choose where we want to go, and then do what is necessary to reach every destination. There is greatness in us all, and with focus and determination, we can have the lives we want the most.

The influence of family can be great. There may be intense pressure to keep certain traditions and do things that are agreeable to everyone. We can certainly do anything we like, and if we want to avoid conflict, can keep a low profile and just do as requested. We own every decision we make and are responsible for our own happiness. If we want something different, we can have it. We can be polite and honor the decisions of others, and then make our own choices. Every dream is possible, and when we’re ready, nothing can hold us in place.

Life is like a box of crayons. Just like all the colors, there are many different ideas and expressions possible. Everyone doesn’t have to be blue, or red to fit in. We can express our own individual desires and dreams, and choose the roads we want the most. Our differences bring great richness and depth to our lives. We’re in control of our own destinies, and can reach any goals we desire.

Today if you’re being pressured to follow someone else’s road, remember how unique and extraordinary you are. You bring great light and blessing to the world just as you are. Decide what you want the most, and begin your journey. Be confident and strong. You are amazing and powerful, and every success is there for you.

Uncovering

Our lives are a reflection of our choices. Every decision we make takes us somewhere and changes our path in some way. We can’t predict anything and sometimes our decisions take us places we never dreamed we’d go. There is no way to see around the next turn or know what others will do. Even when we try to choose well, sometimes our plans go up in smoke. If we take the time to look at all the options before us, and determine which will work before we begin, we’ll have a better chance of reaching success. There are endless sources of information and we are often bombarded with ideas and suggestions from every direction. Some people think they know what we need and may try to influence us to follow their lead. Others may purposely mislead us in an effort to achieve something for themselves. Believing whatever we hear is fraught with trouble. The loudest voice and brightest light don’t always lead us where we want to go. The first options that appear may not be our best choice. If we are eager to move forward, we may jump ahead without looking, and that might work out for us, or may take us in the wrong direction. Instead of rushing ahead, we can take some time to uncover the truth in every situation and see the best road ahead. The paved, clear path that’s been well traveled may look good, but easy access doesn’t always lead to success. Following everyone else will only take us where they’re going. By deciding what we want the most and then taking the time we need to find the best way forward, we can reach any goal or destination. We are intelligent and can make excellent decisions. We know what we want, and with patience and clarity, we can uncover all the facts, and reach every destination.

If we’re in a situation that isn’t what we want, and we aren’t happy, we can decide how we will proceed. We can choose to stay and complain, and do nothing to change it, or we can decide what we really want, and then take the first step forward. Being in the same place for a long time doesn’t mean we have to stay there forever. Our lives are ours to design, and we can change anything at any time. We deserve complete happiness, and when we’re ready, we can achieve it. Every blessing is always there for us. Nothing can keep us from success.

Some people are very persuasive. They know what to say and how to say it to get others to follow them. We may fall under their spell and end up somewhere we don’t want to be. We have everything we need to uncover the truth in any situation. We can listen politely, and then investigate the facts until we discover what is real. We never have to go along with anything we don’t want, and with purpose and intent, can control every decision we make, and reach our goals.

Today if you’re being pressured to follow along, look at everything openly and objectively. Uncover the truth of the situation and make the best choice moving forward. There is great success waiting for you and nothing can keep you from it. Be confident, and stand strong. You are more powerful and wise than you imagine, and you will prevail.

Candy Coated

There are billions of people on the planet earth. They come in and out of our lives continually and as we interact with them, our connections may be positive, negative or somewhere in between. Everyone thinks they are good judges of character and some of us can spot phony baloney from 30 paces. But it isn’t always easy to recognize someone who is pretending to be something they aren’t. If someone wants something from us and doesn’t care how they manipulate us to get it, they may be very good actors. They may look the part, say all the right things, and convince us they are on our side when the truth may be very different. If we take a spoonful of mustard and freeze it, then roll it in a ball and dip it in chocolate, we could set it in a box of chocolate bon bons and it would blend right in. Nobody would know it wasn’t a delicious fudge filled truffle until they actually took a bite and got a mouthful of bitter, strong mustard. Candy coating can cover a lot of blemishes and can hide what lies inside. Flattering words, considerate gestures, and smiling agreement can make us believe something that isn’t real. We are intelligent and if we dig just a little deeper and scatch the surface a little more, we will get more information that will help us understand the situation as it really is instead of how it appears to be. People will do what they will do, but we are in control of our lives and can be wise as we move forward. We are extremely capable and smart. Nothing can fool us indefinitely and we will uncover the truth. By taking our time to see everything clearly, we can make excellent decisions, and build strong connections that will lead us to success.

It’s very pleasing to have someone else’s admiration. When they tell us we’re brilliant, or beautiful, or look at us with unwavering devotion we may be swept away. It all looks so wonderful, and it might be. But there are opposites in everything and we may face a time when someone we thought was angelic turns out to be the devil himself. Okay, maybe not THE devil, but someone who is intentionally leading us astray in an effort to get us to do something or take something from us. Nobody can do anything perfectly, and even the most practiced liar will stumble. If we don’t get caught up and pay attention, we will see things as they truly are, and be able to make wise decisions about our next step.

Most people are good and it’s good to trust those around us. We don’t have to be suspicious of everyone’s motivations, but we can keep our eyes open and listen carefully. Nobody is going to look out for us like we look out for ourselves. Truth is powerful. It can be hidden for a time but it cannot be help back forever. We are intelligent and wise, and with patience and focus, we will discover it, and find success.

Today if you have doubts about someone near you, trust your instincts. Look for the truth in every interaction. You are wiser and more powerful than you imagine, and will find the best way forward. Every single blessing is waiting for you, and every destination is possible. Be strong and stand firm. Step forward with clarity, and take charge. All your dreams are there, and you can make them yours.

At the End

There are endless roads we can take to unlimited destinations. Our lives are a continual process of moving forward, either to somewhere we desire, or someplace else. We can make any choices we like and go anywhere we imagine, and each road we choose will have a destination at the end. If we’re paying attention and making decisions that keep us moving toward the goals we desire, we’ll reach success and find ourselves in situations and places that are pleasing. But life is complicated and there’s always a lot going on. Others may impact us with the decisions they’re making, and the way ahead may get dark and confusing. It’s easy to get distracted and lose our footing, and if time passes before we reset, we may not be able to reclaim our previous position, and have to start again. Every road ends at some point, and when we choose the first step on any path, we are also choosing the last. If we don’t want to end up where it’s leading, we’ll need to step off and re-evaluate our next move. Life is filled with opportunities and if we get lost or turned around, we have endless chances to try again. Every single destination is possible, and with focus and clarity, we can go anywhere we want. Our dreams are always there for us, and we can claim them all.

The world is filled with all kinds of opportunities, and there are lots of shiny things that may grab our attention. The lure and promise of success may pull us in several directions at the same time. We can do anything we like but it’s impossible to do everything we desire all at once. By looking at all the options possible, and deciding on what we want the most, we can begin moving forward toward success. We are wise and extremely capable, and nothing is too difficult for us to overcome. With patience and persistence, we can reach every destination, and find great satisfaction and happiness.

Lots of people may tell us what we should do, where we should go, how we should act, what we should look like, and endless other suggestions. We can take any advice we like, but nobody knows us better than we know ourselves. We know what we want, and have everything needed to achieve it. We don’t have to follow anyone else, or conform to their ideas. Our lives are ours to design, and we can do anything we like. We can choose the roads we’ll travel, and find success.

Today if you’re on a road that isn’t going where you most want to go, stop and decide how you want to proceed. You never have to stay anywhere you don’t want to be. Choose the destination you desire most, and change direction. You are intelligent and wise, and every destination is possible. Be confident and begin again. All your dreams are waiting, and you will make them yours.
