Far Away

Life is full of possibilities and every decision we make takes us somewhere. There are endless roads to travel and we decide what we want to do and where we want to go. We do our best to make good decisions, but we can never see the end of the road from the beginning, and sometimes we may end up going somewhere we didn’t expect and don’t want. Unless we live on a deserted island all by ourselves (unlikely), there will always be others around us giving advice and telling us what they think we should do. They may influence us and we might choose what they suggest that seems good at first but doesn’t turn out the way we want it to. We are always in control of our lives and can do anything we like, but if we’re easily swayed by the decisions of those around us, we might find ourselves heading toward a destination we do not want. It’s easy to follow others. We can let them pave the road ahead and mimic their steps moving forward. But following someone else’s journey will never take us where we want to go. We may end up far away from the destinations we truly desire, and find ourselves in places we never wanted to visit. If we find we’re headed in the wrong direction, we can stop, and review all the options possible. Then we can decide what we want to do, and step on a new road that will take us to success. With focus and clarity, we can chart the road ahead and go anywhere we desire. Every destination is there for us, and we already possess everything we need to reach them. Our lives are ours to design. We can do whatever is needed to get the lives we want the most, and find complete happiness and success.

Every journey begins with the first step forward. After we decide what we want to do, we can begin moving and plan for success. We can only see what’s just ahead and there is no way to predict what complications or problems may arise. The first step is important, but it doesn’t freeze us in place. We are not required to continue on any road if it turns and is headed somewhere we don’t want to go. There are endless possibilities and we can stop and take another path at any time. We determine our own destiny, and can do anything we desire.

It’s easy to live our lives on auto-pilot. We get into a routine and go through the motions one after the other, and before we know it lots of time has gone by and we’re far away from the destinations we want the most. To get the lives we desire most, we have to choose our destinations and live purposely focused on getting there. We can do anything we like but living on purpose takes attention. If we only coast through, and don’t design our journey forward, it will be impossible to achieve our dreams. Nothing can keep us from the destinations we desire most but ourselves. Every option is possible and we can achieve great happiness and satisfaction.

Today if you’re nowhere near where you want to be, look at all the possibilities and decide how you want to proceed. All your dreams are possible and with determination and clarity, you can make them yours. Decide what you want and step forward with confidence. You are amazing and powerful, and can have the life you desire most.

What He Said

Everyone has their own ideas and opinions about the world and what we should be doing. We’re all unique, and there will always be differences and variations on a theme. We’ll rarely be in a situation where everyone agrees with everything that’s going on. Every viewpoint has value and we can choose our own way forward, while still honoring and respecting the ideas of those around us. If we’re unsure about how we feel about something, instead of waiting until we have all the information we need to form our own opinion, when asked, we may simply say, “What he said,” and go along with whatever those around us believe. We may agree without all the facts simply because it’s easier, and we don’t want to rock the boat. Going along to get along might make things go more smoothly at first, but may take us somewhere we don’t want to go. It’s our responsibility to design our own lives and make our own decisions. Leaning on someone else will never help us become the people we really want to be, or take us to the destinations we desire most. We can always coast along for as long as we like. We can let others decide what is right and do what they tell us to do. But being a puppet on someone else’s string will never bring us complete happiness or satisfaction. We are smart enough and strong enough to direct our own lives. We don’t have to remain in a tide rushing toward a shore we haven’t chosen. By deciding what we want most, and choosing the way forward to achieve our goals, we can have the lives we dream about. When we take control, nothing can keep us from success. Every single dream is there for us, and we can make them all ours.

It takes courage to stand up for what we believe in, especially if those around us have differing views. We own our own ideas and opinions, and they are valuable and worthwhile. We don’t need the approval of others, or permission to live our lives any way we choose. There are unlimited goals to reach and limitless places to go. By choosing what we want the most and standing firm in our decisions, we can accomplish anything. We can swim against the tide and live our lives according to our own values and desires. Nothing is out of reach, and we will prevail.

It can be hard to stand up to those who are forceful and loud about their preferences and ideas. They may press us to conform and follow along, and we may feel pressure to comply. But our lives belong to us alone, and we never have to do anything we don’t want to do. We can listen to other viewpoints, respectfully and calmly express our own opinions, and step onto our own roads moving ahead. All options are possible and every destination is there waiting for us. By trusting ourselves, and choosing our own path, we will reach every goal, and achieve complete happiness.

Today if those around you are telling you what to do and how to feel, remember your ideas and opinions are valuable. You can follow your own voice, and choose your own way forward. The whole world is there for you, and every dream is possible. Have faith in yourself. The destinations you want are waiting for you. You are amazing and will reach every success you desire. You can make all your dreams come true.

Just Waiting

We all have dreams about how we want our lives to go, and specific things we want to accomplish. If we want something to happen, we must define what is required to get there, and then do what is needed to make it ours. Some things are easy to accomplish but others are more elusive and if we don’t see an obvious road to get them, we may think we can’t do anything to make them ours. We may believe it’s all up to fate and simply wait to see what happens. We might even believe that if we’re good, if we follow the rules and are kind and considerate, what we desire will magically come to us. While doing things well will open lots of doors and build strong alliances and relationships, it won’t guarantee the things we desire will come to pass. We have control over all our own choices and behaviors, and can do many things to reach success. If something we desire hasn’t happened, instead of just waiting around for it and hoping somehow it will appear, we can look at it objectively and see what we can do to bring it to us. There are few things we can’t accomplish if we’re willing to do what is required to achieve them. Staying in the same place will only guarantee we’ll have the same experiences. If we want something else, we’ll have to step away from what is common and reach into the unknown. Everything is possible, and nothing is out of reach. We can decide what we want, and then go get it. We can make our dreams come true and have the lives we desire. By being confident and trusting ourselves, we can make the decisions necessary to create the situations we desire most. Everything is possible, and we have all we need to succeed.

Everywhere we go opportunities will be available, but they won’t be the same kind of opportunities. What’s available in a large metropolitan city will be different than what’s possible in a tiny town off the beaten path. Understanding where we are and what’s possible will help us determine our next steps to get to the goal. If we can’t make it happen where we are, we don’t have to just wait to see if things will change. We can move. We are never stuck in any situation any longer than we choose to be. We are in control of our lives and can do what is needed to reach any goal, and have the lives we desire most.

Timing is important in everything we do. There may be moments when we can’t move ahead and the doors we need to open are unavailable. During those times, working harder and pushing further will not move the needle. But change is constant and nothing stays the same forever. We can be patient, and stand still until our situation changes. In time, everything will resolve, and we’ll be able to move forward toward the goal. Everything is possible and with determination and focus, we can make all our dreams come true.

Today if there are things keeping you from your goal, look at everything objectively. There will be a way forward. Step onto a new road that leads to your desired destination. You are intelligent and wise, and nothing is out of reach. See everything clearly, and you will reach your goal. Nothing can keep you from success.

Another Day

Life is long and we may spend decades here on earth experiencing one thing and another. Every day brings something new, and no matter how old we are, or how far we’ve traveled, we will never see everything or comprehend all there is to know. Every life is different, and are the expression of choices we make. We may choose a simple life where we don’t venture too far from what is familiar, or we might be adventurous, always pushing the limits of what we can do and where we can go. Our lives are ours to design but no matter what we choose, each day when the sun rises, what we accomplish is up to us. It’s a new beginning with boundless possibilities and nothing is out of reach. We might think the life we have now is fixed, and where we are is where we’re destined to stay, but that will never be true. Just because we’ve been in the same place for a while, doesn’t mean we have to stay there indefinitely. If we’re happy where we are, we can stay there and continue on. But if we want something more, we can look at all the options available, which are endless, and make another choice. We are never restricted in place, and can change anything at any time. We don’t need permission or agreement to design our own lives any way we like. Every single day is an enormous gift. It’s ours to live and we can choose any path, and any destination we like. Nothing is off limits. If we’re willing to do what is necessary to get there, we can have the lives we dream about. Everything is possible. We already know what we want. We are smart enough and have all the courage we need to achieve anything we desire. By stepping forward with clarity and confidence, we can go anywhere, and do anything.

It’s easy to live on auto-pilot. We can simply go through the motions, get our tasks done, and take things as they come. We can sit in the back seat, and let those around us decide what we’ll do and where we’ll go. It’s certainly easier to let others make our decisions, but if we don’t control our lives, we will never do what we desire most. Nobody knows us better than we know ourselves. The smartest person in the world will never have any idea what we really want. By taking control of our decisions and choosing the roads we’ll travel, we can achieve any goal, and go anywhere.

Others may have opinions about how we should live our lives. If we want to change, they may tell us we’re fine where we are, and encourage us to continue doing what we’re doing. Opinions belong to those who have them, and never have control over us. We never have to conform to someone else’s ideas or follow those around us. We can chart our own course, and move toward any goal we desire. All options are there for us, and we can do anything. We can make all our dreams come true, and achieve complete happiness.

Today, think about what you want the most and make a plan to get there. Take the first step toward your dreams, and move forward with confidence. You are amazing and powerful, and nothing is too far to reach. Trust yourself. Nothing can keep you from success. Take the first step forward, and every dream will be yours.

Holding It In

Everyone is different and we all have our own opinions about how things should go and what we should do. There are endless ideas about everything that happens and those differences bring great depth to our experience and help us understand the world. But differences can also cause conflict, especially if someone believes they have the right answers and refuses to listen to any other option. If we must work with them and have a different idea for moving forward, we may struggle to express our viewpoint. Conflict is a normal part of life and can be challenging. If we remain silent, things may be easier, but keeping our ideas to ourselves prevents others from hearing another option. We are important and our contributions are valuable. We can be confident in speaking up and offering new ideas and different methods to accomplish any goal. We are capable and intelligent, and offer a unique perspective that can augment and enrich the way ahead. Every idea has worth, and being open and sharing our impressions and thoughts will bring refreshment and a new point of view that may unlock new doors. There is no way to know what suggestion will turn the tide and pave the way ahead. If we keep our thoughts to ourselves, they will never have the chance to bring us success. We are more powerful and wise than we think we are, and nothing can hold us in place. We can openly contribute to every situation and fearlessly explain our point of view. There is great success ahead, and by sharing our ideas and thoughts with those around us, we will reach every destination we desire.

Some people are very confident, outspoken and strong willed. They know what they want, and don’t hesitate to tell others their opinions, and push their way to the front of the line. If we aren’t as confident and are interacting with them, we may feel intimidated by their behavior. If we have a different opinion about how to proceed, instead of sharing, we may hold our ideas in and keep them to ourselves. Nobody can read our minds and it’s impossible for anyone to know where we stand unless we tell them. Nobody has all the answers. We all have something to offer. By trusting ourselves and speaking up, we can contribute to everyone’s success.

There is always a risk when we share our own ideas that those around us won’t agree, and we’ll be left standing alone with no support. That may happen, but it doesn’t mean our ideas are worthless. It only means they are different than what is needed right now. It’s impossible to know what the future holds, and a proposed course that doesn’t work right now may be perfect for something coming up. There is no down side to offering and hearing alternate opinions and new suggestions. They open us up to original concepts and different roads ahead.

Today if you’ve been unsure about sharing your own ideas, speak up and let others know where you stand. You are amazing and capable, and every idea has value. Be confident and trust yourself. Share your thoughts about how to proceed, and let others know where you stand. The whole world is there for you, and nothing can keep you from your goals.
