Lots of people continually come in and out of our lives. We build many different types of relationships and connections with them, and when they’re positive, our interactions may be helpful and enjoyable. We may have some very close friends with whom we share our most private dreams and desires. If they care for us and value our friendship, they will be trustworthy and loyal. But sometimes things aren’t exactly as they seem, and we may have an experience where someone we thought was a true friend turns out to be something else. They may manipulate us into believing they are on our side and support us, and we may believe they are looking out for our best interests. We may trust them with confidential information and feel we can rely on them. If we care for them, they may use it to their advantage. Truth always rises and although we may be fooled for a while, nobody can keep up a masquerade forever. If they are unworthy of our friendship, in time, however long that takes, their true colors will surface, and we will see them for what they really are. Once the charade is exposed, we may suffer great pains of betrayal and disappointment. How could we ever have believed them? How did we fall for the lies? We are never to blame when others abuse us. It’s good to trust those around us and give them the benefit of every doubt, but we never have to stay in any relationship that isn’t working, no matter how long it’s been going on or what others may advise. We deserve complete happiness and can do what is needed to correct anything in our lives. We can’t change the past, but we are in control of where we go next, and can decide how we’ll proceed. Our lives are ours to design. If something isn’t working, we can change direction and start again. There isn’t anything we can’t do. By trusting ourselves, and moving toward the goals we most desire, we will reach success.

Physical beauty can be a great deceiver. If we’re attracted to someone because of their amazing outward appearance, we may gloss over signals that they aren’t exactly as they seem. But infatuation cannot last indefinitely. As time passes, cracks will appear in the veneer and we’ll be able to see things more clearly. External beauty has nothing to do with internal valor. We are intelligent and wise, and can see beyond the packaging to what lies beneath. We can trust ourselves to build good, strong relationships with others that will bring light and blessing into our lives.

If we’re in a relationship with someone who says all the right things, we may believe in them and wish to be close to them. Words are easy but without follow through, they mean nothing. We can say anything, but if we don’t show how we feel through our actions and decisions, the words we say will mean nothing. It’s like putting a fresh coat of shiny new paint on a ruined car. It looks good from the outside and we may be fooled in the beginning but when we try to move forward, the truth will be easy to see. We are intelligent, and can trust ourselves to uncover what isn’t real. True happiness will always be there for us, and with determination and focus, we will find it.

Today if you’ve discovered you have been manipulated into believing a lie, be confident. Everyone gets fooled sometimes. You are more intelligent and wise than you imagine. Trust yourself and step forward. There is greatness in you and nothing can keep you from every success. Stand strong and be wise. You will prevail.

Disguised

Life is full of challenges and trials. Some things come easily but many times we have to work through problems and complications to get what we want. People and situations may get in our way, and we may be frustrated just trying to take another step forward. Obstacles are a normal part of life and we all face them from time to time. They interrupt our plans, and give us grief. When we’re facing a big obstacle, it may be a huge impasse and inconvenience. But we can look closer and discover opportunities. Every challenge has value and some sort of blessing attached to it. Many opportunities are disguised at first as obstacles. When we come upon them, instead of pulling our hair out and screaming because there is yet something else blocking us, we can step back and look at everything objectively. Yes there’s something in the way, but if we look under the surface, we may see there is also an opportunity hidden beneath. Hard trials are difficult, but as we navigate through them we gain additional strength. Complicated issues may confound us, but as we untangle them we gain increased knowledge. No matter what we’re facing, no matter how dire things seem, there are benefits to be gained as we confront them. Everything may look jumbled up and confused at first, but as we peel back each layer and solve each problem, the road ahead will clear and we will find our way forward. We are intelligent and capable, and there isn’t anything too difficult for us to manage. By taking things one step at a time, and looking carefully at each development, opportunities will arise and we will prevail. We are amazingly strong and can do anything. The whole world is there for us, and nothing can keep us from success.

There will be few times when everything we plan goes exactly as predicted. Some roads will be paved and clear, and we’ll advance easily and comfortably, but those experiences are rare. Most of the time there will be snags and complications. If we’ve been pushing through trouble for a while, we may begin to believe the goal isn’t possible, and it might not be possible right now. We can set it aside and wait for our situation to change, and then go back and start again. Every destination is there for us and with patience and determination, we can do anything.

Dreaming and planning for what we want is important, but until we begin to do what is necessary to gain the goal, nothing will change. There is no magic genie to grant us three wishes, or a fairy godmother to magically change our situation. We are in control of our lives, and if we want something different, we can make it happen. We are more powerful than we imagine, and nothing is out of reach. By trusting ourselves, standing strong, and moving forward with confidence, we can make our dreams come true.

Today if there’s a big obstacle in your way and you’re stuck and frustrated, look at everything clearly and objectively. There is an opening there for you and an opportunity to advance, and you will find it. Every single dream is possible, and nothing can keep you from success. Be confident and step forward. You will reach the destination.

Endless

Our lives belong to us. When we’re young and in the care of our families, we are taught many different ideas about how things should go, what we should do, and how life operates. We may retain some of those ideas, and others we’ll change in favor of other options. Everyone has their own interpretations about how things should go and what is best. We can listen to every suggestion and then decide what we want. Getting the life we desire most is always possible, but it won’t just appear one day out of the blue. We must look at all the options for achieving it, make a plan and then work continually to make it ours. Life is unpredictable and once we begin, there will likely be problems that come up and complications that stand in our way. We might have to let our plans go for a time because of uncontrollable circumstances we can’t get around. Things may go awry, and we might take a wrong turn or fall down. If things get so complex we can’t move, or we have failed again and again to move forward, we may think our chance of success isn’t possible. It doesn’t matter how many times we get stopped, or how often the road ends before we reach the goal. There are endless chances to start again. We will never reach the last possible option. Change is constant, and what was blocked last year may be wide open and welcoming now. The only way to fail is to quit trying. If we continue on and try again, we will reach success. The road we’re on may get blocked, our current plans may not work, and we might have to turn around and regroup. But every success is possible and nothing can keep us from accomplishing anything we desire. There will always be another road, another choice and another chance for success. All we have to do is keep going. We are stronger and wiser than we think we are, and nothing can hold us in place. We can be sure and confident, and move forward until we reach the destination.

There are lots of people who continually come and go in and out of our lives. If we build close associations and friendships, we may share our dreams and goals with them. Some may be supportive and encouraging, and others may not. Some people are averse to change and may tell us the ideas we have are unwise, or unreachable. Perhaps they are comfortable with our relationship the way it is, and worry that if we move ahead with our plans, they may be left behind. The insecurities and doubts of others belong to them and have no bearing on our decisions. We can choose our way forward, and pursue anything we desire.

Some goals are hard to reach and involve a lot of work and effort. If we’ve been pushing forward for a long time and still the goal is far in the distance, we may tire and begin to believe it’s unreachable. We can achieve anything but we can’t achieve everything today. We can set the goal aside for now, and focus on something else until our situation changes. The destination will still be there, and when we’re ready to move forward again, we will reach it.

Today if you’ve stumbled again, and think the goal you desire is unattainable, trust yourself. You have already accomplished many things, and you will succeed again. Look at the road ahead and decide how you want to proceed. Plan your next move and step forward. Every single dream is waiting, and you will make them all yours.

Too Late

Life is full of experiences, challenges, decisions, and endless change. We are in control and can design our lives any way we like, but in order to get the lives we want, we have to purposely choose the roads we’ll travel and what we’ll do. It takes effort and focus to choose the roads we most desire, and there might be times when we get caught up in routine and simply continue on without any thought or concern about where we’ll end up. It’s easy to let monotony and sameness rule our decisions and we might find ourselves coasting along year after year without any plan. As time passes, it’s easy to continue in the same patterns and we may discover one day, to our amazement, that serious time has elapsed and we still haven’t achieved the goals we want. If we’ve settled into doing the same things for a long time, we might think it’s too late to change. We’ve missed the window of opportunity and now, like it or not, we’re stuck and cannot move. We might believe life has passed us by and we can no longer think about achieving the goals we set aside so long ago. Nothing can stop time from passing, but the passage of time does not determine what we can achieve. No matter where we are, how old we are, how long we’ve been in the same place or doing the same things, change is possible. There will never be a time when all doors will be closed and we are unable to move. The chance for success will always be there for us, and if we want something different, we can do what is necessary to get it. We will never be frozen in place. Every opportunity will still be there and when we’re ready to move, we can reach it. All our dreams are waiting, and with determination and focus, we can make them ours.

Some people have ideas about what is appropriate at certain ages in life. If they are used to seeing us in a certain way doing specific things and we’ve decided to change our situation, they may not approve. They may question why we want to upset the apple cart when everything is going fine. Why do we have to change what works for them? Our lives belong solely to us and we don’t need approval or permission to do anything we desire. If we want something different, we can have it. We never have to stand in place if we’re ready to move. It’s all up to us. We can achieve our greatest goals, and find complete happiness.

Every new experience teaches us something, and helps us decide how we want to proceed. What was important to us last year may mean nothing now. We learn as we go, and change is constant. As we gain more information our desires clarify, and as we move forward, we decide how we’ll proceed. There is no such thing as fate. We decide what we’ll do, where we’ll go, and what our future will be. We are intelligent and wise, and have everything we need to achieve anything we desire.

Today if you want something new but aren’t sure, remember you are in control of your life. It is never too late, and nothing can keep you from anything you desire. Decide what you want the most and make a plan to move forward. Every dream is still there for you. Be confident and focused, and nothing can keep you from success.

Staying In

Life is full of opportunities and options. We can do anything we like, and can focus on what we want the most. Nobody gets everything for free, and our goals won’t come to us without effort. We must work for what we want and pave our own roads forward. Sometimes things will go well and we’ll advance and move ahead without much discomfort. Other times we may face serious complications. If the road is complex and difficult, we may take a wrong turn and go a long way in the wrong direction before we realize it. Once we discover the error, we can do what is necessary to correct our course, and continue on. Cross country races are hard to run. There are lots of obstacles that may get in the way, hills to climb, roads to cross and dozens of things may go wrong. We might twist our ankle on a pothole, or fall and scrape the skin off our legs. As we stand bloody, and wounded, we might consider stopping. It may feel the race is harder than we can manage. But no matter what has happened or what lies ahead, we will have the reserves we need to succeed. We can stand back up, wipe the sweat and muck away, and push ahead. Falling doesn’t end the journey. If we fall again, we can rise once more. Others may pass us and we may lag behind, but we don’t have to be first across the finish line to accomplish the goal. There is only failure if we quit. If we stay in the race we will get to the destination and reach success. Every dream is possible if we’re willing to do what is needed to make it ours. Some things will be easy, but others will test us, and push us to our limits. If we keep our eyes focused on the goal, nothing will prevent us from reaching it. The whole world is there for us and there isn’t anything we can’t do. We already have all the courage and wisdom we need to go anywhere and do anything. By trusting ourselves, and continuing forward no matter what happens, we will succeed.

Everyone has their own ideas about how they think life should go. We may make plans to accomplish something that’s important to us, only to discover that accomplishing it will take far more time and effort than we imagined in the beginning. We can always change our plans if we don’t want to go through what is required to get to the goal, but if it’s important and we want it, it doesn’t matter how hard it will be to achieve it. We can set our focus on the road ahead and begin. When complications arise, we can find our way through them. If problems come up, we will solve them. We are capable and strong, and can do anything we desire.

Our lives are ours to design. If we want to take the easy road, and just accept what comes our way, we can. We can just follow along and sit in the back seat. But if we want the lives we dream of, we can make a plan to achieve what we want the most, and push ahead until we reach it. Our personal happiness is our own responsibility. The world isn’t going to create the perfect life for us, but with persistence and attention, we can create it for ourselves.

Today if the road is long and rocky, and you’ve fallen and aren’t sure you can succeed, decide what you want the most. You are more powerful than you think you are, and nothing is out of reach. Stand strong and step ahead. Every dream is there for you, and you will make them yours.
