Staying Down

We share the world with billions of other people, and although we’ll never meet even a small fraction of them, there will likely be others around us much of the time. We work with them, pass them as we go from one place to the next, and interact with them on a regular basis. We try to get along and avoid conflict, but sometimes we may get into a situation where things go wrong and we find ourselves in the middle of a serious disagreement that may have lasting negative consequences. We might get knocked down in the struggle, and if we do, we’ll have to decide if we’re going to stand back up and face the trouble, or stay down and wait. Whatever decision we make will determine what happens next. If we believe in our position, and feel confident we are right, we may jump back up and continue on. But if we’re unsure, and those around us seem stronger and more powerful than we are, we may decide to lay low until things settle down. In the midst of intense conflict it may be difficult to get our point across and waiting may be wise. Every situation is different and we’ll have to use serious judgement to determine how best to proceed. Our views are important, and just because someone else is louder and more forceful than we are, doesn’t mean we can’t be heard. With patience and careful consideration, we can decide the best road forward. All voices are important, and when the time is right, we can step forward and express our views with confidence and clarity. We are intelligent and capable, and can stand firm even in conflict. We know who we are and what we want. Our ideas, thoughts and suggestions are valuable, and when we’re ready, we can share them openly and move forward toward success.

People are complicated and complex. What one believes is absolutely, positively the right thing to do, another may completely disagree. We all want harmony and good will in our interactions, and many times that will be our experience. But there are endless roads to every destination, and the road we choose may not appeal to those around us. If we must agree, we can find a compromise that includes everyone’s point of view and allows for success. We are smart enough to find the way through, no matter how convoluted or twisted the road becomes. Every destination is possible, and with courage, and patience, we’ll find our way to them all.

If we’re headed to a destination by ourselves, we can choose any road we like. We can simply pick the direction we want to go and step forward. However, if others are going with us, and have different ideas about how to get there, our opinion will only be one of many. Learning to be flexible and listen to other viewpoints isn’t always easy, but it will help pave the road ahead. By giving a little and compromising on how we proceed, we’ll build strong connections with those around us, and ensure success. There isn’t anything we can’t do and do well. We are amazing and wise, and will find the best answers.

Today if there is conflict and disagreement, decide on the best way to manage it. Listen carefully to all the views presented, and offer your perspective with patience and grace. Be open to new roads and options. You are so smart, and nothing is too difficult for you to manage. Every road is open. Success is always there for you, and you will find your way to any destination you desire.

Not Ready

We can do anything we want in life. Some things will come easily and be simple to accomplish. We may achieve them with little effort, and feel happy and confident. But not everything can be achieved without serious work. We may choose something that will require a lot of concentration and effort. If it’s going to be complicated and require our complete attention, when we look at everything that will be required to accomplish it, even if we really want it we may think we’re not quite ready to tackle it. Nobody is perfect but we may believe we need to be somehow better than we are right now or the situation needs to perfect before we begin. Waiting for the perfect time to start a journey is always an option, but if we put things off until everything lines up, everyone around us is in agreement, and someone is there to help us pave the way ahead, we may stay where we are indefinitely. We don’t have to do anything until we’re ready, but waiting until everything is perfect may work against us. Perfection in life is the exception, not the norm. Most of the time there will be something that isn’t working, or someone who’s complaining, or something that doesn’t exactly mesh with our plans. None of that matters if we’re ready to move and achieve the goal. No matter what’s going on around us, we can find a way forward and untangle anything in the way. We just have to take a step forward, and then take another until we reach the goal. Life is uncertain, and we never know what will happen next. We are in control of our own destiny and can go anywhere and do anything despite what is happening around us. Every single dream is possible, and with focus and determination, we can reach them all.

No matter what we want to do, there will always be someone who thinks we can’t achieve it. Some people don’t like change in their own lives, or the lives of those around them. They want everything to stay the same so they know what to expect. Everyone has their own choices to make, but we never have to change ours just because someone else doesn’t agree. We can listen to their objections and advice, and then choose our own way forward. We already know what we want, and have everything we need to get it. We can begin any journey as soon as we’re ready and be sure of success.

We may face a time when the road ahead is very different than we anticipated. There may be unexpected complications, or others involved who make the journey difficult. Facing an unforeseen problem isn’t a sign that we must stop. Although we can never see the entire journey before we begin, we can be confident that no matter what we face, we’ll have what we need to continue forward. Few roads will take us directly from where we are to the destination we want. There will likely be twists and turns, delays and detours, but if we are patient and persist, nothing can keep us from the goal.

Today if you’ve been waiting for everything to be perfect before starting toward a goal, look at the situation objectively. You are amazing and intelligent, and can manage anything that comes. Trust yourself to prevail and step forward. Every destination is there for you, and every goal is possible. Be confident and begin. Nothing can keep you from success and you will win.

New Normal

Life is full of challenges. Change is constant and nothing stays the same forever. It seems that as soon as we get used to something, it turns into something else. We only have control over the decisions we make and there are endless modifications that may occur without our knowledge, consent or agreement. When our lives are suddenly and unexpectedly turned toward a new direction we didn’t choose, we may feel confused and angry. What’s going on here? How did everything suddenly go upside down? Unplanned changes in our jobs may occur that take us down paths we don’t want and never considered, new developments in our physical form may require us to modify what we’re doing or how we proceed, or a thousand other things may happen that leave us stunned and unsure. Nothing is static and everything is in flux all the time. We can make excellent plans for the future and feel confident they are sensible and stable, and they may be, but still something may turn it all inside out. We can’t read the future and it’s impossible to know what will happen next. When the road turns and we are facing a new normal, we will likely feel unsettled at first and uncertain about what to do next. We won’t have all the answers we need right away, but they will be there for us. By taking our time and looking at the entire situation objectively and openly, we will be able to discern what our next steps should be and how we can move forward. Life is full of challenges. We’re all going to get turned around from time to time but that doesn’t mean we can’t move forward. There are endless roads to every destination. If the one we’ve been traveling has disappeared, we can step onto another. We can make whatever modifications we need and adjust our trajectory until we find the right path. The way ahead may seem dark at first, but the light will shine through. We are wise and capable, and every goal is still there for us. With determination and patience, we will reach success.

There is no such thing as fate. We create our own lives and make our own decisions. When things go sideways, those around us may tell us it’s a sign that we shouldn’t proceed, as though there is someone somewhere pulling all the strings. Of course, that’s nonsense. Things sometimes go wrong, roads turn, and unexpected things happen. They may occur because of situations we can’t control, or someone’s decision we don’t know about or a million other reasons. Crap happens. It doesn’t mean we have to stop moving forward or that somehow we can’t succeed. It just means we need to change our direction and try a different route. We are certainly capable of managing whatever comes, and nothing can keep us from any destination we desire.

When our lives suddenly turn and we’re facing a new normal that is difficult and hard to understand, if we are overwhelmed, we may believe we can’t survive. It’s just too much. We’re under water and there’s no way out. But then one day passes and we’re still here. Then another comes and somehow, we’re still breathing. Sudden changes take time to adjust to but we are stronger and more resilient than we imagine. We can sit down if we need to but when we’re ready to move again, every door will be there for us. Nothing is strong enough to hold us down forever. Our dreams are waiting, and with focus and confidence we will reach them all.

Today if everything has changed and your future is uncertain, stand still and look at everything before you. All the answers you need are already there and you will find them. Decide how you want to proceed, and step forward with confidence. Nothing can keep you from success – nothing. You are powerful and wise, and will reach every destination you desire. All your dreams are still possible, and you will reach them. Be confident. The whole world is there for you.

Stormy Weather

Life is full of ups and downs. We never know what’s around the next curve or what will happen. Everyone wants an easy life filled with peace and pleasure, and we all have times when that’s the case, but nothing is permanent and no matter what we’re experiencing now – good or bad – it’s going to change. The weather will turn, and storms may follow. Sometimes things may go awry because of decisions we’ve made, sometimes because of choices made by someone else, and sometimes we have no idea what went wrong. When the skies darken, and we feel the weight of trouble hanging over us, we may be filled with dread and worry. What now? How do we find our way through this? We may begin to doubt our ability to move forward and feel concerned we won’t be able to prevail. Trouble comes to us all, and sometimes it’s extreme and devastating. But no matter what we’re facing, we have all the courage and wisdom we need to figure out whatever we must. There will never be a situation so complex or tangled we can’t unravel it. We are more powerful and capable than we imagine, and nothing can hold us in place indefinitely. No matter what the issue is, we’ll find the answers we need to resolve it and continue forward. By taking our time, looking at all the possibilities available, and trusting ourselves, we will prevail. As much as we may wish for it, life is not a continuous vacation. We will have good times, and we’ll face many tests and challenges. When trials arrive, we can be confident that no matter what’s happened, we’ll find the way through. Storms will come, but nothing lasts forever, and we will win.

We know what we want and when we’re ready to pursue a goal, we can make an excellent plan and begin forward. Things may go well at first and we may move ahead quickly, when suddenly the road stops and there is no way around. Our plans may be fine, but we share the world with a lot of other people who are making decisions and choices that may stop us in our tracks. There will always be many roads and avenues to every destination, and if we can’t continue on the road in front of us, we can find another one. A full stop does not end our journey. It’s merely a delay. We can reroute the way forward and start again.

We may face a terrible disaster that requires all our attention and time. When everything falls apart and we are left standing alone and wounded, we may feel paralyzed and unsure. Serious problems take time to process, and we can stand still until we feel ready to begin again. We can take the issue apart one piece at a time, and with determination and focus we will find our way through. Nothing can keep us from success, and we will reach every goal.

Today if you’re facing a serious complication and you’re worried and unsure, trust yourself. You have already overcome many difficult problems, and you have everything you need to prevail. Stand firm and trust yourself. Every answer is there for you and nothing can hold you in place. Step forward with confidence. Every dream is still possible, and you will make them yours.

Beginning Again

Everyone makes all kinds of plans to accomplish everything they’re interested in. If we were on our own and not subject to anyone else’s influence or intervention, we could do everything right on schedule and bask in our success. However, we share the planet with billions of other people who all have their own plans that may run over or intersect with ours in ways that keep us from advancing. Detours and complications are a constant issue, and when then come crashing down on the road ahead, we may be stopped in our tracks. It’s frustrating to be held in place when we know what we want and are ready to move. If everything would just get out of our way we could progress, but we don’t have control over anything but our own decisions, and we may have to wait. As time passes, everything changes, and when we finally get our chance, the opportunities we need to move forward may be gone. Our original plan may no longer be viable, and we might have to start over from the beginning. We may be disgusted and angry that everything has fallen apart, and it may take a lot of time and effort for us to rework how we can begin again. Few roads are paved and clear from where we are to where we want to go. Most of the time there will be some issue or problem that gets in the way or pushes us off track. If we think our plans are perfect and refuse to budge when things go awry, we may get stuck, and the goal may become unreachable. However, if we remain flexible and are willing to step a little to the right or left, bending our route around any impasse, we will reach success. If there is no way to advance right now, we can set the goal aside until our circumstances change, and then try again. Every goal is possible, but they won’t all come easily. By remaining focused on success and trusting ourselves to find the way through any complication, we will reach the prize. We are more powerful and wise than we think we are, and nothing can hold us in place. Every single dream is there for us and we will succeed.

If we face a sudden and unexpected change that impacts us negatively, we may feel stunned and frozen, and unable to move. At first, we may be sure we’ll be overcome and unable to continue forward. But we’ll survive one day, and then get through the next, and before long, we’ll find our footing again. We are strong and capable, and nothing, not even serious setbacks, can keep us from success.

Sometimes no matter how well we’ve planned, it seems the world conspires against us and everything goes up in smoke. When the bottom falls out and we’re left wondering what to do now, we may believe we can’t succeed, but that will never be true. Nothing is strong enough to keep us from our goals. We already possess everything we need to prevail. Success will always be there for us and we will reach it.

Today if everything has fallen apart and you have no idea how to begin again, trust yourself. You have already overcome many difficult situations and you will find the answers you need. Success is still possible, and nothing can keep you from it. Be confident and sure. Every destination is waiting. Step forward and claim them all.
