The End is Near

25 Jan

Life is full of challenges and we face new situations every day. There is no way to see the future and the road we’re on may turn and take us someplace entirely unexpected. That might be something fun and interesting or it could turn out to be something that brings great duress and difficulty. We all face trouble from time to time, and when something intensely negative happens that seriously impacts our progress and is filled with complications, we may feel overwhelmed and unable to move. If we’re completely lost and have no idea how to proceed, we may think there is no way we’ll ever survive, and feel like giving up and just surrendering. Of course, we can do anything we like, and if we want to throw our hands up, and run away, we can, but that will give us nothing of value to carry forward. Even if we’re sure the end is near and we’re going down in flames, chances are there are options and possibilities we haven’t yet tried. Nobody has all the answers all the time, but we have everything we need to find the answers we don’t already possess. By trusting ourselves and remembering how capable and strong we are, we will find the way forward. There will never be a situation so terrible and complex we won’t be able to figure it out. If we need help, we can get it. If we need more skills, we can obtain them. Everything necessary to move us ahead will be there for us if we take the time we need to uncover the answers available. We are more powerful than we realize, and with patience and focus, will find our way ahead. Every single destination is possible, and nothing can hold us in place forever. We are perfectly able to unravel every complication and problem before us and reach success.

Everyone has their own opinions about what is possible and how to proceed. They may tell us they doubt we’ll succeed, and know we’ll never be strong enough to conquer the goal. That is their opinion, to which they are completely entitled. But opinions are just that – opinions. They aren’t facts and don’t predict the future. We are in control of what we do and can determine where we’ll go and what we’ll accomplish. Although it would be nice to have agreement and validation when we’re struggling along, we don’t need it to prevail. We know who we are and what we want, and nothing can keep us from success.

Self confidence is important when we’re trying to overcome a difficult challenge. If we don’t believe we will prevail, odds are we won’t. There really isn’t anything we can’t overcome and manage. If we stand strong, no matter what lies before us or how unsettled we feel, and pull on our inner courage and wisdom, nothing can keep us from success. Our lives are ours to design. We can do anything and go anywhere. By believing in ourselves and stepping forward with confidence, every destination will be ours.

Today if you’re facing a very difficult and daunting challenge, and doubt you can succeed, trust yourself. You are stronger and more powerful than you believe. Nothing can hold you in place. Every dream is possible, and you will win.

Long Way Around

22 Jan

Everyone has their own plans for moving forward, and their own ideas about how things should go. If we have control over a situation, we can make all the decisions necessary to ensure it goes our way. It’s great when we can drive the train and choose the destination, but that won’t always be the case. We share the world with a lot of other people and it’s unlikely any of them will see everything exactly as we do. There will probably be times when although we’re sure we know exactly what needs to happen and how we should proceed, we have no control and must do what someone else has decided. It’s frustrating when our input is minimized, and we’re expected to follow a plan we don’t agree with. All our goals are possible, but there may be periods when we’ll have to take the long way around to reach them. Stepping further and further away from the road we want to travel is maddening. We may find it hard to interact with those making decisions that are diametrically opposed to our plans, but we have the patience and wisdom needed to manage whatever we must. Our viewpoints are valuable, and we can express them calmly and graciously. It’s important to hear all options possible and by voicing our personal opinions, we may open new doors that will take us closer to where we want to be. Some may listen to what we have to say, or they may disregard us, but speaking up allows us to at least be heard. If we can’t change the situation, we can manage it for now. Nothing stays the same forever, and in time, we’ll be able to adjust our course and get back to the roads we want to travel. By trusting ourselves, and watching for the opening we need, we can make every dream reality and reach all the destinations we desire.

Some people are very powerful and influential. They may make demands and requests we don’t understand or agree with, but if they have authority over us, we may have to acquiesce. We can do what is necessary to go along for now, but change is constant, and there will come a time when we have the chance to move on to something else. By keeping our options open and watching carefully, we will find opportunities to change course and move closer to the path we prefer.

There is no way to control our lives to prevent difficulties or hardship from coming our way. Life is full of unexpected complications and when they arise, we’ll have to deal with them. They may cause us serious discomfort and take us off track while we manage them, but they won’t last indefinitely. We know what we want, and even if we must take the long way around to get it, we can still succeed. Every opportunity is there for us, and with determination and focus, we will prevail.

Today if you must step away from your plans to do something you don’t want to do, keep your eyes focused ahead. Detours don’t mean your journey is ending. You know what you want, and nothing can keep you from your goals. Be patient and wise, and the doors ahead will open. You will reach every destination you desire and find great success. There is great happiness ahead, and you will achieve it.

Into the Unknown

14 Jan

Life is full of experiences and we never know what will happen next. There is a lot of uncertainty and what’s around the next corner may surprise us. If we’re comfortable with our routine and like the way things are now, we might try to do everything possible to keep things the same. We can try all we want, but there is no way to prevent what’s coming down the pike. When things suddenly change and the landscape quickly becomes foreign, we may find ourselves in unknown territory. It can happen over time or everything can change in an instant. Trying to grab onto normalcy and routine when the bottom falls out may be an exercise in futility. When the winds of change come, and they will come for all of us, the best we can do is hold on until we figure out how to proceed. Stepping into the unknown isn’t comfortable and we may feel lost and disoriented for a time. There will always be a way forward and if we stand still and take the time we need to see the road ahead, we’ll find it. We are capable of understanding and managing everything that comes to us. We may not like it, there may be moments of serious self-doubt and concern, and the road ahead may be dark and unclear. But we are intelligent and with patience and calm, will find all the answers we need. There are never any guarantees in life, and we may face things we don’t dream we can overcome. There may be times we’re sure we won’t survive, but the day passes, and we start again. All the courage and wisdom required to get through will be there when we need it. We are stronger and more resilient than we imagine, and nothing can keep us from success. Hard times will come. We will be tested, and we might stumble and fall. But we can get back up again, and step forward with confidence and clarity. Every destination is there for us, and nothing can keep us from success.

Change is constant and when an uncomfortable development arrives, we may be filled with dread and concern. We aren’t on the earth alone, and if the situation is frightening or unsettling, we can reach out to those we trust for advice and counsel. There will be an answer to every question and a solution to every problem. Nothing is impossible for us to unravel. By trusting ourselves, and getting help when we need it, the road ahead will open, and we’ll be able to move forward.

When we lose something we value greatly, we may grieve for a time and feel intense sorrow. When pain is prevalent, we may feel frozen and unable to move. It’s okay to stand still. There is no rush to continue forward. We can take the time we need to find peace and clarity, and when we’re ready, can begin again. All our dreams will still be there for us, and we will make them ours.

Today if you’re facing a very difficult challenge and you have no idea how to get through, trust yourself. You’ve already overcome many hard trials and trying times. You are strong and capable. Be confident and take your time. Every answer is there for you, and you will prevail.

Socks

17 Dec

Nobody gets a life constantly filled with fun and good times. We all have wonderful moments we cherish that buoy us up and bring great happiness, but those times don’t last forever. Periods of distress and trouble eventually arrive, and we may have to find our way through complex and difficult developments. It’s natural to feel unsettled when our world is in flux and things are going wrong. We might be overwhelmed and unsure, and we may struggle with depression and anxiety as we navigate through whatever we’re facing. When we don’t feel our best and are beset by worry and concern, it can be hard to be around others who are happy and having fun. They may try to cheer us up by telling us our situation isn’t “that bad” or in other ways try to divert us from the issue. If we’re feeling open to encouragement, that may help but we all manage things our own unique way, and there may be times when we wish all the cheerleaders around us would just put a sock in it and go away. We may prefer to face our demons alone and on our own, and being around others who aren’t suffering may be more than we want to face. We’re entitled to manage our lives our own way, and don’t need agreement or permission to check out for a while. We’ve been successful in managing many difficult situations and solving complex problems, and we will be successful again. Even if the road ahead is dark and unclear, we can trust ourselves to find the answers we need and be confident of success. Nothing is too difficult for us to manage or too hard to overcome. We are powerful and wise, and will find the way forward.

When we’re going through hard times, it’s easy to feel isolated and alone. Nobody really knows what’s happening inside our heads but us, and if the situation is personal or intensely private, we may not be interested in sharing it with others. We can keep the situation to ourselves, and take the time we need to process it clearly to find the way ahead. Or we can reach out to someone we trust, share our concerns, and listen to any advice they offer. By managing the issue in ways that make us comfortable and confident, we will find our way through, and resolve it successfully.

There is no one perfect way to handle difficult problems. Each is unique and specific to its own parameters. What works in one situation, may not apply in another. There are endless ways to navigate through any problem. We are intelligent and capable, and already possess everything we need to prevail. We can seek the answers desired, confident they will arise when needed. Nothing can hold us in place indefinitely, and we will always, every single time, find the road ahead.

Today if you’re facing a difficult challenge, take the time you need to process everything objectively and find the road ahead. Every answer you seek is there for you. You are amazing and powerful, and nothing can keep you from success. Trust yourself. Step ahead with confidence. The road is there for you, you will find it, and you will win.

Drip Drip Drip

8 Dec

Life is full of challenges. We face something new everyday and with each experience learn more about ourselves, and our world, and where we fit in the mix. Sometimes we face extreme trials that test us and push us to our limits. They come to us, tearing up our plans and revising the road ahead. Hard times teach us a lot, and make us stronger and wiser. Extreme situations will arise, but they won’t happen all the time. For most of the time, our aggravations and frustrations come from everyday annoyances and problems. We process them as they arise and continue on, but if we must deal with one issue after another for a long time, we may tire and feel like we can’t go on. The constant drip, drip, drip of trouble can wear us down. We may become weary of the struggle and think about dropping out – just stepping away and letting someone else deal with them. Escaping is always a possibility and if we want to, we can abandon our responsibilities and walk away. It may seem like a good idea when we’re tired and frustrated, but our problems don’t change when we ignore them. They wait and remain until we return. Others may be able to deal with the mess we leave behind, but if the issue is ours to solve, it will stay in place, exactly as we left it. It’s like going on vacation and leaving the house a mess – food containers on the counters, dirty dishes in the sink, clothes strewn everywhere and wet towels on the bathroom floor. We might forget about it while we’re having fun and enjoying our break, but nobody is going to break in and clean it up for us. It will be waiting for us when we return. Constant aggravations can be taxing, but we are intelligent and capable, and no matter how difficult things become, we can take care of them. We can manage our lives in ways that bring us comfort and satisfaction. By focusing on what we really want, we can move forward with confidence and reach success.

Our relationships are important to us, but not every relationship is easy and beneficial. If we’re in a situation where we are constantly making excuses for someone else’s behavior, or continually trying to fix situations caused by their decisions, our lives may be consumed with managing someone else’s problems. We can be kind and charitable, and let others manage their own issues. Our lives are ours to design, and with clarity and focus, we can achieve gratification and complete happiness.

We’re not superhuman or immune from fatigue. If we’re tired, we can step away and take a break from any situation. Standing still for a time will allow our minds to rest, and open new ideas and possibilities we may not have considered. Every problem has a solution, and nothing is too complex for us to figure out. We can trust ourselves to find the answers we need, and be confident we will prevail.

Today if you’ve been facing problems one after the other, and you’re tired of the struggle, step back and take a break. Let your mind rest and all the answers you’ve been seeking will rise. You are incredibly capable, and nothing can hold you down. Be confident and continue on. Every success is already there for you, and you will win.
