Revising the Plan

20 Nov

Life is filled with opportunities and endless chances to learn and grow. We can attempt any challenge and pretty much do anything we want to do. But nobody is perfect and we all have limitations of some sort. We’re capable of doing many different things and accomplishing many goals, but there may be times when what we want to do isn’t workable. It’s true that every destination is possible, but we must determine if we can, and are we’re willing, to do what is needed to reach them. Nobody can be everything to everyone. If the goal requires too much time out of our schedules, more money than we’re comfortable spending, or there are physical demands we can’t meet, we can change our objectives and go another way. If no matter what we do or how we strategize we can’t make things work, we can revise our plans and start again. Nothing is permanent or written in stone. There are endless opportunities available to us and countless goals to reach. We can review our situation clearly, consider every possibility and then decide what we want to do. With careful planning and determination, we can have the lives we dream about. If something is out of reach, we can move toward another goal that will bring us satisfaction and happiness. The chances for success are always there for us. We can choose where we want to go and what we want to do, and then move forward with confidence. Our lives belong to us and we can design them any way we like. Every opportunity is there and once we decide what we want, we can look at all the parameters required to get there, and choose our next steps. We are strong and capable, and can see things clearly. We can choose wisely, and find great success.

While beauty is in the eye of the beholder, if we want to be a super model, we have to be tall. If we’re too short we won’t get the chances we desire. Some goals have specific requirements attached to them, and if we don’t possess those attributes, we will not get the chance to succeed. If we can’t do something we desire, we can find a way to manifest that desire in another arena. There are more opportunities possible than we imagine. We can find success and satisfaction, pushing forward toward every possibility.

Understanding our personal characteristics and accepting our limitations will help us refine the road ahead. We can tailor our goals and advances toward our talents and individual idiosyncrasies. When we work with our unique traits instead of trying to re-invent the wheel, the road will be more accessible and success will come more easily. We can push further and reach farther, and still honor our personal nature. We can accomplish our goals and find great happiness moving forward.

Today if a goal you want to achieve isn’t accessible, think about what you want to accomplish. You are gifted and talented in many ways. Consider all the possible options ahead and decide what you want. The whole world is there for you and you will do incredible things. Be confident and step forward. You are amazing, and you will reach success.

Free Pass

14 Nov

Every choice we make has consequences. If we’re careful and thoughtful, and do our best to choose the best possible options, chances are the consequences of those decisions will work in our favor. But people are complex and life is complicated. Things go wrong, unexpected problems arise, and we make mistakes. If we’re stressed, overwhelmed, angry or distracted, we might make a decision that isn’t in our best interest and has dire results. We are free to choose anything we like, but we’re not free to choose the results of those decisions. There is no way to escape our accountability for the choices we make. It doesn’t matter is we were stressed, upset, confused, or convinced by someone else to do something. If we make a decision, it belongs solely to us, and we’ll answer for what happens next. When we choose the first step on any path, we also choose the last. Accountability must be satisfied and there is no way to escape. We may have good excuses for why we did something, and they may be convincing, but there are no free passes. We are responsible for every decision we make. Nobody can make us do anything we don’t want to do. If we acquiesce when we know it’s the wrong choice, we must endure what comes. We can try to explain our way out, and offer any excuses we think might help us, but nothing can change the path we’ve chosen. Once a decision is made it cannot be erased. But even if we’ve erred, we can do what is necessary to fix the situation, and then proceed forward with renewed confidence and choose more carefully. We are intelligent and capable of making excellent choices, and nothing can prevent us from reaching our goals. With wisdom and patience, we can choose the roads that will move us forward and help us find success.

There are a lot of excuses and reasons for bad decisions. If the situation was intense and we felt pressured, we may say we couldn’t help what happened. We are always in control of everything we do, and even if we’re being pressed or bullied, we can stand firm and make the best decisions possible. Every choice we make takes us somewhere and by being proactive and thoughtful, we can make the best decisions that bring us the results we most desire.

It’s good to be kind and have mercy on someone who chooses badly, but justice must prevail. Nobody is perfect and even if others are considerate and understanding, we are still accountable for our choices. Once we’ve chosen a road, we must travel it to the end. There is no way to erase the past and the best we can do is choose more wisely moving forward. Life is all about learning and every step teaches us something to carry forward. We are able to learn from our mistakes and make excellent choices. Every goal is possible and with wisdom and care, we will reach them.

Today if you’ve made a bad decision that’s bringing you difficulty and trouble, think about your next steps forward. You can change course and turn your direction toward where you most want to go. Stand strong and step forward with confidence. You know what you want, and you will prevail.

Running On Empty

12 Nov

Life is busy and we often have many things to think about and accomplish. We move from one task to the next and if we’re heavily distracted and deeply involved, we may lose track of time. We might forget to eat and have no idea when we last sat down and rested. When we’re busy and trying to get things done, it’s easy to let our personal needs slip. But we are the only ones who can take care of ourselves, and if we neglect what is necessary to keep us strong and healthy, it will impact us. When we’re driving and the gas tank is on empty, it’s only a matter of time before everything stops and we get stuck. The same is true for us individually. If we’re running on empty, pushing our luck, we might be able to keep moving for a while, but as our personal resources are depleted and we tire, everything will start slowing down. Eventually we’re going to have to stop and recharge. We are capable of greatness and when we’re motivated, few things can stop us from moving forward. Fatigue and exhaustion are powerful deterrents. If they take over, no matter how ambitious we are, we will have to stop and rest. We can head them off before they take over by paying attention to our personal needs and proactively planning for time out and nutrition. If we take the time we need to make sure we’re strong and rested, and ready for the next challenge, we will find great success. We are powerful and capable, and with careful planning we can accomplish anything, no matter how difficult the task may be. We have all the wisdom and intelligence we need to take care of ourselves and make the most of every moment moving forward. Even far away destinations are within our reach and we can accomplish anything we desire.

When we’re determined to move forward or want to accomplish something in a hurry, we might think taking time to sit down and recharge is wasteful. If we stop to rest, it’s time that keeps us from moving ahead. It’s true that when we’re taking time out we aren’t gaining ground. However, when we’re rested and recharged, we will be able to move more quickly, reason more effectively, and find our next steps more efficiently than we could have while exhausted.

If we’ve been routinely pushing ourselves to the limit of our capacity, we may struggle to recognize when we need to rest and recharge. Our bodies are amazing and can tolerate a lot, and if we listen carefully, they will give us cues when we need to eat and recharge. Working within our limitations and understanding how to maximize our efficiency will bring us great benefits moving forward. We know what we want, and we can achieve anything. We can accomplish our goals and take care of ourselves in ways that bring us great success and happiness.

Today if you’ve been pushing yourself to the limit and are exhausted and tired, step back and do what you need to recharge. You don’t have to push forward every single moment. Take good care of yourself and plan for success. You are amazing and powerful, and nothing is beyond your grasp. Be wise and plan well. Every success is there for you, and you will reach it.

Opposition

30 Oct

A new highway that’s clear and smooth is easy to travel. We can coast along and look at the scenery, not worried about obstructions or interference as we move ahead. The pavement is even, and the trip is effortless and uncomplicated. We may wish our lives went as easily, and sometimes they do. When that happens, we can relax and just go with the flow. But life is fickle and nothing stays the same forever. Before we know it, something goes wrong, and there is opposition blocking our way. Opposition is a normal feature of every day life. There are endless ideas and attitudes, and countless people coming in and out of our focus all the time. Everyone has a different slant on how they think everything should proceed, and when their opinions conflict with our own, even if we’re headed in the same direction, there may be push back. The paved roads we desire may be impossible to find. If we’re determined to do things our way, and refuse to consider any other interpretation, we my face a very difficult and stressful situation. It’s good to be confident, and we can live our lives any way we choose, but when others are involved, it can get messy if everyone doesn’t agree. There are many roads to every destination and even if our ideas are excellent, it doesn’t mean they are the only ones worth considering. If we are alone and don’t have to acknowledge anyone else in our decision, we can do anything we like. But if others are included, every idea will need to be explored. We are intelligent and can make excellent decisions. Including others in the choices we make going forward will help diffuse conflict. Opposition will always be there, but if we’re open to other interpretations and ideas, we’ll find the best way forward.

It’s very hard to collaborate with someone who only sees their own point of view. If we are limited to one road ahead and will not consider any other option it will be impossible to hear any other message. Tunnel vision limits us to only one solution, but there are always other options possible. If we only look one way, we may miss many other options that may bring success more easily and effectively. Looking around and letting new ideas enter the picture will enable us to more easily find the best way forward, and reach our goal.

When we have a good idea and others are involved, we can explain our plans and hope for agreement. There will times when everyone will be on the same page, but other times there may be objections. We can listen to any challenges or doubts, address them and together determine our next steps. Opposition need never stop us from progressing. We can listen and find common ground with those around us, and work together to reach the goal.

Today if you’re getting push back on an idea you want to pursue, listen to the opposing viewpoint and evaluate all your options. There will always be a possible compromise that will enable you to move forward. You are smart and wise, and can accomplish anything you desire. Be open to new ideas, and use them to find the best road ahead. Every success is possible and nothing will keep you from winning.

Stand Still

22 Oct

There are all kinds of people in the world. Many of them are nice, and we make a lot of friends and acquaintances as we go through our lives. Most people try to do their best and are helpful to those around them, but some have an agenda that doesn’t include being kind to others. If we come in contact with someone who is mean or rude, who despitefully uses us to get something they want, it will be difficult and unpleasant. We may try to navigate the situation with grace but we don’t have to stand still and let someone abuse us. We’re in control of our lives and if we’re in a situation that is uncomfortable, we can step away. We never have to remain anywhere we don’t want to be. No matter who we are, what we do, where we live, or what our roles are, we are important and deserve respect. If someone around us isn’t honoring that respect, we don’t need to stand still and endure it. Walking away doesn’t mean we’re weak or can’t handle conflict. It means we value our worth and will protect it. We are responsible for ourselves and know what we need and where we want to go. Being proactive when problems occur and doing what is necessary to ensure we manage the best way possible, will move us forward and help us reach our goals. There isn’t anyone else like us in all of creation. We are unique and have gifts to offer nobody else possesses. We can ensure the connections we build take us where we want to go and provide positive influences that help us move ahead. Every goal is possible and we have everything we need to manage whatever comes and find success.

Some people are very strong willed and internally focused. They have great confidence in their decisions and choices, and want others to follow along. We may certainly go along with anything or anyone we choose, but we need never sacrifice our own initiative and creativity. Nobody knows everything and we can offer our ideas and suggestions to those around us. We are wise and capable, and can find the road to any destination we desire. Others may choose their own roads, and we may choose ours. All the answers we need to reach success are always available to us, and we will find them.

When we’re around a powerful person who dominates the situation, if we don’t agree we can speak up. Power doesn’t always equate to success. Being loud and forceful doesn’t mean we have all the answers. If our choices are being constrained and held back because someone else wants us to do things their way, we may decide to step out on our own. Our viewpoint is important and if we can’t express it where we are, we can move. Our lives belong to us and we can do anything we want. We can have the lives we dream about and reach every goal we desire.

Today if someone is telling you how to live your life and you want something different, step away and begin again. You know where you want to go and have everything you need to get there. Trust yourself and move forward. Nothing is out of reach and you can make all your dreams come true. Be confident. You’re amazing and we’re all blessed because you are here.
