Do It My Way

There are all kinds of people in the world and we all have our own opinions and ideas about how we think things should go. It’s nice to have different points of view and they may bring a broad spectrum of ideas that help us decide on the way forward. But with difference sometimes comes conflict. It’s one thing to be offered an opposing viewpoint, and quite another to have someone tell us we’re wrong and we need to do things their way. Some people are very sure they have the answers and if we aren’t following along, may try to force us to into compliance. If they don’t agree with the way we’re doing things, and they have authority over us, they may stop us and make us comply with their views. We are always in control of our lives, but there may be times when because of circumstance we have to follow someone else. It’s frustrating when we can’t chart our own course and hard to feel important if we feel we’re treated simply as minions. If we must submit to someone else’s plans, we may have to tread water for a time, but can still express ourselves and be open about our own ideas. Offering a suggestion may open the door to change and allow us more control as we move forward. We are smart and capable, and have a lot to offer. Everyone has something of value to share. Life is all about change and whatever situation we’re in now will eventually modify. When it does, we can choose the road we want to travel, and move ahead with clarity and confidence. Success will always be there for us, and we will achieve it.

Some people are very smart and know more than others about specific situations. If we’re working with them on something and they share information that helps, we can take advantage of their knowledge and expertise. Or we can thank them for their suggestion, and continue forward on our own road. Just because someone knows something doesn’t mean they have all the answers for us. We already know what we want and where we want to go. We can listen to any advice that’s offered and then choose the way ahead.

If we see someone struggling and have information that may help them, we may offer it. If we’re sure they’re headed in the wrong direction, we may suggest an alternate course but then we must let them choose for themselves. We’re all in control of our own lives, and may do anything we desire. We can choose the way forward, even if it’s different than what everyone else thinks we should do. We don’t need permission or agreement to do anything. By honoring that privilege in ourselves, and respecting it in others, we can decide on our next steps and move forward toward success.

Today if you see someone struggling and are sure you have the answers they need, you may offer any suggestion you like. Explain your point of view and then let them decide for themselves. We can all choose our own way and travel our own roads to get to any destination we desire. Chart your individual course and decide what you want. You are incredibly wise and capable, and nothing is beyond your reach. Every dream is possible. Step forward with confidence, and you will succeed.

Rescue

Every day we face new challenges and experiences. We never know what will happen next, and we may be taken by surprise when something completely unexpected comes. We’re strong and wise, and can manage our lives well, but we might face a time where what we’re facing is so daunting and unsettling, we aren’t sure how we’re going to get through. If the trial is extremely difficult and we’re pressed trying to figure out our next step, we may wish for someone to come along and rescue us. It’s natural to want someone else to take away what’s hurting or causing us struggle, and we can certainly wish for that, but most of the time it probably won’t happen. Our lives are completely our own responsibility, and we must face whatever is required of us. If the situation is more than we want to deal with, we can try to ignore it. Looking away may change our view, but it will never solve the problem. Every complication will wait in place until we turn back and face it. We have all the courage we need to look at everything openly. If we need help or advice to move forward, we can find it. The guidance and support we need will always be there for us. We can find all the answers we need and are resourceful enough, and smart enough, to resolve any situation before us, no matter how difficult or complicated it may be. We have already faced and conquered many problems and issues successfully. We can be self-reliant and continue to find our way. Nothing is too hard for us to manage, and we can be sure of success.

If we’re on a boat and fall overboard, someone may throw us a life saver. We can grab onto it and it will hold us up until we’re able to get back to safety. In our lives, if we fall into difficulty we may feel as if we’ve fallen overboard and struggle to stay afloat. If there is no one to save us, we may believe we’re doomed to fail. We’re in control of our lives, and our futures are never written in advance. We will never be in a situation where there is no way to get through. There will always be a way forward, and we can trust ourselves and be confident we will find it.

Nobody starts out with all the answers. Even if we’re very smart, we will never know everything. Confusing and complex times will come, unforeseen problems will arise, and we may feel overwhelmed and lost trying to figure out how to get through. We can take the time we need to see everything clearly, and then with patience and focus, decide on the best way forward. We can rely on our wisdom and experience to guide us and trust ourselves to prevail. Nothing is really out of reach. We can be sure we will find every answer we need.

Today if you’re facing a big challenge and there are a lot of unknown variables complicating the situation, remember how capable and wise you are. Everything may look unclear at first, but you have all the tools you need to find the way forward. Be confident and trust yourself. You are amazing and strong, and nothing can keep you from success. Step forward with clarity. Everything is possible, and you will win.

The Road

Everyday something new happens and we can’t see what’s coming next. There is no way to anticipate the unknown. All we can do is take one step at a time and face whatever presents itself as it arises. All roads have a destination and the road we’re on is going somewhere. If we’ve chosen the way ahead the destination may be clear and obvious. It’s easy to plan when we know the way forward and where it will lead. But life is uncertain and sometimes we get turned around and pointed in directions we never intended to go. People make decisions that affect us, things go wrong, unexpected events derail our plans, and endless other possibilities can knock us off course. If we’ve been pushed onto a path we didn’t choose, we may be uncertain about what will happen and unsure where we’ll end up. Foreign roads can be unsettling. When the terrain is unknown, and we can’t see ahead, it’s hard to know what to do. If we’re facing something we’ve never been through before and there is trouble and complications, we may feel lost and untethered as we try to find our footing. Stepping into the unknown isn’t easy, but we can trust ourselves and remember how strong and capable we are. We may feel lost for a moment, but we will find our way. The road may be unclear and murky ahead, but with each step we will see a little more. We have all the courage and wisdom we need to find our way through anything. Nothing is strong enough or confusing enough to hold us in place indefinitely. We’ll find the way forward, and in time, reach success.

There is no way to know everything ahead of time. Even when we plan carefully and chart our course with clarity and wisdom, things may go awry. There will always be many unknowns in every scenario. When the road turns unexpectedly, we may face problems that tangle up our plans and stop us in place. We can take the time standing still to look at all the options ahead and find the opening we need to continue forward. Things may go wrong, trouble may come, and everything may go up in smoke, but we are intelligent and wise, and will find our way through.

Sometimes things happen that completely derail our plans for the future. Everything we wanted to accomplish may suddenly be impossible, and all our ideas will no longer work. When that happens, we can sit down in frustration and refuse to move, or we can review every available option and find a new way to move forward. If we want to continue ahead, nothing will ever be powerful enough to stop us. Every dream is still there for us, and when we’re ready, we will make them ours.

Today if you’re on a road you don’t want to travel but can’t step away, be patient. Change is constant and soon you’ll be able to chart your own course. You are smart enough to manage any complication and find your way forward. Every dream is possible and with clarity and wisdom, you will gain the life you want the most. You are powerful and intelligent. Step forward with confidence. Nothing can keep you from success, and you will prevail.

Reaching Higher

Every decision we make has a consequence. Where a choice will take us after we decide may be obvious, or we may have no idea what’s coming next. It isn’t always easy to see the best option, and even when we try to choose wisely, sometimes things go awry. If we’re thoughtful and take the time we need to see the possibilities before us, we’ll more effectively be able to make good decisions. But if we’re in a hurry, stressed or pressured to move, we may simply choose the easiest road. Choosing the easiest option without thinking might get the job done for now, but odds are we’ll face complications ahead. Bad decisions never bring happiness or peace, and can make it hard to do the things we desire. They tangle us up, and make moving forward nearly impossible. If we want happy, peaceful lives, it’s important to weigh each choice carefully and then step forward with confidence. We can’t read the future and there will always be things we don’t know, but if we’re diligent in doing all we can to choose open, clear roads, we’ll have a better shot at success. There will always be many options possible, and if we want real success, we can reach higher for the best alternative. Reaching higher for the best choice isn’t always easy, and may require more from us than something simpler. The best roads ahead may be longer, and more arduous than the easy way out but choosing well, even if it’s harder, will bring us happiness and satisfaction. Everyone wants a happy life. We can’t control what will come, what decisions others make that impact us, or where the road turns, but we can always control what we choose. We don’t need agreement or permission to decide how we want to proceed. We can do what is needed to choose wisely, and create the lives we want the most.

Our lives are busy, and sometimes there is much to do, and many responsibilities to manage. If we’re rushed and pressed for time, we might make a choice quickly without looking at all the possible ramifications. We just choose and rush on to the next item. Some decisions have little consequence, but others, like a snowball racing down a hill, pick up problems at every turn. One simple decision made quickly can turn into a nightmare of complications and messy details we don’t have time for or want to face. We are wise and intelligent, and even if we’re in a hurry, can make excellent decisions.

If we’ve chosen badly and ended up somewhere we never intended to go, we can stop and consider how we want to proceed. We are never restricted or held at one destination indefinitely. There will always be other roads to travel and we can step away and correct our course until we’re headed in the right direction. Every dream is possible, and we can make the decisions needed to make them ours.

Today, if you’ve made a mistake in judgement and don’t like where it took you, you have all the power you need to revise your plan and continue forward. Every option is possible and you can do anything you want. Decide where you want to go and step forward with confidence. You can have the life you dream about, and find success.

Crystal Ball

We can do anything we like with our lives, and can make any decisions we desire. We don’t need agreement or permission to choose the paths we want to travel, or decide on any action. Some people like control and may try to turn us in one direction or another to achieve their personal ends, but we never have to take the bait. The future is ours to determine and we can create it any way we like. There are unlimited roads to every destination, and if we’re focused and determined, nothing is out of bounds. We don’t need a crystal ball to see the future and can choose the direction we’ll take at every moment. It’s great to understand our personal freedom, but life is filled with responsibilities and tasks that can hold us in and restrict our movement. Some things can be modified to fit within our parameters, but others require us to bend or wait. It’s hard to stand still when we want to be moving forward, but nothing can hold us in place forever. We can do everything we want to do, but we can’t do it all today. Learning to wait well takes practice and patience. Life is long and if we’re determined, nothing can keep us from any goal we desire. There isn’t a detour long enough or wide enough to keep us from success. Every dream is possible if we’re willing to do what it takes to make it ours. There are no secrets to having a happy, successful life. We can decide what we want, and then move forward and accomplish it. Nothing is out of reach. Nothing. It’s all possible and we can have the lives we dream about.

It might seem life would be easier if we could see into the future. If we knew what was going to happen, we could prepare for it before it arrived. The thing about life is we learn new things every day that help us understand the world more effectively and give us the skills to manage what’s coming next. If we knew what was headed our way before we were prepared to handle it, our lives would be in chaos. We don’t have to know what’s going to happen ahead of time in order to navigate it effectively. Every answer will always be there for us when we need it, and with patience and clarity, we will find them.

When we want to accomplish something, we may carefully consider how we’ll achieve it, allow for complications that may arise, and plan for each step of the journey. It’s great to have a plan but plans can’t predict every turn the road ahead may take or what may stand in our way. If we’re flexible and able to bend as issues arise, we’ll be able to continue moving forward and in time, reach the destination. Life is full of surprises and everything can change in a moment. We can alter our course when we need to and reach every goal. Success is always possible and we will reach it.

Today if your plans aren’t working out and you aren’t sure how to continue, all the answers are already there for you. Review every possible option and choose the road that will move you closer to your goal. You have everything you need to do anything you want. Nothing is too far away or too difficult for you. You are strong and capable, and have all the wisdom and insight you need to succeed. Be confident and trust yourself. Every destination is possible, and you will reach them.
