We make thousands of decisions as we go through our lives. We try to do our best in each instance to make sure we’re headed in the right direction and choosing well. Most of the time we succeed and things move along the way we want them to. However, we’re not perfect and there is no way to see what lies around the next curve, and sometimes we’re going to falter. Decisions may blow up in our faces, or we may choose roads that take us to places we never, ever wanted to go. If there are others involved and we make a bad choice, we may impact them as well. It’s uncomfortable to realize we’ve hurt others by our own actions, and we’ll need to find a way to make things right again. Many things can be changed or altered, but some things are so defined and permanent, once they happen, there is no going back. If we’ve created a mess, and there’s no way to stop the train, we will have to endure the situation until it resolves. If we try to deny our involvement or lie about what we’ve done in an effort to escape, we will only make things worse. Truth always rises and cannot be held back indefinitely. We might be able to hide for a while, but in the end, we’ll have to answer for our actions. Although we may be embarrassed and feel very uncomfortable, it’s far better to stand up and own our part in the problem. We can admit we made a mistake, and then get to work correcting the issue. Nothing is permanent and no matter what’s happened there will always be a way forward. We may have to give up something we want, and it might take a lot of time and effort, but we can find resolution and continue moving ahead with confidence. Mistakes will happen and we have all the wisdom and intelligence we need to correct them and reach success. Every dream is there for us and we will prevail.
We may think by keeping our lives small we will avoid serious complications and trouble. We have a lot to offer and keeping to ourselves out of fear will never allow us to reach the destinations we most desire. There is always a risk when we step out and try something new, and move into foreign territory. But the rewards when we succeed will outshine any risks we may take, and will enrich our lives beyond what we can imagine. There is greatness inside us and with courage and confidence, we can achieve any goal we desire.
If we cause a problem and refuse to acknowledge our actions or admit we’ve erred, we may try to skip away and never look back. Every choice we make takes us somewhere. We cannot become the best versions of ourselves and reach our most treasured goals by being dishonest or unethical. By choosing well, and owning every choice we make, standing firm in faithfulness and integrity, we will reach every destination we desire.
Today if you’ve made a big mistake and everything has gone wrong, stand firm, admit the error, and then do what is necessary to turn things around. You are intelligent and wise, and nothing is too difficult for you to manage. You know the way ahead, and nothing can hold you back. Step forward, be confident, and trust yourself. Every goal is possible, and with patience and focus, you will make them yours.
