Greatness

The world is filled with all kinds of people. There are millions of us with endless ideas and expressions regarding how things should go and what we should do. Most people are good and will do their best to live a noble and virtuous life, and we can always make  good decisions about own lives. As we strive to live well, there will always be a lot of influences around us. There are constant messages about how we should look, what we should have, where we should live, and thousands of other opinions. We could never measure up to all the values and attributes others suggest, and trying to do so may lead to feelings of inadequacy and imperfection. The world is full of ideas and it’s impossible to emulate every single one. If we try to become what someone else thinks we should be, or do what they think we should do, we will lose our own uniqueness and the gifts we have to offer will be lost. We were created to be exactly who we are. We are the only one like us in all creation. The only one. Nobody else will ever be able to give the world what we offer. It doesn’t matter what others are doing, it doesn’t matter what they think or how they want us to live. What’s important is that we’re authentic to exactly who we are. It’s easy to forget the greatness we bring, but it will always be there inside us, ready to share. We can recognize what a true blessing we are and how important our influence is to the world around us. Nothing could ever replace us or take our place. We are where we need to be at this very moment, and can do anything we want going forward. The whole world is blessed because we are here, and our influence is great and valuable.

It’s always easy to bring people together when they share a common interest. They understand each other’s perspectives and their shared concerns give them a base for recognition and communication. We can share anything we like in our lives, but we never need to conform to someone else’s view. Going along to get along will never bring us the happiness or satisfaction we deserve. Being completely authentic and genuine in our choices will bring us great contentment and gratification.

Pianos do not have unlimited keys. They always have eighty-eight keys and although the tones are limited, the melodies that can be created using them are endless. Imagine what would happen if they had endless keys and tones. The possibilities are beyond our comprehension. Our lives are like a piano with unlimited keys. We can do anything, go anywhere, and accomplish any goal we desire. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is off limits. We can make every dream come true and reach any destination we desire. We are powerful and incredible, and our greatness influences everything around us for good.

Today if you’ve been following someone else’s ideas about how you should live your life, remember how great and unique you are. You are like a rare, perfect diamond, one of a kind, and irreplaceable. Be exactly who you are and your influence will enrich us all. Nothing can ever take your place, and the whole world is blessed because you are here.

Bad to Worse

Nobody’s perfect and we all make mistakes. Even when we’re trying our best, things go wrong sometimes and we may do something we regret or don’t want others to know about. The mistake we’ve made may be so difficult that we try to hide it from those around us. That may work sometimes, but if it doesn’t and someone finds out, in our embarrassment or shame, we may lie and say we didn’t do it, or don’t know anything about it. We may hope it’ll just fade away and no one will ever bring it up again – which again may work sometimes. However, if others get involved trying to find out what happened or who is responsible, and we keep lying to cover our tracks, our situation will only worsen. A mistake isn’t the end of the world and even if it’s bad, we can recover. But complicating matters further by lying and denying won’t solve anything. Instead our situation may deteriorate and we may find we’re in deeper than if we’d told the truth at the beginning. It’s like digging a hole. The first denial is the first shovelful of dirt out of the ground. Each additional lie or distraction digs us in further and before we know it, we’re in a hole we can’t get out of. One mistake is just that – one mistake. Even if it’s big and impacts others negatively, owning up to it at the beginning will make it possible for us to fix whatever has gone wrong, and start again. Wrong turns teach us a lot about the way forward. We discover what doesn’t work and can use that information to help us find the best roads ahead. Life is all about learning and we’re going to stumble from time to time. When we falter, admitting what we’ve done and gaining all we can from the experience, will help us find success as we move forward.

When we’re interacting with someone who wants us to do something difficult, it may not be easy to comply. If the task is hard and we’re struggling to get through, we may try to find a way around it. When asked about our progress, we may lie and say we’re doing fine, when in fact we’re no closer to completion than when we started. We never have to compromise our values in an effort to please someone else. If we can’t do what’s been requested, we can say so. Being honest in all our dealings, even those that are complicated and difficult, will bring us great confidence and satisfaction.

It’s possible to get tangled up in someone else’s problems. They may come to us for advice but then dump their issue onto us. We can always help but we never have to take ownership of anyone else’s trouble. We can be supportive and allow them to keep what is theirs. Our lives are important and we deserve to be happy and comfortable. We can make excellent decisions, and find our way with confidence and clarity.

Today if you’ve made a big mistake and are trying to cover your tracks so others won’t know, think again. Be honest and own what’s yours. Then step forward and adjust your course until you find the best road ahead. You are amazing and strong, and nothing can hold you down. Be confident and trust yourself. All the answers are there for you and you will prevail.

Long Lasting

We don’t live in a vacuum and there is no way to isolate any choice we make or action we take, and keep it from moving toward something else. One thing always leads to another and everything we do takes us somewhere. Sometimes we can see where we’ll end up, and other times it’s a mystery. One thing is certain, no matter what we do, the influences of life around us and the decisions being made by others will affect what happens next. If we take time to see the possible results of our decisions before we make them instead of blindly blundering through, we’ll have a better chance of ending up somewhere we want to go. Some decisions are insignificant and have little bearing on us or what we want to accomplish, but others carry a lot of weight and if we choose poorly, after we make them, may have long lasting affects on our lives. They may completely alter the road ahead and cause us all kinds of problems and complications as we struggle to move forward. When we’re in the middle of a turbulent situation and there is a lot of confusion, we may choose something quickly to alleviate our discomfort. We may get temporary relief from the frustration, but then find we’re on the wrong road going the wrong way. Once we’ve altered our course it may be difficult to correct our direction and get back to where we want to be. The affects of our decisions can have long lasting impact on our lives. We are intelligent and wise, and can make excellent decisions, even in times of stress. We can step back and look at everything objectively, consider every possibility, and choose the best options going forward. Every answer we need is there for us and if we take our time, we will reach every destination we desire. We already know what we want. With patience and consideration, we can make successful choices that will bring it to us.

Life is an adventure and there are endless experiences possible. We can do anything but if we let our lives just roll on with no thought or consideration for where they will take us, we may end up somewhere we don’t want to go. If we don’t control our lives, and simply do what others suggest, we’ll end up with a life designed by someone else. Happiness comes from doing what is most important to us and making choices that take us where we want to go. We deserve complete happiness, and by taking control of our decisions, and moving toward the goals we desire, we will have it.

There is no way to move backward or go back in time to change something that isn’t working. We are exactly where our choices have taken us. If we aren’t happy, we can change direction and if the road we’re on isn’t working or the decisions we made aren’t taking us where we want to go, we can stop and redirect the way forward. We can have the lives we dream about by carefully choosing the steps that will take us to it. Every goal is in reach and we can do anything, and go anywhere we desire.

Today if you’ve made a decision that isn’t taking you toward the destinations you want, change direction and start again. Choose the roads that will take you forward. Nothing can keep you from success. Every dream is possible and you will prevail. Step forward and be confident. You are amazing and powerful, and you will win.

Possible

Our lives are a reflection of every decision we make. If we’re focused on where we want to go, and make choices that move us closer to our goals, we’ll get to the destinations we want. But life is busy and complicated, and there are endless things that can distract us and pull us away from doing what is needed to find the success we’re seeking. People are constantly coming and going in and out of our lives demanding our time and attention, and countless unpredictable events can push us off track and hold us in place. If we’ve been trying to do something for a while and haven’t made any progress, we may begin to believe we can’t achieve it. Some things may not be available at this moment in time, but everything we desire can be accomplished if we keep our eyes on the goal and take advantage of opportunities as they present. We may have to wait until a better time arises, or we may have to take the long way around to get there, but everything is possible. There will always be a road to the destinations we want. We’re capable of handling details that get in the way, and can find another route if the road we’re on doesn’t work. Our lives are ours to design, and nothing can keep us from what we desire if we’re willing to do what it takes to get it. It doesn’t matter if the goal is hard to reach – we are strong and capable. It doesn’t matter if the road ahead is long and difficult – we are wise and can endure whatever is needed to succeed. All our dreams can come true and we can have the lives we desire most. Nothing is too hard for us to manage or too far away. Every destination is there for us and with determination and focus, we will reach them.

When we’re doing something new or trying to put something together, it’s helpful to consult the instructions. They help and give us added confidence when we get confused or can’t figure out the next step. Unfortunately, our lives don’t come with an instruction manual and when we’re stepping into something new, we’re on our own. There may be others willing to help or we might need to step ahead into the darkness alone. We already possess everything we need to do anything we want. We are more powerful than we realize, and nothing is out of reach.

There are endless reasons not to do something we want. It’s too hard, it’ll take too long, we aren’t sure we can succeed, or it’s Tuesday. If we really don’t want to do something, any excuse will do. But if we want to succeed, and truly desire the goal, nothing can keep us from it. There is no detour big enough to keep us from moving forward, and no complication difficult enough to hold us in place indefinitely. We can do anything. Nothing is too far away or too hard to reach. We can make our dreams come true and have the lives we desire.

Today if a thousand things have gone wrong and you’re starting to believe you can’t succeed, remember how powerful and strong you are. Complications will come but you are smart enough to find a way around them. Your life is in your control and you can do anything you want. Look up and step ahead. Every dream is possible, and you will make them yours.

Deserving It

Life is filled with surprises and uncertainty. We don’t have any control over what comes to us or what others are doing, but we always have control over our own decisions and choices. We can decide what we want, with whom we’ll associate, and where we want to go. Sometimes things will go exactly the way we want them to, and other times we’ll face trials and struggles that challenge us and make the road ahead difficult. When things are going wrong and nothing seems to work, we may wonder what we did to deserve this. Is it possible we caused all this heartache to come upon us? Our decisions always have consequences and there will probably be times when a choice we make takes us somewhere uncomfortable, but often when hard times come, they are the result of a thousand different things over which we had no control. Nobody wants to suffer but trouble will come to us all. We can’t possibly make enough mistakes to deserve every problem that comes our way. We don’t deserve to struggle – it’s just part of life. What we do deserve and can achieve is complete happiness. We can make excellent decisions and choose the roads that take us where we most want to go. There is great satisfaction in being in control of our lives and making choices that move us closer to our goals. Even when things fall apart and everything is upside down, we can be calm and confident that we will prevail, and find the answers we need. They will always be there for us and we have all the wisdom and courage to do what is needed to find them and solve any problem we encounter. Life is uncertain but we can be confident that no matter what comes, we will prevail. We deserve the very best life has to offer, and with patience and determination, will get it.

Our relationships are important to us and when they are positive and beneficial, bring us great peace and comfort. However, we may have a relationship that works against us, and causes pain and hardship. Our lives are ours to design and we never have to stay in situations that bring us pain and sorrow. If our association is keeping us from fulfilling our dreams or causing us serious duress, we can step away. If we are connected by family or professional ties, we can alter the way we interact so that we are comfortable and able to move forward.

We are all unique and have special gifts to offer the world. Nobody can take our place or offer the blessings we have. If our lives aren’t where we want them or we’re headed toward something we don’t desire, we can stop and re-evaluate the way forward. We deserve every dream we choose. There is a road to every destination we want, and we can change course and begin toward them at any time. Every happiness is possible and we have everything we need to find success.

Today if you’re struggling and the dreams you desire seem far away, remember how strong and powerful you are. There isn’t anything you can’t do. You deserve the very best life has to offer and every happiness can be yours. Be confident and trust yourself. Step onto the roads that will take you to the destinations you want the most. Every dream can come true and nothing is out of reach.
