Cheap Imitation

We all know what we want in our lives. We know what we want to do, where we want to go, and who we want to spend our time with. Sometimes what we want is easy to obtain and we’re able to achieve it with little effort. But often our goals don’t just fall into our laps, and we must take the time and do what is needed to make them ours. We can reach any goal if we’re determined and nothing is out of reach. Of course, there are always options available. If what we desire is difficult, and will require a lot of time and energy, we can always opt for something that’s not exactly the same, but is close. It’s like buying a knock off. It may look kind of like the original, and if we don’t look at it too carefully, can convince ourselves it’s close enough. But having something kind of like what we want will never bring the satisfaction of having the real thing. Getting something that’s sort of like our true desire will only make us sort of happy. Only the complete goal we’re seeking will bring us complete happiness. If we feel satisfied enough with a cheap imitation, it’s easy to accomplish. Stopping short of what we really want and choosing something easier is always possible. However, our dreams and desires are important, and if we want them, we can have them. We can decide to do whatever is necessary to reach any destination we desire. There is no limit to what we can accomplish if we’re determined and focused on moving forward. Every dream is possible, every goal is reachable, and every desire can be fulfilled. We’re in control of our lives and every decision we make. We can create the lives we want the most. Nothing is out of reach, and we can make all our dreams reality.

A knock off Rolex isn’t a bad looking watch. Although it’s made of base metal instead of gold, and the interior mechanism is lower quality, from a distance it may look like the real thing. We can always buy an imitation and hope it’s good enough. We may fool some people, but we will never fool ourselves. Settling for something less than what we really want will never satisfy our desire. We will always know we compromised and will still want the real thing. Instead of choosing easier options, we can plan and work for what we really want, and find great satisfaction in gaining it.

Our relationships are important to us, and when they are rewarding and happy, can bring great joy into our lives. If we’re in a relationship that’s not working, we can consider every option to improve our situation. No matter how much time we’ve invested, or what others may expect, we never have to continue any relationship that isn’t making us happy. We can consider all our options and choose the road ahead that will bring us the satisfaction and contentment we desire. We deserve complete happiness, and can do what is needed to obtain it.

Today if you’ve been settling for less than what you really want, remember your life is important. You can have everything you desire, and you deserve full and complete happiness. Decide what you want the most, and then take the first step toward making it yours. Every dream is possible, and with determination you will succeed.

What We Say and What We Do

We will make millions of decisions as we go through our lives. Many are inconsequential and it doesn’t really matter which way we go, but some are important and may have the power to completely alter our direction. There may be times when something seems trivial but turns out to have a huge impact on us. Who we are and what we do will always affect what comes next. If we go around telling people we are something we aren’t, our credibility will be damaged and from then forward, those around us will learn they cannot trust us. Trust is the most important asset we can obtain, and if we have the trust of those around us, many doors will open on the road ahead. Deception never brings anything valuable or worthwhile into our lives, and in the end, will always bring trouble and complications. Everyone wants an easy life filled with opportunity and prosperity, and the way to those things requires complete honesty. Nobody is perfect and it can be hard to admit our mistakes. It takes determination and courage to tell the truth when we’ve dropped the ball or are responsible for some misstep. However, when we’re open and honest in all our dealings, even the uncomfortable ones, we will be trusted and revered by others. They’ll build strong relationships with us that will pave the way forward and help us achieve our most desired goals. We are smart and capable and can do anything we choose. By being honest and doing the very best we can, we will reach every goal and destination we desire, and have the lives we want the most.

Photoshop is an amazing tool we can use to alter an image and make it appear different than it really is. We can make ourselves look younger, thinner, and more beautiful with just a few keystrokes and a little imagination. While it may be fun to change the appearance of things and make them look more appealing, nothing can change reality. Nothing. Saying we’re something we’re not, or otherwise trying to appear different than we really are is like trying to Photoshop our lives. It never works, and always brings complications. We can be truthful about who we are and if we want to change, can do whatever is needed to bring that about.

If we’re creative and determined, it’s possible to fool those around us into believing something that isn’t true. We may be able to deceive others for a time, but truth is powerful and will always rise. In time, however long it takes, the truth will come out. Nothing we are now will ever be as bad as how we’ll look caught in a lie. It’s not a question of if it will be uncovered, but how bad it will be when it happens. We can be honest and confident of who we are now, and move forward toward who we want to be.

Today if you’ve been convincing others you possess attributes you do not have in an effort to look better or get ahead, remember your choices define who you are. Be honest in your dealings and every door ahead will open for you. You possess greatness that can embellish and enrich the world. Show us your best, and every success will be yours.

Beyond Imagining

There are billions of people in the world. There have been uncountable numbers of them since the dawn of time, each living their own lives uniquely and individually. It’s hard to comprehend the vast scope of humanity and the endless varieties of expression and choice. When we think of how huge it all is, we may feel insignificant and hardly worth a glance. If we aren’t famous or in some way notable, it may seem that we are often overlooked, others aren’t aware of us and our lives are meaningless. But that isn’t true. Every single person who has ever lived, who is alive now, or who will come in the future will bring something new to the world. We are all one of a kind and nobody can now or ever will be able to offer the gifts we have to give. We are worth more than we can imagine and nothing can ever take our value away. Life isn’t always easy and we may encounter a time when everything goes wrong, and we feel worthless and unimportant. But we are essential to the big picture and our influence impacts everything around us. Even if our families neglect us, our friends ignore us, our lovers leave us and it seems nobody cares, we are still worth more than any treasure on the earth or in the heavens. Our worth is never determined or diminished by what happens or the opinions of others. Everything is different because we are here, and nothing can take our place. We don’t have to be loud or famous, we don’t have to find the cure for cancer or get an Olympic gold medal to count. Our presence makes the world richer and every day our light brings something new to everything around us. We can be confident in being ourselves and value every experience we have. We can strive for any goal we desire, but we are perfect just as we are.

There is no way to calculate how much our influence impacts those around us. There are people everywhere we go, and they will see us and hear us as we navigate through our lives. We never know how much a smile or a kind word may mean to someone else. It could change everything for them, and bring them more joy than we may comprehend. One drop of water is a small thing, but given to a tiny, parched plant, may save it from extinction. Everything we do modifies everything around us. We are important, and nothing can replace the good we bring.

Nobody lives in a vacuum. Everything we do touches someone or something, and there is no way for us to live our lives without altering the world around us. Our influence is undeniable and whether it’s positive or negative is up to us. We can make the world better or we can cause contention and hardship. What we decide will determine what comes next. We are in control of our lives, and every choice we make takes us somewhere. We can choose wisely, and find great happiness.

Today if you feel insignificant and unnecessary, remember you are more valuable than you can imagine. You are amazing and important. We all value your influence and want to share your light. Be confident and believe in the power you possess. Your decisions can bring every gift and you will find great joy and success.

Not Apologizing

Everyone is different and there are endless interpretations and perceptions about everything in life. What one believes is absolutely correct, another will question and offer a contrasting idea. The viewpoints and approaches may be vastly different and there is no end to the variety we may encounter. If we are convinced our ideas are the only right way to proceed, we may face contention and argument. We are certainly entitled to our own perspective, but there are countless roads to every destination and many different ways to accomplish any goal. We can be open to listening to other views and respect that we’re all different. However, if we feel strongly about our own ideas, and they are different from those around us, we can still go our own way. If we aren’t hurting others, we need not apologize for our interpretation of the world around us. We are entitled to our own voice and can go our own way. There is sometimes a lot of pressure from others to conform and if we disagree, we may be encouraged to remain quiet. But we are as important as anyone else, and can be confident in our own ideas. If everyone were the same and agreed to follow the identical road going forward, there might be less contention but we would lose our creativeness or ingenuity. Differences bring depth and variety to our experience. We can have our own views and allow others the same privilege. There isn’t anyone else like us in all of creation. We each have unique and specific gifts to offer, and allowing everyone to express their own point of view brings richness and variation to our experience. We can be confident in being ourselves, and step forward on the road that will take us where we most want to go.

The world is a noisy place filled with people telling us all kinds of things. They may tell us that following their ideas and beliefs are the only way to true happiness and success. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. There are endless ways to achieve both and we never have to do things someone else’s way. When we decide where we want to go and what we want to achieve, and then follow our own roads ahead, we can reach complete happiness and satisfaction. Every destination is possible and by being true to who we are we will reach them.

Charismatic people who are loud and persuasive may convince us they have all the answers we need to be happy. We can follow anyone we want for as long as we like, but we already possess everything we need inside us to find our own way. We already know what we want and have all the skills and wisdom necessary to achieve anything. We can trust ourselves to find our own way, and step forward sure of success. Nothing is beyond our reach and we can achieve every goal we desire.

Today if someone is encouraging you to follow them and telling you what you should do, remember how important your life is. You are intelligent and capable, and can do anything you desire. Trust your instincts, and step forward with confidence and clarity. Every goal is possible and you will succeed.

Planning for Success

We all have dreams and ideas about things we want, places we want to go, and what we want to accomplish. The options are unlimited, and we can spend all our time dreaming of the life we desire, hoping it will magically come to us. We can wish that somehow, some way, things would morph into what we want most of all, and imagine what it would be like if our lives made us happier and we felt more fulfilled. While it’s good to have dreams and goals for the future, simply thinking about them and wondering what it would be like to achieve them will change nothing. We can wish for change all we like, but wishes are simply dreams without a plan. If we want the lives we’re dreaming about we can have them, but they won’t just come to us because we desire them. We must determine what it will take to make them ours, and then begin stepping forward toward them. We can do anything if we’re willing to do what is necessary to accomplish it. We’re smart enough and courageous enough to reach any goal we want. Once we decide where we want to go, we can make a plan and move forward. If we’re happy standing still and remaining where we are, it’s easy to do. Routine and familiarity may make us feel settled and safe, but will never bring us the rewards and excitement of a life filled with new experiences and growth. Our lives belong solely to us and we can design them any way we like. If we want something more, we can reach for it. Nothing can hold us in place when we’re ready to move. Every option is possible and we have everything we need to do anything we desire.

Sometimes things don’t work out the way we want them to. If we aren’t happy, we can sit and bemoan the situation for as long as we like. We can complain about where we are and become complacent in our discontent. We may gripe because this or that didn’t happen, or we didn’t get the opportunities we feel we deserved. Life is unpredictable and things won’t always go our way, but that does not freeze us in place. We are more powerful than we may realize and can do anything we desire.

Chocolate ice cream is good. It’s really good, but it’s not the only flavor that’s delicious. There are endless other combinations and concoctions that are as delicious and enjoyable, but if all we ever get is chocolate, we’ll never have the chance to try them. There are unlimited and endless things we can do with our lives. If we stick with what we know and reach no further than where we’re comfortable, we may miss the chance to experience something wonderful and enriching. There are endless roads to travel and every opportunity is available to us. We really can have the lives we dream about. We just need to plan, and then, go get them.

Today if you’ve been dreaming of something new but haven’t moved from where you are, trust yourself and step forward. The whole world is there for you and every dream is possible. You are amazing and incredibly capable. Dream big. You deserve every success and by planning and moving forward, you will reach it. Nothing is too far or too difficult. You can have the life you want, and find complete happiness.
