Round and Round

We are always in control of our lives and can make any decisions we like. We choose where we want to go, the people we want to see, what we want to do, and endless other decisions. If we’re careful and think before we move toward something, we have a better chance of getting where we want to go and having a positive experience. But life is complicated and there are many distractions. We might, out of pressure or confusion, make a choice that takes us somewhere we never wanted to go and blows up in our faces. We are all capable of making excellent decisions, but they require thought before we jump. If we just follow our noses around without looking where we’re going, it’s likely we won’t end up exactly where we want to be. If others want us to do something, and press us to follow their direction, if we feel pressured, we may participate even if we don’t want to. We may end up going round and round in a situation we never wanted to join. Everyone has their own ideas about what we should do, but we don’t have to go along with anything we don’t want. Even if everyone else is going north, we can choose to go south. By taking control of our lives, we determine our own destiny and can achieve anything we desire. Everything is possible and all roads are there for us. Once we decide what we want, we can make a plan that will take us there, and step forward with assurance that we will succeed. Nothing is too far to reach, and every destination is waiting. We can be confident we will prevail, and make all our dreams reality.

Patterns and routines can lead us along and after a while, we may find ourselves making the same decisions over and over again without thinking. We see the same people, go to the same places, and participate in the same activities. There is nothing wrong with routines if they take us where we want to go. But if they hold us in place, and prevent us from moving toward the goals we really want, we can step away and move in another direction. We are the only ones who can keep us from success. If we’re ready for something different, we can chart a new course, and begin again.

There may be times when we get stuck making decisions that don’t work for us. It might be because of a personal relationship that is difficult, or because we are afraid of choosing for ourselves and are following someone else. Repeating the same bad choice over and over again will never bring satisfaction. Our happiness is important, and if we’re in a situation that keeps us from it, we can choose something else. We are wiser and stronger than we may think we are. Nothing can keep us down when we’re ready to move. We can step forward with clarity toward the goals we want the most, and reach success.

Today if you aren’t moving forward toward what you desire, think about how you want to proceed. You are in control of your life and can design it any way you like. Nothing is too hard for you to manage, and every goal is possible. Decide what you want the most, and begin toward it. You will find great satisfaction and happiness as you move forward, and you will succeed.

Change Direction

There are unlimited things we can accomplish in our lives and there isn’t anything we can’t achieve. We know ourselves better than anyone else ever could, but we never know what will happen next. We can’t see the future, and there is no way to see what’s around the next corner. Although we’re in control of every decision we make, we can’t control anything else that happens. We are strong and capable, and if we’re on the road toward a goal we want to achieve, and are persistent and diligent, it’s likely we’ll succeed. But change is constant, and our ideas and desires are always in flux. We continually modify how we feel about our lives and what’s happening around us, and review all the possibilities and options we might pursue. As we grow and learn, at some point, we may decide we no longer want something we’ve been working toward. Maybe we’ve outgrown the need for the goal, or our experiences have taught us new things that make it no longer desirable. A change a of heart can happen at any time, and if it does, we’ll need to decide how we want to proceed. We never have to continue on any path we no longer want. It doesn’t matter how much time or energy we’ve invested, or how far we’ve come. We can change direction and go another way. If we no longer want the goal, we can step away and move toward something else. Our dreams are ours alone, and we always know what we want. If we’re true to our unique desires, we can have the lives we dream about. Our lives are ours to design, and we can create them any way we like. All options are there for us, and we will reach every destination.

Our time is very valuable. How we spend it will determine where we go and what we accomplish. We can do anything, and if we want to, can continually go from one idea to the next, never staying long enough to accomplish anything. If we do, we may find years have gone by and we haven’t achieved any goal. There are many distractions all around us all the time. It’s not possible to do everything that piques our interest. By specifically choosing exactly what we want to do, and then working toward the goal with focus and attention, we can accomplish anything and move forward with confidence and clarity.

Sometimes we have no control over changes that come into our lives. The road we’ve been on may suddenly disappear because of circumstances out of our control. If we can’t move forward, we can change direction and find another road. If the goal simply isn’t possible at this time, we can set it down, and move onto something new. Putting something on hold isn’t abandoning it and giving up. We can wait until our situation changes and start again. Every goal is possible. With patience and conviction, we really can have the lives we want, and make our dreams come true.

Today if your desires have changed and you no longer want to continue toward a goal you’ve been working on, decide what you want the most, and change direction. Your life is yours to design. Choose the destinations you desire most and step forward. Every dream is possible, and you have all you need to make them yours.

Powerless

We are all entitled to make our own decisions and decide how we’ll live our lives. We always know what we want most and can make choices that help us achieve our goals and go where we want to go. Sometimes things go smoothly and we arrive at our destinations with little trouble, but other times things may go awry and we may struggle to press forward. We live in the world with billions of other people. Although we’ll never see them all, there are many around us who are making their own decisions, which may complicate our choices moving ahead. We may face a time when no matter what we do we’re stuck in place and nothing works out. Feeling powerless and unable to move is frustrating and difficult. But we are smart, and there are endless roads to every destination. If the one we’re on gets blocked, we can choose another. If none of the roads will work right now, we can set the goal aside for a time, and return to it when our situation changes and the way ahead clears. Life is full of possibilities but they won’t all be available all the time. If the goal we’ve chosen is locked away right now, it doesn’t mean it’s hopeless and we can’t achieve it. It’s still there for us, but unattainable for now. Life is long and with patience and determination, when things change, we can be ready to begin again. Every goal is possible and nothing will be out of reach indefinitely. Nothing is powerful enough to hold us in place forever. Our dreams are already there for us. By trusting our instincts and preparing for success, we will reach every destination we desire.

When we’re young our dreams reflect what inspires and impresses us. We want to be superheroes, high fashion models, race car drivers and every other exciting idea. As we mature and begin to understand who we are, we start to comprehend how the world works and what we really want. Our ideas change as we grow and we learn about complications and obstacles. There are few paved roads to the destinations we desire. Many times, we’ll have to work hard to get there, and go through many adjustments and revisions, but we are in control and can reach success. We are strong and capable, and always have everything we need to prevail.

There are many influences around us all the time. Some are positive and encouraging, and others may pull us away from what we want. Nobody controls our lives but us, and we never need to give up our power to choose because someone else is stronger or louder than we are, or wants to manipulate our lives to match their interpretation of what they think we should be doing. We are never truly powerless and always have the right to choose our own way. Nothing can keep us from our dreams. With determination and clarity, we can go anywhere and achieve anything.

Today if you feel powerless and unable to move forward because of a situation around you, remember how strong and capable you are. You have overcome many challenges already, and have everything you need to do anything you desire. Be confident and step forward with certainty. Every dream is possible, and nothing can keep you from success.

Not Real

Everyone has an idea of how they want their lives to go and what they want to do. There are endless opportunities and we can do anything we want. We know we’re in charge of our direction and what we accomplish, but life is complicated. We have commitments to jobs, to family, to associates and others, and although we’re in control of our lives, sometimes what we want to do takes a back seat to what we feel we must do. As we try to accomplish everything, we may ignore some unsettled issues from the past. Problems we haven’t solved and don’t want to face may pull on us, niggling us they are still there. We’re busy and it’s inconvenient to stop what we’re doing to take care of something from before. Instead, we might just push it behind us, shut the door on it, and hope it will disappear on its own, but that never happens. Truth is truth and will not be denied. Refusing to look at something and pretending it’s not real will never alter our reality. We carry every unresolved issue forward until we finally decide to turn around and face it. Dragging old problems behind us is exhausting and eats into our happiness. It doesn’t matter how difficult or painful the issue is, we have everything we need to see it openly and take care of it. There is always enough time to address any issue that’s holding us back, solve it, and move forward unencumbered. Our happiness is important and doing what is needed to ensure we make the most of it will help us achieve every goal we desire. When we’re ready we can move forward with confidence and clarity, and find great success.

It would be great if each day everything worked out and nobody got in our way. We could move ahead easily and without problems or delays. Unfortunately, life doesn’t usually work that way. Most of the time there will be things we don’t want to endure, issues we don’t want to face, and frustrations that hang us up. We can focus on all the problems and complications, but in the midst of each challenge there will be things going right. We can manage whatever is before us and focus on what we’re learning as we solve each issue. Our lives belong to us, and we can handle them with excellence and certainty.

Nobody wants to suffer but we don’t live in Nirvana, and suffering is part of the game. People may hurt us, our plans may fall apart, lovers may leave, and we may be left standing alone. If the pain is great, we might pretend the issue isn’t happening. We may convince ourselves if we don’t look at it, it isn’t real. Burying our heads in the sand will never help us move forward. What is real exists whether we want it or not. It’s best to accept whatever has happened, solve any issues we must, and take everything we’ve learned forward with us. We are intelligent and strong, and nothing can hold us down indefinitely. Every dream is there for us, and we will succeed.

Today if you’re ignoring a painful issue that’s holding you in place, open all the doors and find the answers you need to move forward. You are amazing, and a blessing to us all. Be confident. You can do anything. Nothing can stop you from realizing your dreams.  Every success is there for you and you will prevail.

Phony Baloney

There are all kinds of people in the world. We get to know them as we spend time with them and they reveal more of who they are and where they’re headed. Our lives are often enriched by the differences we encounter, even when those differences are hard for us to comprehend. When we’re honest about who we are others respect us, even if they don’t agree with us. It’s easy to be genuine and express our true feelings when those around us are similar and we fit the current model. But there is unending variety in the world, and if we’re in a group where we’re very different than the customary norm, we may be hesitant to show our true colors. We might even pretend we’re something we’re not as a way of gaining approval. We can do anything we like, but if we profess to be different than what is real, we may dig ourselves into a deep hole as we try to keep the facade believable. Being accepted may seem like a good goal, but achieving it through misrepresentation may backfire in the end. It’s exhausting to try and maintain deception indefinitely, and impossible to keep it going forever. The truth will come out in time, and when it does, if we’ve been dishonest, what we’ve done will impact the trust others have for us. We don’t have to fit anyone else’s idea of what is acceptable. Our unique contribution, no mater how different it may be, is valuable and worthwhile. If others require us to conform to their views in order to be part of the group, we can walk away. Nothing is more important than our own personal honesty. No one else in the entire world can offer the gifts we have to share. We can be confident in who we are, and find great success.

Some people struggle with confidence, and in an effort to make things easier will simply go along with whatever those around them are doing. It’s a lot easier to ride along in the back seat than to take the wheel and choose the way forward. We can always coast and let others make choices for us. It’s easy to get along when we agree with everything that’s being said and done. But if we only do what everyone else decides, we will never be able to express our true desires or get the life we want the most. Nobody knows us better than we know ourselves. We have everything we need to make excellent choices, and all our dreams are possible.

We only get one chance to live our lives. Time flies by on wings of lightening and each day is priceless. What we do with our time, and the choices we make determine the life we get. We are important and can do anything we desire. We can express our true feelings in every situation and honestly face whatever may come. There is no need for phony baloney. We are powerful and capable, and every destination is there for us.  We can trust ourselves to choose wisely, and accomplish any goal we want. We are amazing, and a true gift to the world.

Today if you’ve been pretending to be something you aren’t in an effort to be accepted, remember you are unique and priceless. There isn’t anyone else exactly like you in all of creation. Be yourself and show us who you are. You are a gift to us all, and the whole world is blessed because you are here.
