Gonna Do It

We make millions of decisions as we go through our lives. We decide where we’ll live, what we’ll do, where we’ll go and endless others. Some are inconsequential and our choices don’t impact us much, but others are more serious and have lasting consequences. If there is something we want to do, we may talk about it, think about it, make all kinds of plans to do it and dream about how our lives will be once we’ve accomplished it. Thinking, and talking and planning are all important, and it’s fun to dream, but nothing will ever change until we purposely start doing what is necessary to make the goal a reality. They say talk is cheap and that’s true. We can talk about what we’re gonna do, where we’re gonna go, and share endless dreams with those around us. We can think of a dozen ways to get the job done, and plan indefinitely. There is no hurry to reach success, but until we actually start moving forward toward the destinations we most desire, we’ll remain exactly where we are. Some things are hard to do and some goals will take a lot of time and effort to achieve. If what we want is difficult to accomplish, and will take a lot of energy and focus, we may need to wait until we have the time and freedom to make it ours. Everything is possible and when we’re ready, nothing is out of reach. We can trust ourselves to find the best roads ahead, and reach every destination.

We can’t see the end of the road from the beginning. We may start toward something new only to discover the road ahead is more complicated and difficult than we imagined. If the journey will be harder and more arduous than we thought, we can step back and decide how we want to proceed. The goal will be there for us, and we can plan the best time to move forward. Success will always be possible, and with determination and focus we will make it ours.

Some people talk about a lot of things they plan to do. They tell us where they’re going to go, how their lives will change and endless other tales about how things will be once they accomplish their big plan. Wishing and hoping and dreaming are one thing. Doing what is needed to change our lives is something else. We are wise and powerful, and can do anything we desire. Every dream is possible and we can make them ours.

There is no need to wait for everything to fall in place perfectly. You are smart and capable, and can do anything you want. Be confident and step forward. Cart First

Nature is amazing and orderly. Everything happens at the right time. Fall never comes just before summer, harvests don’t come in winter, and the sun doesn’t rise at night. There is timeliness and order to everything. We can count on this to continue and often predict what will come next. Our lives are ours to design, and since we have free will, can do anything we like. There is no set schedule for when things must happen, and timing doesn’t count for a lot of things. But there are some that may bring us hardship if we do them out of order. If we buy a car before we have the money to make the payments, we will struggle. If we take a job we’re unprepared for we may go down in flames. If we attempt an advanced course before taking the pre-requisites, we may fail. It’s like the old saying about putting the cart before the horse. If the horse isn’t in the front, it can’t pull the cart, and so we’re stuck. There are all kinds of ways to succeed at what we want to accomplish, and if we skip the preparation, or try to jump ahead, we might get there, but we won’t have all the tools we could have acquired along the way. We are intelligent and can see what is needed to reach success. Doing things in order will help pave the road ahead. Every goal is possible, and we can achieve anything we desire if we’re mindful and focus on what is required to win. We have all the wisdom we need to reach any destination.

Life is full of complications and unforeseen developments, and will bring us lots of challenges. Even if we make every single decision perfectly, there will still be tangles and trouble from time to time. There are lots of forces and people we may be unaware of who may be doing things that make our journey more difficult. We can’t control what life will bring us but we can control what we do. By taking our time and clearly looking at all the options possible before making a decision, we can move forward more easily and reach success.

Everyone wants to get to their goals with as little hassle as possible. We all want to lose ten pounds yesterday, or get that promotion we think we deserve immediately. Nothing worth having comes without effort. Wishing and hoping and dreaming of how things could be is just a distraction. Once we decide what we want, we can determine what is needed to make it ours, and then step forward to accomplish it. We are strong and capable, and nothing is out of reach. Every dream is possible, and we will make them ours.

Today think about putting things in order. Decide what you want and make a plan to achieve it. You are incredibly capable and there isn’t anything you can’t do. Stand strong and step forward with wisdom and focus. There is great success ahead just waiting for you. Be confident. You will win.

Changing Them

We meet all kinds of people as we go through our lives. With some we build strong relationships and connections, others are co-workers and acquaintances, and there are some we just wave to in passing. There may be a time when we meet someone and are instantly captivated by them. Maybe it’s the way they look, or there is undeniable chemistry between us. Infatuation can be intense and if we’re under the spell, we may lose all sense of restraint and normalcy. There may be an extreme desire to abandon all caution and do anything to get closer. But first impressions can never tell us everything, and as we interact and spend time together, issues may arise that under normal circumstances may send us packing. If we’re entranced, we may think they don’t matter, we can do what is needed to change the other person so it won’t be an issue. We may believe that by spending more time with them, even marrying them, they will change and the problems will go away. Thinking we can change anyone else for any reason is a recipe for disaster. We’re all entitled to live our lives any way we choose, and the odds that we’ll be able to alter someone’s personality in ways that work better for us are slim to none. We are who we are, and although change is always possible, it must come from inside us and the desire to change must be great. No relationship is perfect, but if we’re willing to accept others for who they are instead of trying to change them, we have the best chance of success. We all have a lot to offer, but our gifts are different and varied. Looking at everything objectively and realistically will help us decide how best to proceed. We deserve complete happiness, and by being open and seeing things clearly, we will achieve it.

Love means different things to different people. To some it means we will do everything for them and change our lives to fit their model. They may tell us that if we love them, we’ll do as they ask. We’ll change the way we look, or how we act, or what we like, or a million other details. Loving someone doesn’t mean we give up who we are. We are unique and valuable and have individual gifts to offer nobody else can give. We never have to acquiesce to ideas we don’t want or that take us from who we really are. If the relationship requires more than we want to give, we can step away and move in a new direction.

Rushing into a relationship rarely leads to long term satisfaction. Getting to know someone takes time. Learning how we relate to one another and what works takes focus and effort. Running fast into the wind will definitely take us somewhere, but if we can’t clearly see where we’re headed, we probably won’t end up where we wanted to go. We can have rich, fulfilling relationships if we take things one step at a time. Our lives are important, and we deserve every good gift. Being thoughtful and wise, we will find great success.

Today if you’ve been captivated by someone and can’t get them out of your mind, stand still and think about how you want to proceed. Take the time you need to really know them, and then choose your next steps forward. You are amazing and have so much to offer. Everything you desire is possible, and with wisdom and patience, they will be yours.

Zero Resistance

Everyone is different and we all have ideas about how things should go and what we should do. We decide what goals we want, where we’ll go and choose every aspect of our own lives. We’re entitled to our own choices and can do anything we like. Some people think they have all the answers and know more than the rest of us. They may think their ideas are better than anyone else’s and may try to make us comply with their desires. If they will not tolerate any resistance, we may struggle when we must deal with them. Unless they have authority over us, we need never do anything we don’t want to do. It doesn’t matter if they insist, if they scream and holler or try to muscle us into compliance. We are in control of our lives and may live them according to our own desires – not somebody else’s. We can listen to any advice or direction we’re given, and then decide what we’ll do. If we’re intimidated or threatened by someone, we might go along with what they want, but control over our lives is ours alone. We need never give it up to go along. We don’t need anyone’s permission or agreement to do anything we like. Every destination and goal are possible, and if we keep our eyes looking forward, nothing can keep us from success.

It’s always easier if everyone is doing the same things. If we’re all going in the same direction there are often fewer complications and tangles along the way. Being the same as everyone else might be easier, but we’re all unique and have our own perspectives. Our ideas are valuable and important, and we have the courage and wisdom we need to express them clearly and effectively. We can change direction at any time and take a new road. We are intelligent and strong, and will find the way forward.

If there is something important we want to accomplish, and we feel strongly that we know the best way to get it done, we might try to make others involved do things our way. We may insist on compliance, sure that we have the only answer. No matter how confident we are, there are few times in life when only one way will work. Instead of forcing our views on others, we can be confident enough to listen to different ideas and allow everyone to participate in the decision. There are always many roads to every destination, and by keeping our minds open we will find the best way ahead.

Today if you’re being pushed to comply with something you don’t agree with, remember your decisions are yours to make. Listen to every perspective and choose the best road ahead. You never need to go along with anything you don’t want. You are smart and have everything you need to do anything you desire. Nothing is powerful enough to control you. Stand strong and be confident. The whole world is there for you and everything is possible.

Momentum

Our lives are ours to design and we are in control of every decision we make. We all know this, but there may be times when we do things we don’t really want to do because of external pressures, or circumstances that affect how we proceed. Sometimes others intervene in ways that hold us in place, or situations arise that keep us from doing things exactly the way we prefer. Although we are strong and know what we want, the momentum of something out of our control might make turning in a different direction very difficult. Tradition is powerful and even if we choose to do things differently, the influence of those around us might keep us from proceeding. The patterns of family, and the routines of our relationships can be very defined and difficult to change. If we try, there may be serious push back and insistence on compliance with the norm and what is expected. We can do anything we like, but changing direction and going against the flow takes real desire and determination. We can do anything we like, but not everything will come easily. If we’re ready for a change and want to step away from where we’ve been, nothing can stop us. We just need to decide exactly what we want, and step forward. There isn’t only one way to live well. We can change anything we like and have the lives we want the most. Momentum is powerful, but we are stronger than any influence around us. Every single destination is possible, and with patience and clarity, we will reach them all.

Mediocrity and conformity are easy to achieve. We can go along with whatever is happening and simply agree with whatever is decided. Riding in the backseat will certainly take us along on the trip but if we aren’t driving, we will never go where we most want to be. If we’re comfortable doing what others are doing, we can keep our heads down for as long as we like. But our lives belong to us, and we are responsible for our own happiness. Nobody is going to make our dreams come true for us. We can take control of our own destinies, and create the lives we want the most.

It takes courage to step away from the crowd and move toward something new. Foreign territory is unknown, and it’s impossible to see the end from the beginning. We are intelligent and can certainly manage anything that comes. When we’re ready to achieve a new goal, the road will be there for us. Nothing is out of reach, and every dream is possible. By trusting ourselves and confidently moving forward, nothing can keep us from success.

Today if you’re ready to move toward your dreams, decide what you want the most and take the first step forward. Then take the next, and the next, and before long, you will have achieved the goal. You already know what you want, and have everything you need to reach anything you desire. Stand strong and be confident. The road ahead is waiting. Every dream is possible and you will make them yours.
