Everyone wants an easy life where things go well, the sun always shines, nothing ever gets in the way, and we’re all wealthy. It’s a nice dream but unfortunately we don’t live in fantasy land, we live in the real world. There will be times when everything sails along nicely and we’re comfortable just cruising on through, but those times cannot last forever. Eventually things will change, the road will turn, something will fall apart, and we’ll be faced with problems and issues that try our sanity and patience. Although we’re all capable of facing whatever comes, there may be times when there’s so much going wrong and we’re so overwhelmed we begin to feel like we can’t take anymore. We’re at the end of our rope, and are sure that if anything else bad happens we’re going to completely fall apart and die. Of course, even if our worst fears are realized and our whole lives are turned upside down we probably won’t die. We may suffer desperate pains of loss or disappointment, we may find it hard to process what’s happening, and we may lose our way for a time. But we are stronger and more capable than we imagine, and no matter how bad the situation seems, can find our way through. Nothing lasts forever, and change is constant. Whatever is happening now is going to change, but when that happens is anybody’s guess. We can stop, set our emotions aside for a moment, and look at everything objectively. There is always a way forward, and with focus and determination, we will prevail. Life can be hard, and unexpected things will happen, but we are powerful and wise, and can always reach success.
Sometimes it can seem like we can’t win. Everything is working against us and nothing we try helps. Perhaps the timing for what we’re trying to do isn’t right, maybe someone is standing in our way and refuses to move, or issues have arisen that make our forward progress impossible. Getting stuck doesn’t mean the goal is unreachable. Every goal is possible but they aren’t all possible today. If we can’t move forward, we can turn in another direction and work on something else. As time passes our situation will change, and we will be able to return and start again.
We only have control over our own decisions. Trying again and again to open a locked door will not move us forward. There are many roads to every destination, and if the one we’re on stops or gets blocked, we don’t have to stand and wait for it to change. We can try a different approach and go a different way. We are intelligent and there is no problem too tangled for us to unravel. Every destination is there for us, and we will reach them all.
Today if nothing is working and you feel frustrated and overwhelmed, remember all the times you’ve been successful. You are wiser and more capable than you think you are. Every blessing is there for you. Be patient and trust yourself. You know what you want and have everything you need to get it. Stand strong and step forward with confidence. There is great success ahead and it will be yours.
