Life is filled with limitless possibilities. The whole world is there for us and there are endless things we can do, and places we can go. When we decide we want to accomplish a goal, we may create a plan that is well thought out and clear. When we’re ready, we may confidently step forward sure we’ll reach the goal and achieve success. It’s never possible to see the future, or what lies around the next bend. We may move forward easily for a time, and then suddenly something changes, and the road ahead is closed. Someone or something has put a brick wall in our path, and it’s impossible to move beyond it. If the wall is very high and impossible to climb over, we may decide to give up and move on to something else, and that is our prerogative. However, if we want to reach the goal, one brick wall will never be enough to keep us from it. The road we’re on may no longer be possible, and at first, we may see no other alternatives. But as we consider our situation and look around at all the possibilities, we will discover a new way ahead. There are no destinations in life that have only one road leading to them. There are endless options, and if we take our time and look carefully, we’ll find the one that works for us. A high brick wall may be daunting, and there may be no way to scale and overcome it, but it can’t reach to the ends of the earth. It will never go on forever. There will be an end and a way to circumvent. We can be confident that no matter what stands in front of us and blocks the way ahead, we will find a way around. There are few paved, open roads to the goals we desire, but whatever is worth achieving is worth working for. We know what we want, and nothing can keep us from success. We are smart and more powerful than we imagine and will reach every destination.
Some people may be very confident they have the answers we need to reach success. They may believe they know us well, tell us how we should proceed, point out where we should go, and give us lots of advice. Of course, we can listen to any advice offered, but we know ourselves better than anyone else. We know what we want and there will never be only one way to get to reach any goal. We can decide how we’ll proceed, and with determination and focus, find success.
Some goals are difficult to reach. There may be other people making decisions that slow our progress, or complications that make it hard to move ahead. If we’ve been pushing against a lot of obstacles and have made little headway, we may begin to believe it’s impossible, and we’ll never reach the prize. Our progress may be slow, but if we keep our eyes focused on the road ahead, and continue moving forward, nothing can keep us from success. Every goal is possible, and we will win.
Today if the road you’ve been on has disappeared and the goal looks impossible, trust yourself. You have already overcome many difficult challenges and succeeded. Nothing is strong enough to hold you in place or too complex for you to figure out. You are amazing and powerful. Look at all the options possible and step forward with confidence. Every goal is there for you and you will succeed.
