Life can get complicated and we may be surprised by events that change our direction abruptly and bring stress and struggle. We never know what lies ahead, and the road we’re on may turn suddenly taking us somewhere we never wanted to go. People around us may make decisions that impact us, and there are countless things out of our control. Even when we’re trying to remain focused on the road ahead, we may be diverted and pushed away from the goals we’re trying to achieve. If the change is dramatic and intense, we may feel like we’re under water, trying to find a way to breathe. It’s not easy to quickly find our way forward after an unexpected sharp turn. There will always be a way through anything that comes, but finding it may require time and patience, both of which may be in short supply. If the situation is confusing or convoluted, we may feel completely lost trying to figure out what to do. Surprises happen, and our lives may get complicated but there isn’t anything so difficult we can’t find the answers we need. We can step back and look at everything openly and objectively, and see all the parameters of what we’re dealing with. Then we can more effectively begin to unravel the issues before us until the road opens and we’re able to take a step forward. Every problem has a solution and we are smart enough to find it. A new, unexpected road may disorient us temporarily but we have everything we need to stand firm and find the way ahead. Being under water is a temporary situation and we will rise and reach the air in plenty of time. We are capable and wise. Nothing is too complex for us, and we will find our way through any complication that comes.
We live in the world with billions of other people, all of whom are making decisions and doing things that may negatively impact our lives. We can’t control anyone else’s actions but we’re always in control of what we do. If the bottom falls out of our plans, we can start again. If the road we’ve been on suddenly gets blocked and stops, we can turn and choose another. There will always be many ways to every destination we desire and no delay or detour can keep us from success.
As we plan our way forward, we may try to be ready for any possible complications. No matter how well we prepare there will likely be times when something unexpected arises. We’re in control of our lives and can always give up and walk away, sacrificing our goals because things got complicated, or we can look at everything carefully and push ahead despite the problem. We can reach any goal we desire. Nothing can hold us in place if we’re determined to move forward. There is no goal beyond our reach and we will find success.

You are amazing and capable, and nothing can hold you down. Look at everything clearly, and choose the best way forward. Stand tall and take a step toward the destination you desire.
