Faster Faster

2 Aug

Life is full of opportunities and possibilities for success. There are endless options to consider and unlimited chances to achieve anything we want. Most of us will have plenty of time to plan and accomplish many of the goals we desire. We can decide what we want most, make a plan and then begin forward until we reach it. Every dream is possible and with focus and determination, nothing can keep us from reaching any destination. Our lives belong to us and we’re in control of what we do and how we do it, but there may be pressures from others around us to go faster, and push harder to get to the goal as quickly as possible. If we’re intimidated by them, or they have authority over us, we may try to cut corners and skip over steps in an effort to accomplish the goal in ways that satisfy them. We can try to go faster and faster, and we might succeed but rushing ahead without thought or caution might end up working against us in the long run. Doing something half way in order to get there quicker will never bring us satisfaction or excellence. It would be great if we could achieve our goals instantaneously simply because we desire them, but that will never happen. We have to work to get them, and although there may be some paved roads ahead that allow us to move quickly, there will likely be complications and details that require our attention and hold us up. If we ignore problems that creep up, we might be able to get by, but they may come back to bite us in the end. Going faster doesn’t always bring us the best results. We can rush and rush, and push ourselves to the limit, and we might get to the goal quicker, but what we leave undone will remain unfinished until we go back and address it. Every goal is possible but we don’t have to accomplish them all today. By taking the time we need to address any problems or complications, and tie up all the loose ends, we’ll be able to achieve the goal effectively and completely. We are capable of greatness and nothing is out of reach. With wisdom and patience, every destination is possible, and we will reach them all.

We know what we want and can design our lives any way we like, but there are lots of people around us and they may have other ideas. We may get unsolicited advice and told we need to go here or there, or do this or that, which fits someone else’s idea of how we should live. We’re all entitled to our own opinions, but they belong solely to us, and nobody completely understands what anyone else wants or needs. We can listen to any suggestions we receive, and then choose what’s best for us. We don’t have to follow anyone else’s ideas or time tables. The road ahead is ours to choose, and we can do anything we desire.

There is a lot of pressure in the world to do more, do it better, and do it faster. We are bombarded with suggestions that we should strive harder and push further, but nobody knows us better than we know ourselves. Our lives belong to us, and we know how we want to live them. By being authentic to our own personal desires, and choosing the roads that take us where we most want to go, we will find great happiness and satisfaction. Every single destination is possible and nothing is too far away or too difficult for us to achieve. We can do things our way, and reach success.

Today if you’re being pushed to go faster to get to a goal, think about what you want the most. Look at all the options possible, and choose the best way forward. You can do things your way and achieve great success. Choose the best roads ahead and step forward with clarity and confidence. You are amazing and capable, and nothing is impossible. You can have the life you dream of, reach every destination and make your dreams come true.
