The world is a big place with billions of people. Customs and cultures are different and what we value changes depending on circumstances and where we are. Some things are worth more in one area than another. If we live in a snow-covered wasteland, fresh fruits and vegetables are highly valued and desired. However, if we live in the topics where the temperatures are always intense and food grows virtually on its own, ice is treasured. Worth is used to indicate value, and there are endless examples of placing value on things, but what about us? Does our value change depending on where we live or what we do? Are we worth less if we live a simple life than if we we’re rich and famous? Does it depend on how many friends we have or what we’ve accomplished? We are the only person exactly like us in all of creation, since the beginning of time and until the end. We are rarer than the rarest diamond, more precious than the finest gold, and worth more than anything in the whole world. Our worth is limitless and infinite. Nobody can replace us, and without our presence everything would be different. Even the meekest among us possesses inestimable worth. Knowing that, we can have great confidence that we are important and necessary. We don’t have to prove our worth to anyone. We are valuable simply because we are here. Everything we do embellishes our lives and the lives around us in some way. Each action enriches us and teaches us something new, and we can step forward with confidence and surety. Our influence brings depth and variety to the world around us and deepens the experiences of others. We can trust in our own personal worth, and step forward toward any destination, confident we will prevail and reach the goal.
Some people have very high opinions of themselves, and think they have the answers for everyone around them. They may tell us what they think we should do, where we should go, how we should dress, and a thousand other suggestions. We can always listen to any advice we’re given, but nobody is more aware of our desires or needs than we are. We are perfectly capable of designing our own lives in accordance with our own choices. Nothing can keep us from anything we desire, and with focus and determination we can do anything.
We may be in a relationship where someone belittles us and tells us we are nothing. They point out our flaws and exaggerate their power over us. Nobody is perfect and we all have things we want to change or modify. That doesn’t mean we are defective in some way – it only means we’re human. We’re all important and nobody is worth more than anyone else. If someone else doesn’t believe that, that’s their loss. We are valuable and perfect, just as we are, and nothing can diminish our worth.
Today if you feel small and insignificant, remember you are unique and a gift to the world. You are amazing and valuable, and we are all blessed because you are here. Let your light shine and step forward with confidence. Every single dream is there for you and you will make them yours.
