The world is a huge place with billions of people. It’s impossible to know everyone, go everywhere and see all there is to offer. There’s a lot going on, and there is no way to know when someone else’s choices will affect our decisions, and hold us in place. We’re in control of our lives and can create our own personal journeys, deciding what we most want to accomplish. The road we’re on is long, but the road doesn’t belong to us alone, and it may twist and turn, winding around toward destinations we never wanted. We control what we do, but have no control over any other factors. Complications may stop our progress, others may enter in and divert our direction, and things may go wrong that keep us from moving ahead. We can’t know what lies beyond what we can see. There may be great opportunities wide open to us, or we may hit a brick wall. If we’re on the same road we’ve traveled before, and all the characters are the same, we may think we can predict how things will go. We might get it right, but change is constant, and people will sometimes surprise us. The person we thought we could rely on may fail to show, and the one we never trusted may step up and take control. There is no way to really know what will happen, but if we’re flexible and willing to adjust, we’ll find our way. Sometimes we’ll be comfortable and agree with what’s going on, and other times we may decide to step away and do something else. We can choose any path we desire, and go anywhere we like. Every opportunity is there for us, and by doing what’s necessary, we can have the lives we want the most.
Nobody can predict the future, but if we’ve been working a particular job for a while, and know everyone else involved, we may feel comfortable and able to predict with some certainty, what will happen next. But life is full of surprises, and just when we think we’re finally on solid ground, something may change that makes us stumble. Nothing stays the same forever, and the winds of change are constant. Unforeseen things will arise, but we’re capable and intelligent, and no matter what comes, will find our way.
Life is long but it seems our days fly by quickly. If we’re busy with details and responsibilities, when we finally look up, we may discover that significant time has gone by. Our lives are important and if we want to accomplish our personal goals, we must plan for them and then do what is needed to move forward and claim them. We can do anything but just drifting along will never make our dreams reality. All the wisdom and courage we need to have the lives we want is already there inside us. We can be confident as we move ahead, and sure of success.
Today if you aren’t moving toward the destinations you desire, decide what you want, and make a plan to succeed. There are unlimited blessings waiting for you, and every dream is possible. Step forward with confidence. You are amazing and powerful, and nothing can keep you from any goal you desire. It’s all there for you. Move forward, and claim it.
