Everyone is different, and we each have our own specific talents and abilities. What is difficult for one, is easy for another, and everyone expresses a completely unique package of gifts. Just like the super heroes we’ve heard about, we all have an ability that is powerful and exclusive to us. It’s easy to identify amazing musical talents, or artistic skills that enhance and beautify the world around us. But there are lots of other gifts that aren’t as obvious, but still impressive and incredible. Maybe we’re extremely patient, or have the ability to understand others easily, or perhaps we’re emotionally strong and stable, and able to endure more than others. We might be very wise and insightful, or ambitious and intelligent. The scope of capabilities and capacities is unlimited. We all have something special but nobody can tell us what our super power is. We must uncover and discover it ourselves. Everyone gets something special and nobody is exempt. We all have something unique and powerful within us, and once we identify what our particular personal gifts are, we can use them to move ourselves forward and help those around us. The world is filled with billions of people and no two are exactly the same. Each person brings something different and individual that embellishes everything around them. Using the talents and powers we’ve been given to compliment and strengthen those around us will bring us great satisfaction and personal joy. We are an asset to the world and when we share our gifts with others, everyone benefits. The whole world is better because we are here. We are powerful and capable of bringing light to every situation.
When we see the profound abilities others possess, we may feel we are lacking. People may do impressive things that bring great attention and honor, and when they excel and we don’t share their particular talents, we may shrink and think we have nothing to offer. Every single person changes the world in some way. We don’t have to be loud and obvious to be effective in creating a positive change. The gifts we have are remarkable and make us who we are. We can be confident that our very presence compliments and enriches the world around us.
Most of us will never be famous, or Olympic stars, or invent something that changes the whole world. Our lives may seem ordinary and plain when compared to those who do amazing and incredible feats of daring or intellect. However, every single life is important and essential to our entire creation. Every day we have the chance to do something that helps someone else or makes things easier or better for those around us. We have great gifts to offer, and with each step we take and each decision we make, we can bring great joy and happiness to ourselves and everyone around us.
Today if you feel small and that your contribution means little, remember there has never been, and never will be anyone else exactly like you. You are unique and precious. When you share your gifts with us, we all benefit. Be confident. You are changing the world for good, and we are all blessed because you are here.
