Shadows

There are unlimited things we can accomplish in our lives and endless places we can go. The world is a huge place filled with myriad opportunities and chances to try new things. Nothing is out of reach but sometimes, when we finally achieve a goal we’ve been striving for, it isn’t exactly like we thought it would be. Life is always changing and we might find the landscape to the goal we desired has changed as well. It’s like looking at our shadow. Shadows are merely reflections. They represent the item or person being reflected but they aren’t exact. They resemble what’s in front of them but are skewed and modified in ways that take away clarity and complete identity. We can see what they represent but the picture isn’t well defined. When we’re pushing toward a goal, we may imagine how it looks, and hope it will be everything we desire. When we get there, it may be exactly as we imagined, or it might be only a resemblance of our idea. It’s disappointing to reach a destination and find out it isn’t what we thought. We may think we’ve wasted our time and efforts to get there, only to find it’s something we don’t want. But time spent pushing ahead and moving forward is never wasted. Every experience teaches us something new to carry with us, and even if we aren’t where we want to be, the journey to get there teaches us a lot. Everything is always changing, and sometimes our lives don’t go exactly the way we think they will. If we’re unhappy where we are, we can change course and choose another road. There are endless destinations available and we can do whatever we desire. Our lives are always in our control, and with persistence and patience, we can achieve anything.

An incredible entrance will not replace an overall bad experience. Some things look good at the beginning but once we get involved with them, we begin to see they aren’t what they appeared to be. We never have to continue any journey we don’t want. We can stop and turn around, find the road we most want to travel, and begin again. It doesn’t matter how long we were on the first journey or what we planned to do. We can change course and start in a new direction.

People are complicated and don’t always share everything about themselves. As we spend time with them, we may begin to see they are different in many ways than we first noticed, and if their behavior traits are difficult for us, we can step back and decide how we want to proceed. We never have to continue any associations we don’t want. Ensuring our connections are positive and encouraging will bring us great satisfaction and happiness.

Today if you’ve reached a destination you’ve been working toward but it’s not exactly what you thought it would be, look at the options possible and decide how you want to proceed. You’ve learned a lot with each step and all that information and wisdom will go with you moving forward. Every goal you desire is possible. Decide what you want and step forward. Nothing is out of reach. You can make your dreams come true and achieve complete happiness.

Stand Still

There are all kinds of people in the world. Many of them are nice, and we make a lot of friends and acquaintances as we go through our lives. Most people try to do their best and are helpful to those around them, but some have an agenda that doesn’t include being kind to others. If we come in contact with someone who is mean or rude, who despitefully uses us to get something they want, it will be difficult and unpleasant. We may try to navigate the situation with grace but we don’t have to stand still and let someone abuse us. We’re in control of our lives and if we’re in a situation that is uncomfortable, we can step away. We never have to remain anywhere we don’t want to be. No matter who we are, what we do, where we live, or what our roles are, we are important and deserve respect. If someone around us isn’t honoring that respect, we don’t need to stand still and endure it. Walking away doesn’t mean we’re weak or can’t handle conflict. It means we value our worth and will protect it. We are responsible for ourselves and know what we need and where we want to go. Being proactive when problems occur and doing what is necessary to ensure we manage the best way possible, will move us forward and help us reach our goals. There isn’t anyone else like us in all of creation. We are unique and have gifts to offer nobody else possesses. We can ensure the connections we build take us where we want to go and provide positive influences that help us move ahead. Every goal is possible and we have everything we need to manage whatever comes and find success.

Some people are very strong willed and internally focused. They have great confidence in their decisions and choices, and want others to follow along. We may certainly go along with anything or anyone we choose, but we need never sacrifice our own initiative and creativity. Nobody knows everything and we can offer our ideas and suggestions to those around us. We are wise and capable, and can find the road to any destination we desire. Others may choose their own roads, and we may choose ours. All the answers we need to reach success are always available to us, and we will find them.

When we’re around a powerful person who dominates the situation, if we don’t agree we can speak up. Power doesn’t always equate to success. Being loud and forceful doesn’t mean we have all the answers. If our choices are being constrained and held back because someone else wants us to do things their way, we may decide to step out on our own. Our viewpoint is important and if we can’t express it where we are, we can move. Our lives belong to us and we can do anything we want. We can have the lives we dream about and reach every goal we desire.

Today if someone is telling you how to live your life and you want something different, step away and begin again. You know where you want to go and have everything you need to get there. Trust yourself and move forward. Nothing is out of reach and you can make all your dreams come true. Be confident. You’re amazing and we’re all blessed because you are here.

Power Play

There are lots of influences in our lives. There are people who impress us with one thing or another, ideas about what we should be doing or where we should go, and our own interpretations and prejudices also play a role. We can ignore anything we like, but sometimes certain situations take hold of us and because we want them, we bend our decisions around them. We control every decision we make and can decide what we’ll take on and what we’ll obey. There are unlimited things we can do, endless places to go, and we’ll be offered many opportunities for change and growth. There will always be something new to try but nothing comes without some sort of trade off. Maybe it’s our time, our attention, our money, our freedom or a thousand other things. The price depends on the situation and what we’re trying to gain. Our lives are designed by us and reflect the goals we most want to achieve. When we know where we want to go, and then do what is required to get there, we’ll find satisfaction and happiness. We can leave it all up to chance and just let things roll out as they will. There’s no doubt we’ll end up somewhere but without our input, it’s unlikely to be somewhere we wanted to go. Taking charge of our decisions, and choosing the road ahead will ensure we reach the destinations we most desire. We can do anything, accomplish any goal, and go anywhere we want, but we must control the steps ahead if we want to reach success. Nothing is beyond our ability. We really can have the lives we dream about. There isn’t anything we can’t manage or figure out. We are wise and capable, and more powerful than we realize. Every dream is possible and with focus and determination, we’ll reach them.

Life can be complicated and sometimes we have to put something we desire on hold until our situation changes and allows us the freedom to move ahead. However, there will never be a perfect time for anything. If we wait until absolutely everything lines up perfectly, odds are we’ll never move ahead. We don’t need perfection to reach success. We can start forward as soon as we have the chance and work out any details in the way as we proceed. Each step forward will take us closer to the goals we desire, and we can be confident we will succeed.

Nobody has a life filled with only good times and lucky breaks. We will all face adversity of some kind and have to push through. When the road gets rough or there is an obstacle in our way, we have everything we need to find the answers that will open the doors ahead. We learn new skills as we overcome each complication and when we reach the goal will have more information than when we began. Life is a journey filled with all kinds of unexpected events, twists and turns. We can be sure that no matter what comes, we will prevail.

Today if you’re trying to move toward a goal but there is something blocking your progress, step back and look at everything objectively. There will always be another road that will take you forward. You are powerful and strong, and can do anything you desire. Be confident and step forward. Every goal is possible and you will win.

The Price

We make many decisions as we go through our lives and each choice defines who we are and what we stand for. We try to make good decisions and most of the time we’re successful. Of course, nobody is perfect and we’re going to falter from time to time. However, taking a wrong turn accidentally is different from making a bad decision because we hope to gain something by trickery or deceit. One area that causes some issues is when money is involved. Financial gain is a big motivator and if we aren’t careful, it may motivate us into doing something questionable at best, and unethical or illegal at worst. They say everyone has a price and it’s determined by the choices we make. For instance, if we get home from the store and discover the clerk accidentally dropped a roll of quarters into our bag, and we don’t return it – the price of our honesty and ethics is worth about ten dollars. That’s not much money to trade away our nobility and virtue. We can justify the decision not to return the money by saying the store makes plenty and doesn’t need it, it’s a long way to drive and will cost us time and gas to return it, or we can see it as an unintended gift. No reason we come up with for not returning what doesn’t belong to us is valid. We are in control of our lives and can live them any way we want. If we want to be honest in our all dealings, we must make choices that reflect that decision. Our ethical standards will define us in many ways. Others will see the decisions we make and base their ability to trust us on what we choose. We are valiant and important, and can make excellent decisions that show others who we are. The whole world is blessed because we are here, and we can ensure our influence is beneficial by choosing well.

People aren’t what they say they are, they really are what they do. Some will say they are honest, but then do things that reflect a different expression altogether. Maybe they cheat on their time sheet at work, saying everyone does it. Or they manipulate situations to make them appear more successful and further along than they are. There are unlimited ways to shape things to make them appear different than they really are. True honesty is a virtuous and impressive trait that brings goodness and value to every situation. We can choose wisely, and make excellent decisions.

We must decide what kind of people we want to be. We can determine there is no price high enough for us to trade our honesty and valor. When we live with integrity, people will trust us and doors will open that might otherwise remain out of reach. Every choice we make takes us somewhere. We can choose the paths that take where we most want to go, and reflect the highest standards possible. Being honest in everything we do embellishes our lives, and brings us satisfaction and true happiness.

Today if you’re tempted to do something beneath your values in order to gain something you want, remember, every decision you make defines who you are. You are amazing and important. Show us your wisdom and integrity by choosing well. We’re all blessed because you are here. Choose wisely and step forward with confidence. Every success is there for you and choosing well will ensure you reach it.

Asking For It

There are lot of things going on in our lives all the time. Everything is constantly changing and although we may have a good hold on what’s happening now, it could all shift in a moment and then suddenly we’re in foreign territory. Nobody knows everything and when we find ourselves in situations where we aren’t sure how to proceed, we can always ask for help. There will often be someone around who has information that will assist us, but if we never inquire or open the door to communication, we won’t have access to it. Some people feel uncomfortable asking for help. Perhaps they perceive it as a sign of weakness or defeat, but in truth, asking for assistance doesn’t mean either of those things. It’s just asking a question and enables us to connect to possibilities that otherwise may not be found. If we’re determined to find all the answers on our own and don’t involve others, we may find our way ahead but it might take a lot longer and be more difficult than it needs to be. There are lots of sources available to us and asking for information and advice may make things much quicker and easier than trying to do it all by ourselves. We’re good at many things and always have the potential for great success. By being open to those around us and welcoming help when we need it, our success may be magnified and increased. There are unlimited roads to every destination but because of complications in the way, we may not see them. Allowing others to point the way and help direct us around any obstacles will move us forward and help us reach our goals. Learning to ask questions will open all the doors ahead and pave the way forward. We are wise and capable, and nothing can keep us from any destination we desire.

We can’t anticipate what we don’t know and sudden changes may put us in situations that are unfamiliar and confusing. If the situation is complex and we don’t know where to turn or how to proceed, asking for guidance can save a lot of time and effort. There is no need to re-invent the wheel. We can lean on someone else’s understanding until we gain our own.

When we enter a dark room at night, it’s hard to see. If the room is familiar to us, we may be able to navigate through the darkness and still find our way, but if we’re in a new place, that will be difficult, if not impossible. Turning on a light immediately changes everything. We can see clearly and move forward without any problems. The same is true when we’re moving through our lives. If we don’t have any idea where we are or what lies ahead, getting help from others is like turning on the lights. They can show us the way forward, and help us navigate through until we find our way. Success is always possible, and we can reach any destination getting assistance along the way.

Today if you’re stuck and can’t see the way forward, ask those around you for help and assistance. They have information that will help you open the doors ahead and continue toward your goal. Everything you need is available. Arm yourself with additional information and step ahead. Nothing is out of reach and every goal is possible. You will reach your destination and find great success.
