We make countless decisions as we navigate through our days. Many of them are trivial and have no lasting impact on our lives, but some have far reaching consequences. Sometimes the simplest, seemingly innocent choices can turn our lives toward something we don’t want and never planned on. There is no way to read the future and many things are out of our control. If we don’t pay attention we may choose quickly and move on only to end up with complications we never wanted and aren’t prepared for. Small things may combine to become big issues and before we know it we’re tangled up in ways we never imagined. It’s easy to coast through our lives and ignore cues that something may change. We’re busy and sometimes don’t take time to review all the facts before we move forward. Rushing through in order to move on in a hurry may work against us. It does no good to do something quickly if it results in a situation that takes time to clean up. We are capable of making excellent decisions but they require thought and preparation. We are responsible for every decision we make and we can take a moment to look ahead and do our best to ensure we are choosing well. We can’t blame a negative choice on those around us, bad timing, or any other convenient excuse. We own it. If we’ve chosen poorly and now have a mess to deal with we can face it head on, do what is needed to correct our course, and continue forward. We can have any kind of life we desire and our choices are what create it for us. We are wise enough to choose well and make decisions that take us where we want to go.
When things go wrong because of something we’ve done it’s easy to shift the blame. We can say we were influenced by others around us, were having a bad day, or didn’t have all the facts before we decided. All of these things may be true but we are the only ones responsible for the choices we make. We have enough wisdom and patience to see any situation clearly. We know how to make good decisions and when we do the chances of things going our way are increased.
There will be times when we’re not sure of the road ahead but if we make the best choice possible we will be able to manage any complication that arises. Confidence comes over time as we make choices that bring us the results we’re seeking. There isn’t anything we can do and do well. We can trust ourselves to choose wisely and fearlessly move forward toward our goals. Complications may come but we have everything we need to untangle any problem we must face. We can move forward with courage and make excellent choices. When we do, all our dreams can come true.

You are amazing and strong. Think about your next step and choose the road that will take you to your goal. Nothing is too far away for you to reach. All options are possible.
