Dark Shadows

Our lives are always in our control and we can do anything, and go anywhere we want. It’s nice to have agreement from those around us when we make decisions, but their agreement doesn’t have to be a deciding factor. We don’t need permission for our choices and can do whatever we feel is best for us, even if we must go alone. Everyone has their own opinions and ideas, and we might decide to do something that someone close to us opposes. They may try to dissuade us and if that doesn’t work, may resort to criticism and ridicule. They may tell us we’re heading down a dark road and will face problems and suffering because of our decision. While it’s true we’ll all make at least one disappointing choice in our lives, it’s also true that we’re in control of our lives, and if things go wrong, we can turn and correct the situation. Nobody knows us better than we know ourselves and nobody else has our personal intuition or insight. We are capable of choosing the best roads ahead and can reach any destinations we desire. If those around us don’t agree, they may stay behind. We can move forward on our own and achieve any goals we set. Dark shadows may fall on us, but we have everything we need to move back into the light. We can choose the roads that will take us closer to where we want to be, and make decisions that will ensure success. If the road turns and things get complicated, we know how to adjust our direction and find the way forward. Everything we desire is possible and nothing is beyond our reach. We can create the lives we want the most and move forward with confidence that we will succeed.

Change is a challenge for everyone. Some people are more resistant to it than others, and will do whatever is necessary to keep things the same. If we propose something new, they may react strongly and refuse to agree. If we need their cooperation to move forward and can’t get it, we may have to set the goal aside until our situation changes. If cooperation isn’t necessary, we may listen patiently to any comments and advice we may receive, and then proceed to move forward on our own. We are strong and capable, and can do anything we desire.

We may face a time when someone wants us to do something we’re uncomfortable with. Maybe we’re unsure we can succeed, or the road ahead is unknown and complicated. If we’re compelled to participate, we can trust ourselves to find the way forward. If things go well, we’ll find satisfaction in success. If they falter and we stumble, we’ll learn from the experience. There is something to be gained no matter what happens. Every step teaches us something of value, and we are wise enough to gain from each lesson.

Today if you’ve decided to change your direction and those around you disagree, decide what you want the most. You don’t need permission to design your life. Every possibility is available and you can do anything you desire. Step forward on the road that will take you where you most want to go. Your success is waiting, and will bring you great happiness and satisfaction.

Make Me

We know what we need to do and there may be times when we need someone else to accomplish something before we can move forward.  If they aren’t as motivated as we are we may have to wait.  We can only control ourselves and our decisions and even if we ask again and again, we may have to wait until the other party decides to complete the task.  It’s maddening when what’s important to us is reliant on someone else’s actions and they are not moving forward.  There is no way to make anyone do anything.  But if we cannot continue forward with a project or plan because someone else has stopped our progress we have options.  We can look for a way around the action we’re waiting for, we can develop another plan to move forward without the cooperation requested, or we can set the plan aside for now and work on other projects.  We don’t need to be held hostage any longer than we desire.  We are always in control of our own lives and if things don’t move forward in our first plan, we can create another one.  We don’t need to give up control of our progress forward.  There are always many ways to every goal.  If we must set the plan aside for now, we can, and return to it when everything is in place.  We are smart enough to find the way to any destination we desire.  We can adjust our trajectory and turn our course to find the way forward.

Some people are very internally focused.  They only want to work on their personal goals and if asked to help with someone else may agree, but then set it aside until they decide to address it.  Since their objectives revolve around their personal desires they may not recognize the importance of completing tasks to help others.  We don’t have to wait indefinitely for them to comply, and when we’re ready can find another way around the issue.  We can work around any obstacle and reach any goal.

There may be times when others don’t agree with a goal we’re seeking.  They may not believe it’s the best choice or feel it’s too difficult to achieve.  If we must work with them to get the job done we may face many obstacles if they question every decision we make.  Everyone has their own viewpoint about the road ahead and we may ask for their suggestions for ways to accommodate everyone’s ideas about how to move forward.  Bringing all the voices together may help us advance and find success even if there is dissention.  No goal is out of reach and we can patiently and thoughtfully move forward through complications and problems as they arise.  There isn’t anything we can’t accomplish.  Success is always available to us and we will achieve it.

Today if you’ve been waiting for someone to do something that will allow you to move forward and nothing has changed, review your options and find another way around the issue.  There are many roads and directions available and you will find the right way ahead.  Every goal is within your reach and you will achieve it.  Keep your eyes open.  All the answers you need are there for you.  Success is just ahead and you will find it.
