Carrying the Mountain

Everyone wants an easy life. We may dream about simply lying on a beach in the sun with no worries, and just floating through our days in blissful peace. It’s a nice dream, but for most of us, it’s far from reality. Most of the time we have responsibilities to take care of, details to manage, problems to solve and endless unexpected twists that take our time and attention. Sure we can take a vacation, and those days away from regular life are refreshing and fun, but eventually we must return. Nobody gets a perfect life. We all face trouble from time to time, and if we are going through something overwhelming and extremely difficult, we may feel the heavy weight of trial and despair. The road up the mountain may be hard, and we might stumble and fall. If we’re inundated me might feel like we have to carry everything in order to get through, but that’s not necessary. We never have to carry the mountain to get over it. Climbing it is enough. There is no need to let the issue, whatever it is, completely overcome us. If the journey is too steep, we can stop and take a rest. If the road is too tangled, we can look for another way around. Every problem has a solution, and by taking things one piece at a time, sometimes one breath at a time, we’ll find every answer needed to reach success. Nothing is so convoluted and difficult that we can’t figure it out. There is no rush. We can take our time and manage things as they arise. We are smart and capable, and will find every answer we need. The road ahead is already there. With patience and clarity we will find it, and step ahead, sure of success.

Nobody knows our situation better than we do. We are the only ones with the insight and inspiration we need to move forward. Others may offer suggestions or simply tell us what we should do. Their opinions may help, but they are only opinions based on what they can see, which is rarely the whole story. We know the facts and how we want to proceed, and can trust ourselves to choose our next steps, confident we will prevail.

If we’re facing something completely foreign and have no idea what to do, we can reach out for help. Everyone’s experiences are different, and chances are someone near us will have information that will assist us in finding our way forward. If nobody has anything to offer, we can search for whatever facts we need to move us forward. All the answers will be there for us, and nothing can keep us from success. The destination is waiting, and we will reach it.

Today if you feel like you’re carrying a mountain of trouble, set it down. Look at everything objectively and choose your next step forward. This is not too difficult for you to manage. Trust yourself and be confident. You are amazing and powerful, and nothing can keep you from success.

All About the Fit

The world is filled with all kinds of options and ideas. There will always be more to do and see than we’ll ever be able to accomplish, and we’re only limited by our own personal desires. We may have an idea about something we want to pursue, and begin toward the goal only to discover as we get closer that it’s not exactly what we wanted. We can always change course or alter our plans at any time. It’s impossible to see the end of any road at the beginning, and if we find we’re headed in the wrong direction, can turn around and start again. We might choose something that works out great, and then something else that doesn’t fit at all. If others are involved they may encourage us to keep trying when things go wrong, and we can stay on track for as long as we like. But if the plan no longer takes us to what we really want, it will not lead us to success. When we purchase clothing, we have to try different styles and sizes until we find what fits. It does no good to buy something too big or too small that is impossible to wear. We may have to try several different things until we find the right fit, but when we do, everything works out well and we feel good. The same is true in our decisions. Some things look good at first but when we see more clearly how they’ll develop, may find they won’t work out. Nothing is permanent and every decision can be modified and adjusted. Once we decide what we want, we can begin moving forward and make any necessary changes as they arise. Every dream is possible and we already have everything we need to succeed. We can trust ourselves to choose the right fit and reach every goal.

Everyone has their own ideas and may give us all kinds of suggestions and point us in all kinds of directions. What they’re doing may work well for them, but that doesn’t mean it’s what we want. We can listen to all the advice offered, and then decide how we will proceed. Each person is unique and our dreams are specific to us alone. We can find our way forward and with confidence reach every destination.

It hurts to wear shoes that are too tight, and we may develop painful blisters as we struggle through. Wearing shoes that are too big isn’t much better, and we may stumble and fall because they get in the way. When we choose things that don’t fit where we want to go, we will suffer in much the same way. We might feel constricted, or fumble around looking for the next step. We already know what we want, and nothing can keep us from our goals. We can do what is needed right now to move toward success.

Today if you’ve been wandering around unsure of your direction, decide what you want the most and step forward. You are wiser and more powerful than you think you are. Nothing is out of reach, and you will succeed. Trust yourself and be confident. Every single dream is possible, and you will make them all yours.

Copy Cat

There are endless opinions and ideas floating around us all the time. The world is filled with differing viewpoints and there are limitless choices we can make. Although we can design our lives any way we like, we may face a time when there is pressure to conform. If the voices around us are powerful and loud, even if we disagree, we may decide to go along. Going along to get along is easier than standing our ground, and if we’re unsure or timid, we may buckle. Conforming may make the road ahead a little easier to navigate, but choosing someone else’s road will only take us where they’re going, and will never lead us to our own destinations. Copying someone else’s choices or behaviors will not enable us to live a clear, authentic life. We are unique. There isn’t anyone else like us in the whole universe and nobody can offer the gifts we have to share. Although it may be easier to go along to get along, nothing will bring us more satisfaction and happiness than choosing our own way. We all have so much to offer, and can be confident that our voices are important. We can be polite and patient, listen to every suggestion offered, and then choose our own path. We know what we want, and are strong enough, and wise enough to find our way forward. Choosing to be who we are, and honoring our own uniqueness will open new doors and pave the road ahead. Every dream we seek is there, waiting for us. By being honest with ourselves, and doing what we value most, we will find great reward and fulfillment. Nothing can keep us from anything we desire. By standing strong and stepping forward, we will reach every destination and success.

Some people are very confident and believe they have all the answers. They may tell us what we should do, how we should do it and where we should go. We can take any advice we like, but nobody, no matter how smart they think they are, can possibly know us better than we know ourselves. Our lives belong to us and we can do anything. By being true to who we are and what we want, we will reach every goal and find great happiness.

The power of the group can be intense. It’s easier to work with others if everyone follows the same path, but differences bring great depth and variety to our experience. There are endless roads to every destination and never one perfect way forward. By trusting ourselves, we can speak up and share our perspective. Everyone has something to offer and if we allow all voices to be heard, our experience will be enriched and deepened.

Uncovering

Our lives are a reflection of our choices. Every decision we make takes us somewhere and changes our path in some way. We can’t predict anything and sometimes our decisions take us places we never dreamed we’d go. There is no way to see around the next turn or know what others will do. Even when we try to choose well, sometimes our plans go up in smoke. If we take the time to look at all the options before us, and determine which will work before we begin, we’ll have a better chance of reaching success. There are endless sources of information and we are often bombarded with ideas and suggestions from every direction. Some people think they know what we need and may try to influence us to follow their lead. Others may purposely mislead us in an effort to achieve something for themselves. Believing whatever we hear is fraught with trouble. The loudest voice and brightest light don’t always lead us where we want to go. The first options that appear may not be our best choice. If we are eager to move forward, we may jump ahead without looking, and that might work out for us, or may take us in the wrong direction. Instead of rushing ahead, we can take some time to uncover the truth in every situation and see the best road ahead. The paved, clear path that’s been well traveled may look good, but easy access doesn’t always lead to success. Following everyone else will only take us where they’re going. By deciding what we want the most and then taking the time we need to find the best way forward, we can reach any goal or destination. We are intelligent and can make excellent decisions. We know what we want, and with patience and clarity, we can uncover all the facts, and reach every destination.

If we’re in a situation that isn’t what we want, and we aren’t happy, we can decide how we will proceed. We can choose to stay and complain, and do nothing to change it, or we can decide what we really want, and then take the first step forward. Being in the same place for a long time doesn’t mean we have to stay there forever. Our lives are ours to design, and we can change anything at any time. We deserve complete happiness, and when we’re ready, we can achieve it. Every blessing is always there for us. Nothing can keep us from success.

Some people are very persuasive. They know what to say and how to say it to get others to follow them. We may fall under their spell and end up somewhere we don’t want to be. We have everything we need to uncover the truth in any situation. We can listen politely, and then investigate the facts until we discover what is real. We never have to go along with anything we don’t want, and with purpose and intent, can control every decision we make, and reach our goals.

Today if you’re being pressured to follow along, look at everything openly and objectively. Uncover the truth of the situation and make the best choice moving forward. There is great success waiting for you and nothing can keep you from it. Be confident, and stand strong. You are more powerful and wise than you imagine, and you will prevail.

Pigs

There are all kinds of people in the world doing all kinds of things. Some are honest and above board, and we can trust them to tell the truth and clearly state their objectives. There are others though, who will do or say anything to get what they want. They don’t care about anyone but themselves and their own objectives, and will change facts to suit their agenda. They may lie to our faces, and adamantly profess they are being completely clear and honest. We may believe what they say, only to discover later that nothing is true. It’s painful and disappointing, and we may be devastated if we find ourselves accomplices in something we do not want and don’t support. Everyone is accountable for everything they do, but that accountability may not occur in the immediate future. Skillful liars and cheats know how to work the system, and those around them. The may perfect their con game in ways that make it hard to expose them, but truth always rises and cannot be held back indefinitely. Putting lipstick on a pig doesn’t change it. It’s still a pig. When all the facts are visible, and every lie is uncovered, we will see things as they truly are. It’s good to trust others, and we are never at fault when our trust has been betrayed. We can face things as they are, accept what’s gone wrong, and correct our course moving forward. Nobody can hold us down forever. Every truth will come to light, and we will find our way forward.

Our families and close friends are important connections. We want to support them and help them when they ask. We may face a time when they want us to go along with something untoward or dishonest. They may decide to cheat to achieve a goal they are seeking, and ask us to help them accomplish it. Although we care for them, doing things that compromise our own personal ethics and standards will not enhance our relationship. We never have to do anything we don’t agree with, and may politely and firmly decline any request.

Some people think honesty and ethics are on a sliding scale. They believe that being honest most of the time is enough and may think if nobody knows what they’re doing, they can break any rule without consequence. That may work for a time, but eventually every fact will be revealed, and every action displayed. There is no way to run from the truth. It is powerful and unstoppable. By choosing well, and holding fast to the standards we set, we can reach every goal successfully, and find great satisfaction and reward.

Today if someone is pushing you to go along with something you don’t agree with, stand firm. You know who you are and what you want. Set the example for truth, and be confident. You are a light to the world, and we’re all blessed because you are here. Show us your best, and every success will be yours.
