Life is filled with all kinds of experiences. We never know what tomorrow will bring or what will happen next. When things are going well and we feel happy and settled, it’s easy to keep moving ahead and focus on our goals. But life is fickle, and just when it seems the way ahead will be smooth and unobstructed, something may happen that changes everything. When the road turns, people let us down, destinations suddenly disappear, or anything else comes that turns our world upside down, we may be confused and unsure about how to proceed. Everything we experience changes us in some way. If we must face a very difficult and extreme situation that is painful and intense, we may learn many hard lessons and be forever different than we were before. When everything is fine, we may wish nothing would change, but it’s impossible to keep our lives the same indefinitely. Trouble will come to all of us, and nobody gets a free pass from hardship or heartbreak. When we’re suffering and miserable, pushing against a strong and challenging wind, it’s hard to see how it’s benefiting us, but trials and tribulations teach us about ourselves and the world around us. Looking back, we’ll realize we are much stronger than we thought we were, and more capable than we imagined. When the contest is over, we’ll know more than we knew before, and have greater insight for moving ahead. Life is full of challenges and tests. We can trust ourselves to face whatever comes, and have faith that no matter how hard things get, or how convoluted the problems become, we will find our way. Nothing is strong enough to overcome us. We have all we need to succeed.
When we’re young and think about our lives, we may dream about how wonderful it will be. We’ll be happy, everything will go well, and all our wishes will come true. Nobody dreams about a life with problems and trouble, but we’ll likely have times when nothing works out, and we get stuck. There is no genie waiting to grant our wishes, and what comes, will come. We are intelligent and wise, and can trust ourselves that if the bottom falls out, we’ll be able to find the answers we need, and reach success. Every dream we desire is possible, and we can reach them.
There is no one perfect way to live life. As we grow and learn more each day, our ideas about what we want to do, and where we want to go may change. Each experience brings us more information, and as we move forward, we refine where we’re headed. We can design our lives any way we like, and when we’re ready, can always start on a new journey. All our dreams are out there waiting for us. We can step forward with confidence, and make them ours.
Today if you’ve changed and want to modify your direction, decide what you want most and reset your course. Every destination is there for you. You have learned so much and you know what you want. There’s isn’t anything you can’t do, and nothing is too difficult for you to accomplish. Be sure and confident. Every dream is possible, and you will succeed.
