We’ll face many challenges and trials as we go through our lives. They may come from decisions we’ve made or have nothing to do with us. We never know what will happen next and we may get caught unaware and surprised by an unfortunate development. When we’re going through a difficult time, and trying hard to figure out what to do, it’s helpful to have the support of others. Having those around us cheering us on and giving us advice can make the road easier to navigate, and boost our morale. But there may be times when we are all alone in the struggle and wonder how we’ll get through. If everything depends on us, we may be unsure about how to proceed. We may be standing on our own and convinced there is nobody to help. Whatever we’re facing will surely be harder by ourselves than if there was someone beside us to ask and get counsel from. If we stumble trying to find our way, we may lose our confidence and begin to think we’re sunk, and we’ll never get through. While we may have to walk alone from time to time, we’ll never be in a place where there is no one to help us. There will always be someone with the answers we’re seeking, who can guide us and assure us of success. They may not be right next to us and we may have to look a little harder to find them, but they will be there. No matter what the question is or how confused we are, we can get the help we need. We may start out alone and hesitant, but if we need assistance, it will be there for us. However, it’s up to us to seek out those we need and enlist their help. Nobody will magically appear because we’re stuck. We are intelligent and capable, and when we need it, can get the help and assistance required to reach success. Nothing is out of reach and with patience and wisdom, we will find our way.
It’s nice when we can accomplish our goals on our own. It’s rewarding and satisfying to know we have what it takes to go where we want. But life is complicated and there will be times when going alone will be more difficult than we can manage. Asking for help doesn’t mean we aren’t capable of succeeding, or that we’re weak. Seeking out more information and assistance enables us to accomplish anything we desire. No man is an island. We’re all out here together. Making the most of all the resources around us will help us reach every destination and find great satisfaction.
It’s good to be independent and take care of ourselves. We are strong and capable, and can live our lives any way we like. Some roads are easy but others are tangled and twisted, and we may get stuck trying to move forward. When our cars get stuck, we can call a tow truck. If we get stuck, we can call on someone else for help. There is no need to stand mired in the mud indefinitely, determined to do it on our own. We can reach for someone to pull us out and help us continue forward.
Today if you’re trying to get through a difficult challenge and can’t move, seek out those around you and ask for help. You don’t have to do everything all by yourself. You have so much to offer and nothing is too far to reach. Get help when you need it and confidently move forward. Every dream is possible, and you will make them yours.
