Someone Else

Everyone is unique and we are all different in our own ways. We have our own dreams and desires, and our own opinions about how things should go and what should happen. If we’re confident and self-directed, we will make whatever plans we want and move toward the goals we want to achieve. By keeping our eyes on the road ahead, chances are we’ll accomplish much. But not everyone is sure about what they want or where they’re going. If we don’t know how we want to proceed, and see someone who seems to have everything together, we may decide to follow them. We may emulate the things they do, learn to talk like them and even dress like them in an attempt to feel connected and moving forward. It’s helpful to watch successful people and learn about how they get things done, but that doesn’t mean we need to be just like them in order to succeed as well. We all have specific and individual gifts to offer. Trying to be someone else will never bring us complete satisfaction or true success. We don’t have to be a carbon copy of anyone in order to reach our goals. We already have everything we need to prevail, and by trusting ourselves and choosing our own paths, we can reach any destination we desire. Every answer we need is there for us, and with clarity and confidence nothing is out of reach.

We are constantly bombarded with advertisements that tell us if we do one thing or another, act a certain way, dress like them, or buy what they are selling, we will find great success and happiness. The people in the ads are always beautiful and happy, and the promise is that if we do whatever it is they’re touting we’ll be beautiful and happy too. There is no one perfect way to live life, and endless roads to every destination. We know who we are and what we want to bring the success and happiness we desire. By choosing our own road and doing things our own way, we will reach every success.

Some people think they have all the answers. If they are loud or powerful, they may try to convince us to do what they say. We can do anything we like, but nobody knows us better than we know ourselves. We can be exactly who we are and move forward sure of success. There are endless roads ahead, and with determination and patience, we will find the one that works best for us, and proceed until we reach the goal.

Today if you’ve been copying someone else trying to reach success, remember there is greatness in you. You are amazing and highly capable. Make your own plans and trust yourself. Step forward toward the goal with confidence. Every single destination is waiting for you, and by keeping your eyes focused ahead, you will achieve great success.

Zero Resistance

Everyone is different and we all have ideas about how things should go and what we should do. We decide what goals we want, where we’ll go and choose every aspect of our own lives. We’re entitled to our own choices and can do anything we like. Some people think they have all the answers and know more than the rest of us. They may think their ideas are better than anyone else’s and may try to make us comply with their desires. If they will not tolerate any resistance, we may struggle when we must deal with them. Unless they have authority over us, we need never do anything we don’t want to do. It doesn’t matter if they insist, if they scream and holler or try to muscle us into compliance. We are in control of our lives and may live them according to our own desires – not somebody else’s. We can listen to any advice or direction we’re given, and then decide what we’ll do. If we’re intimidated or threatened by someone, we might go along with what they want, but control over our lives is ours alone. We need never give it up to go along. We don’t need anyone’s permission or agreement to do anything we like. Every destination and goal are possible, and if we keep our eyes looking forward, nothing can keep us from success.

It’s always easier if everyone is doing the same things. If we’re all going in the same direction there are often fewer complications and tangles along the way. Being the same as everyone else might be easier, but we’re all unique and have our own perspectives. Our ideas are valuable and important, and we have the courage and wisdom we need to express them clearly and effectively. We can change direction at any time and take a new road. We are intelligent and strong, and will find the way forward.

If there is something important we want to accomplish, and we feel strongly that we know the best way to get it done, we might try to make others involved do things our way. We may insist on compliance, sure that we have the only answer. No matter how confident we are, there are few times in life when only one way will work. Instead of forcing our views on others, we can be confident enough to listen to different ideas and allow everyone to participate in the decision. There are always many roads to every destination, and by keeping our minds open we will find the best way ahead.

Today if you’re being pushed to comply with something you don’t agree with, remember your decisions are yours to make. Listen to every perspective and choose the best road ahead. You never need to go along with anything you don’t want. You are smart and have everything you need to do anything you desire. Nothing is powerful enough to control you. Stand strong and be confident. The whole world is there for you and everything is possible.

Going Solo

Life is full of opportunities and we can do anything we like. Our lives are ours to design and every goal is possible. We are in control of our decisions and can make them in ways that take us closer to the destinations we most desire. There will always be others around us, and if we share our vision with them and explain what we want to accomplish, they may cheer us on, or they may disagree and try to dissuade from our dreams. Everyone has their own opinions about how things should go, and we’re all entitled to choose any path we like. We can listen to any suggestions or advice, and then do exactly as we please. We never need agreement or permission to create any scenario we desire. After all, our personal journey is for us, and nobody else. We aren’t here to pave the way for anyone else’s dreams, and we never need to hold ours back because others don’t like it or don’t think we should proceed. We know what we want and although support and agreement is nice, we don’t need it to succeed. We can go solo and chart our own course to every destination we seek. The whole world is there for us, and every conceivable plan is possible. We need only decide what we want and begin forward. We can do what is necessary to achieve complete happiness, even if we must do it alone. We’re born alone and we’ll certainly die alone, but in between there will be others around us. Their influence may be great, and we may value their experience and wisdom. They may want us to do as they ask or go along with them, but we don’t have to follow their lead. We are entitled to our own dreams and desires and have everything we need to make them ours. We can trust ourselves to create the lives we want the most and find great happiness and satisfaction.

It’s great to build good, strong relationships with those around us. Having family and a network of friends can embellish and enrich our lives. We may enjoy spending time with them, sharing activities, and learning new things. They may invite us to do many things, or want us to emulate their decisions, but we never have to do anything we don’t want just because we have a connection. If they want us to go somewhere we’re not interested in, or do something that isn’t right for us, we may politely decline. Having a relationship doesn’t mean we must be the same.

Our journey is ours to determine. We are unique and individual, and there never has been, nor will there ever be anyone exactly like us. The roads we choose to travel are ours to choose, and we may go anywhere and do anything. By embracing our own desires, and appreciating our specific gifts and talents, we can find great pleasure and joy each day. Every success is there for us, and we can reach them all.

Today if you’re being pressured to change your plans and go in a different direction, choose the road that will take where you most want to go. You never have to go along to get along. Be confident and chart your own course. Nobody knows you better than you know yourself. Step forward on the journey you desire and proceed toward the goal. Nothing is out of reach, and you will succeed.
